10/11/2024: Intrigued by the positive but unfortunately dated reviews (many from The Fork and many from a long time ago), we were not intimidated by the most recent reviews and booked to try this pizzeria which, not being clearly visible and having little parking, we had never seen before. Although the staff is not very welcoming but kind in their ways, for what we found in terms of quality of the food and cooking techniques and for the digestion problems (we had dinner at 8pm and now, at 10am, we still have heartburn), at the moment we cannot give a positive opinion and unfortunately we have to confirm the most recent opinions released by other users, probably something must have changed in the last period... Since I am never happy to issue such a negative opinion but, we must be objective with those who read the reviews, we will try to return later and see if we can change the rating and review but, at the moment I can only write the following... From a place that, according to reviews years ago, also appeared to do cooking, currently only serves pizza and one would expect a quality product but, from the looks of it, a big cooking error and little pre-cooking leavening were evident, that is, a low and overcooked crust, a symptom of raw pizza. In addition to this problem, there are other errors such as the tomato puree which is acidic and without flavour, which combined with buffalo mozzarella which was not drained, made the pizza a puddle of tasteless water. The other pizza was supposed to have grilled vegetables but, looking at the photo, it is clear that the vegetables have never been on a grill and were probably seared on a griddle or pan, resulting in the vegetables being semi-raw. As regards the shape, I can understand that to speed up the setting of the tables, placemats and paper napkins are used but, certainly not the canteen ones at dinner... I repeat that I never like to be so crude in evaluations and reviews but, at the moment I have no positive notes (kindness aside)... we will try to return, perhaps with a takeaway and see if our first visit was just unlucky or, confirm the most recent ones. P.s. responding to those who usually leave positive reviews because they left you a negative review should make you think and perhaps use it to improve yourself and not pretend to apologize and then get angry as I have read in some cases. It's advice to improve yourself in this too.

19/04/2025: I drank the most expensive mineral water in the world for 5 euros and I have never been to a place where you can enter but cannot leave. In the sense that to go out I have to consume even if it wasn't said at the beginning and in the description of the event on the app.

27/05/2025: Antica Costese, despite about thirty years having passed, it is rare and very pleasant to meet the same faces! Everything seems to have stopped in time, if not a few more years on its shoulders. If the staff has not changed, the same can be said of the quality of the pizza it offers. Generous dimensions, in addition to the size of the plate, thin and stuffed with quality products. Eating it today is equivalent to having eaten it years before. Always welcoming and polite staff with that welcome right from the start that makes you feel in a family environment. I recommend it 👌🏼

11/05/2025: I have been to this pizzeria several times. Friendly staff who can seat you even without a reservation. Very good pizza, fresh ingredients. The only flaw is the environment, it seems a bit old and cold.

26/05/2025: Excellent cuisine, not an exaggerated number of dishes to choose from, but great quality and attention. They don't stress you out about clearing the table, which is extremely pleasant.

17/05/2025: We went to Crispi because of the (inexplicably high) reviews, but the evening was ruined by unpleasant and unacceptable service. The elderly lady who served us was extremely rude, to the point of making us feel uncomfortable throughout the dinner. The dishes themselves were not bad, but the “strawberry pie” was without strawberries – a non-negligible detail – and the sea bream looked really unappealing. I give two stars only for the nice location and the honest prices, but the service was so unpleasant that we lost our appetite. Personally, I feel mocked by those 4.3 stars. If you like being treated rudely and then paying the bill, go ahead.

08/06/2025: Arrived by chance. Ate outside. Relaxing place. The waiter seemed a bit distant but then revealed himself to be professional and welcoming. Very good food, quality ingredients.

30/06/2025: The restaurant has a large outdoor area, so we were seated quickly. The service was fast and extremely friendly. The starter was a mixed salad, quite large and tasty. For main courses, we had pasta with tuna and salmon, both of which were good, although the pasta could have used a bit more seasoning in my opinion. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which unfortunately lacked a bit of zest and tasted a bit like coffee, but otherwise, it was good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

30/06/2025: Great food. We ordered Margherita, Spaghettoni with seafood, seafood mix, and salt-crushed sea bass. All 👌except for the Margherita, its tomato sauce was very strong. Refreshing ac and good service.

29/06/2025: A Delightful Surprise! Though I don't live nearby, I recently visited Pizzeria Il Grissino with coworkers and was positively surprised! The pizza is very good, not thick and it's great they offer a gluten-free option. The desserts were extraordinary! Definitely a place worth seeking out if you happen to be nearby. Staff was very nice!!

24/06/2025: A place that has existed for a very long time in Roman legions and that has been passed down from father to son. The pizza is very light and the ingredients are very tasty, also the other pasta, meat and fish dishes are made quite well (especially the fish couscous). Each dish can be requested in its gluten-free version and the price varies very little. In general it does not have high prices and the veranda is comfortable and spacious.

26/05/2025: I went there and they welcomed me very well and they even gave me a drink.

18/05/2025: Gluten-free pizza in a dedicated pizza carrier, delivered to Vanzago, right on time. The pizza is low, very wide, well-filled. Excellent value for money: decent quality filling at very fair prices. Anyway, good, not greasy and digestible. We'll take it again.
