07/12/2024: Inedible pizza! The pizzas completely dry and burnt. We couldn't even cut them but had to break them like dry focaccia. The sour and dry tomato four small pieces of completely cremated mozzarella. At the bill we notified the manager who kindly asked us if everything was fine and the answer was: "unfortunately when we turn on the oven the pizzas are like this"

18/01/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for a family lunch. I must say that reading reviews I was hesitant. Instead the food was good, plentiful, well served. Price normal.

02/02/2025: Intimate, warm and welcoming restaurant, tasty typical sea and land dishes! There are owls everywhere, more or less funny, of all shapes, very characteristic! Marco is a very good chef, the love and passion he puts into his dishes can be felt in the taste! I recommend trying its first courses and the owl appetizer, you will be amazed! The thin pizzas with soft dough, very seasoned (with one you are satisfied, especially seafood!) with a nice draft beer, which went down very well. Homemade desserts, delicious meringue and tiramisu. Despite the many people on Saturday evening, the staff was able to manage the service as best as possible. We feel satisfied, enjoyed and with a full belly. We will definitely return to eat at Il Gufo!

12/01/2025: We have just had a dinner for 14 people for approximately 270 euros, excellent if not perfect service and food, we have always been customers of this place, but I must point out a significant detail, the NEW owner. This evening before we even had coffee they turned off the hot air conditioner, we wouldn't have had a problem if it hadn't been that there was a hole in the glass door and we were cold, plus with a 2 month old baby. When my mother asked the owner for explanations, they were: "I thought you were hot" and "I thought he was leaving". Now, unfortunately or fortunately, I have worked for several years in the catering sector as a waitress and in any case, on principle, customers are expected to leave the table before turning everything off, unfortunately it was just a ploy by the owner to send us away, a big It's a shame because the service and cuisine were impeccable as always and what's more I have always come to eat here for years and always in large numbers, I even come from La Spezia to eat here and unfortunately after this experience we will be forced not to come here again. I feel sorry for the girls to whom I would have gladly left a tip but after this well served it didn't seem appropriate.

24/08/2024: Location comoda e accessibile alla strada. Praticamente è sulla statale 45 di fronte alle porte di Gorreto. Abbiamo mangiato una buona focaccia al formaggio con culatello locale. Buon servizio. Buona qualità.

04/08/2024: Courtesy, quality of the proposal and a setting like the Trebbia valley are the best combination that can describe the Miramonti hotel in Gorreto. It was a perfect stop on our tourist cycle route that took us from the heart of the Alps to the sea. We stayed there for one night and from the first moment the welcome was warm and helpful. The simple rooms, in a preserved style and extremely clean, allowed us to rest in tranquility with the background of the flowing river. The plentiful and quality dinner reassured us. The proposal is varied and all home made. Highly recommended even just for a break during a trip to visit this splendid valley with a bathing river.

25/10/2024: Pizza ottima, soprattutto la focaccia al formaggio. Buonissimi gli antipasti e cmq tutta la cucina proposta. Posto ideale per famiglie anche con bambini. Location bella e pulita in posizione strategica, nessun problema di parcheggio. Il personale molto professionale, servizio veloce. In estate si può cenare all'aperto. Stra consigliato

22/02/2025: Posto in posizione fantastica affacciato sul mare abbiamo mangiato sulla terrazza con il mare davanti uno spettacolo !primi molto buoni e fritto molto tenero e asciutto !dolci spettacolari specialmente la torta di mele caramellate una bontà !personale molto gentile e disponibile un grazie e a presto !

21/02/2025: Capitato per caso pr un pranzo di lavoro non ho per nulla gradito l'esperienza, sia per la poca qualità dei piatti che per il servizio. Una nota per tutte: nonostante abbiamo entrambi lasciato metà del cibo nel piatto non ci è neanche chiesto cosa non fosse andato bene. Non avrebbe cambiato il risultato ma l'esperienza sarebbe stata meno sgradevole. Anche sul prezzo avrei da ridire: due antipasti, due primi e due caffé (senza vino) 74 euro. Peccato perché la posizione è molto bella e il locale avrebbe un ben altro potenziale.

07/03/2025: Ligurian excellence in the heart of Genoa A restaurant that celebrates the Ligurian tradition with authentic dishes and quality ingredients. The trofie with pesto are simply perfect: fresh pasta and creamy pesto with an intense flavour, prepared with very fresh basil. The fried cod is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, fried to perfection without being greasy. Paccheri with fish are a true masterpiece, with a rich and tasty sauce that enhances the freshness of the catch. The service is attentive and courteous, the atmosphere welcoming and the prices more than fair for the quality offered. An absolutely must-try restaurant for those who love authentic Ligurian cuisine!

04/03/2025: Very fair quality-price, we tasted the “fritelle di baccala’e cavolfiore con insalata” and “polpette d’acciughe e broccoletti con insalata”. Familiar restaurant, very busy on Sundays. The surprise and a must to try was the TIRAMISÚ! Miraculous… 😋 P.S.: Profiteroles are highly recommended.

23/03/2025: Two cocktails served without ice during aperitif time. Only when we asked were we told it had run out. Considering they cost €10 each, at the very least customers should be warned.

22/03/2025: Central location behind the Duomo Di Alba, few paid parking spaces, convenient for those on foot, restaurant with covered outdoor tables, classic interior. Open until late in the evening, excellent for spending an evening with a coffee, a digestive and an ice cream. Put it is useful if you liked the review. 21/03/2025: Small family-run restaurant. Excellent products, excellent pizza, top quality, delicious dough and very light to digest. Gluten-free dough available for celiacs. Only flaw, service a little slow but the wait is repaid by excellent food. Highly recommended.

18/02/2025: Dark and a bit dirty place including the small bathroom, shaky and uncomfortable tables outside, mediocre food, quick but not friendly and not very polite service, not much drinking... you can just drink a beer and run away... not to be missed recommend especially to families..

12/02/2025: Very tasty pesto, at a good price (6 euros). Despite the proximity of the square, there were almost only locals and no tourists.

23/03/2025: Very good pizza in the historic center of Genoa. Thin and well topped. Memorable service: you take the order and leave it on the counter, they serve you the pizza in the box and off you go. Everything very nice, I will return. Compliments to Pino and the lady who work there.

09/03/2025: Pizza cruda, indigeribile!! Perfetta se vuoi passare la notte sveglia. Locale semplice e caratteristico, non si effettua servizio al tavolo. Prezzo in linea con la qualità.

03/03/2025: Never had a pizza so bad that you couldn't finish it, everything was so salty. Cheese and tomato sauce on the pizza when you tried to cut it there was nothing left! For the €33 spent on three very simple pizzas from here, leave one there directly because it is inedible!
