I usually leave only positive comments, but this time I have to be objective.
We stopped at this place for a quiet Sunday lunch because it seemed to be the one with the most attention to detail...
At 1:00 PM, we ordered two simple appetizers, a first course, and a second course with a side dish.
The appetizers were decent, but they arrived on time... at 2:30 PM, the baked potatoes side dish arrived, and after 15 minutes, the swordfish finally arrived. I waited for my main course, which finally arrived after another 30 minutes.
However, instead of rice, potatoes, and mussels, the terrine I ordered contained a mixed fish soup (without rice).
I politely called the waitress and informed her that she probably had the wrong table for the delivery.
She apologized and told me that my order was on its way and that it was in the oven.
We wait another 20 minutes and finally the famous rice, potatoes, and mussels arrives... I go to eat it and thought I'd caught the shell of a mussel, since I was having trouble picking it up on my cutlery... oh no, once I put the bite in my mouth, I realize that the entire inside of the dish was frozen.
I call the waitress back, and instead the owner, "I think," arrives, apologizing in a mortified manner (and I'm very sorry) and trying to make amends, asking for something else I would have liked, which she would obviously have provided. My appetite, however, was gone, but under her insistence, I order a plate of orecchiette with "simply" sauce, which arrives in record time.
When it comes to the bill, the lady apologizes again and doesn't pay for an appetizer, and obviously not for my "primo."
Overall, I feel sorry for the lady because she probably has incompetent staff who are certainly detracting from the value of the place.
Get up from the table around 4:30 PM😂

Sometimes word of mouth isn't enough... we chose between three restaurants in the area, and it turned out to be beyond our personal expectations.
Super elegant location... bright... sea view...
A lovely lit fireplace takes pride of place... next to a huge refrigerator full of delicacies... we take a seat and are joined by a very kind Albanian waiter named Julius.
Friendly... pleasant and professional, but perhaps a little pushy with requests that aren't accepted.
The prices are absolutely high... the quality is adequate.
It's advisable to consult the menu before trusting the waiter's suggestions to avoid going over budget...
Reservations are not necessary in low season.

Quality Valentine's Day with a Sea View
We chose Porto Adriano in San Cataldo for Valentine's Day, and the option to order à la carte (without the obligation of a fixed menu) was a winning move.
The Experience in Brief:
Cuisine: Extremely fresh fish and carefully prepared dishes. The raw fish and pasta dishes are excellent, with authentic flavors and modern presentations.
Wine: Interesting wine list; we paired our dinner with a local white recommended by the staff, which was perfect.
Atmosphere: The restaurant is elegant, and the winter sea view is very picturesque for a couple.
Service: Despite the crowded evening, the staff was quick and professional. The easy parking right in front is a welcome bonus, a welcome relief from the chaos of Lecce's city center.
Conclusion: Excellent value for those looking for quality seafood in a refined setting. A guarantee just minutes from the city. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming place, excellent service, and delicious food. The spaghetti alla chitarra with clams and the gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and shrimp are highly recommended.

A pleasant and well-maintained location, certainly one of the restaurant's strong points. The raw seafood appetizer was excellent, with a pleasant aroma of the sea and interesting ingredients.
For the first course, we chose the paccheri with mussels and lobster: overall, the dish was almost tasty, but the mussels weren't particularly fresh, and the lobster, served in pieces, appeared partially crumbled—let's just say it had lost its "marine nobility."
The mixed fried fish was good and well-crafted. To finish, the mussels in pepper sauce: appreciable flavor, but decidedly too salty, enough to make even a seasoned sailor thirsty.
The service was decent, but the wait times were medium to long, which, in a location with a medium-high target market, could use some improvement.
Overall, I give it a minus 7: a pleasant experience, but with room for improvement, especially in terms of perceived freshness and customer service. In the end, we spent over 100 euros for the two of us — a sum that deserves a little more “tailor-made” attention to detail.
