07/09/2024: Pessimo Personale maleducato dopo attesa infernale neanche il menu ci è stato portato siamo andati a prenderlo . Dopo 2 ore di attesa per 3 pizze ci alziamo chiediamo gentilmente di pagare il bere perché ormai le 10 di sera la dipendente comincia a urlare contro che le pizze ormai sono un forno e ci butta fuori dal locale urlando Tavolo affianco a noi hanno portato da mangiare prima ai genitori dopo a 1 bambino e passando altri 15 minuti portano anche all’altro bambino È un peccato perché il mangiare è buono ma il personale e da rivalutare Se quando prendeva l’ordine specificava che ci vuole così tanto tempo le cose cambiavano non ci sedavamo neanche

08/12/2024: Maybe I was just unlucky (I had already passed a few other times). I was, let's say, intoxicated with super acute diarrhea with an incubation period of six hours. Disastrous outcome, underwear and trousers to be thrown away. Fixed menu €12, dumplings, roast pork, spinach side dish instead of the requested mixed salad. Added €1 for coffee. Environment that recalls, or seems, somewhat relevant to the Arab world, with all the relative pros and cons.

09/11/2024: Attesa lunga, “casoncelli “ talmente cotti che si rompevano e il ripieno fuoriusciva. Salatissimi e per di più navigavano nel burro. Posizione pessima e servizio lento. Sconsigliato

16/11/2024: In questi ristorante i prezzi sono alti mentre le porzioni sono scarse. Ordinato paccheri con ragù di polpo, ebbene hanno portato 8 paccheri di pasta (proprio 8 di numero) qualche polpetto congelato e del sugo al costo di €16!! Un chilo di paccheri al supermercato costa circa €2, in questo ristorante 8 paccheri, stracotti e sfatti, costano €16. L'ho detto alla cameriera ma ha fatto "spallucce" e si è allontanata. Ma anche NO!! A nessuno piace essere fregato, preso in giro. Inoltre il locale era freddo col riscaldamento spento, a metà novembre, con 2° di temperatura esterna. Ci sono molti ristoranti a Varese, belli e caldi con pietanze ottime a prezzi ragionevoli, adeguati e competitivi, ma non questo. Sicuramente non ci torneremo.

We often go there because they are certified for cooking for celiacs, the pizza is processed and cooked in a protected regime without any contamination. Excellent welcome upon our arrival, also because we had booked in advance. Good food. The table service was impeccable: the two girls who carry out this task are fast, precise and always smiling. A first course, a second course, a bottle of water, a glass of wine or beer and a coffee for €15.90.

07/08/2024: You simply cannot say you have been to Monte Campione if you haven't had at least one lunch or dinner from Bettino to the Valgrande pizzeria where you can eat excellent pizzas, both simple and elaborate, even double ones with two flavours...and eat excellent appetizers first courses (casoncelli handmade by Bettino) and second courses. Absolutely not to be missed are the desserts which are always spectacular, in particular the tiramisu and the crème brulé. A special mention goes to the staff who, starting from Bettino and going on to his lady and her family who help him in managing the pizzeria, are exceptionally hospitable. A great team.
