19/10/2025: Even though Google said they opened at 6:30 PM, I arrived on a Sunday evening at 6:00 PM and was served right away. The pizza was ready very quickly and cut in time for me to catch my train at the station. The staff were kind and welcoming, and they tried to make me feel comfortable by offering me several options. The chef even came out to say hello. I had an excellent Margherita, not too heavy, and reasonably priced. It must be said that at that time, it was the only place to eat on Sundays in all of Paderno Dugnano. I stumbled upon it by accident, but I'll gladly return whenever I get a little peckish while waiting for my train. Thanks! PS: Dogs are welcome :)

21/09/2025: The pizza is just as I remember it. We ordered one with pistachios and lemon zest and another with spicy salami and red onion. Both are very good, with unique flavors. The dough seems quite light, thin, and has thin edges. It helps you feel less full, so we were able to have a dessert, which was also very tasty.

25/05/2025: I returned to the pizzeria da tato after a long time and as always the products used are of excellent quality. I found the classic variety of pizzas plus the addition of very special pizzas (absolutely to try). I appreciated the improvements to the place maintaining the simple and rustic environment ensuring hospitality and courtesy from the owners, some desserts are home-made. I always recommend booking. You can park along the road. 2 pizzas 1 dessert 2 water spent €33. Highly recommended!!

01/10/2025: I want to make it clear that the pizza here is wonderful, truly amazing. I haven't had better pasta in years. I just wanted to give a 4 for the service, not for the kindness shown, which is standard in this business. But I want to point out that sometimes there can be long waits and even delivery times, and I emphasize that this is normal and I completely understand. Those 4 stars are more for the users who read them than for a lack of excellence in the pizzeria. Don't think of it as a McDonald's-type place; sometimes you might have to wait, ESPECIALLY if you come on the weekend. Don't make a fuss, don't whine, and wait calmly. Enjoy the ambiance, it's a little gem. Congratulations again to all the staff; it gives me the same serenity as watching '80s American sitcoms!

10/11/2025: A terrible experience, one to forget!!!! I booked a table for two on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, making sure, as stated on their website, they made gluten-free pizza. Of course, they said yes. I called back on Thursday, November 6, 2025, asking if they could add two more people because a couple of friends of mine, also interested in gluten-free pizza, had joined me. So, I requested a table for four on Saturday, November 8, 2025, and I asked them to reconfirm that they made gluten-free pizza. Of course, they said yes. I was told over the phone that they had two shifts, the first at 7:30 PM and the second at 9:00 PM. I booked for the first shift. I drove 30 km to get there. When we arrived, we sat down and immediately ordered the gluten-free pizza. I was immediately told they had run out. Regardless of the fact that I booked several days in advance, this inconvenience shouldn't have happened. In any case, I booked for the first serving, so I struggle to understand how they could have run out of gluten-free dough. It was embarrassing; my friends and I drove 30 km to be told they didn't have gluten-free dough. I was incredibly pissed off because something like this can't and shouldn't happen. This is pure disrespect for the customer, and it's also cunning; perhaps they were hoping I'd choose the second course so I'd spend more. Obviously, we left because we couldn't accept this situation. The thing I should have done was call the Guardia di Finanza and have them check when they'd run out of gluten-free dough, because let's face it, this definitely feels like a customer scam. This situation, however, won't end here, because I assure you they will pay for the bad impression I made with my friends, the 30 km there and 30 km back, and the total lack of respect for the customer. I'm already taking steps to do so. They didn't even try to make amends in any way; they simply said, after I got angry, that I was right, in a very superficial and almost sarcastic manner. In any case, avoid this restaurant because people like this don't deserve anything. I'm not giving zero stars because it's just not possible. Massimiliano

25/10/2025: I've been to this place and can't say enough about the service. I was disappointed with the carbonara, which was made with pancetta and wasn't the real carbonara I expected! The draft beer isn't good. The other thing I noticed was that the grated cheese was uncovered in the hallway before the bathroom. I think they need to be more careful about food storage.
