20/09/2025: We have been getting pizza from Panucci for some time now and I always recommend your place, but: last night I ordered two pizzas and a farinata and I have to say that we were not very happy. First of all, the order arrived an hour earlier than expected with the risk of not being at home. Secondly, and I say this because I ate very good pizzas from you last night. The usual standard was not maintained. The pizza was undercooked, the flour used did not seem to be of good quality and above all the ingredients were absolutely not as usual. The onion was practically almost raw and tasteless. I will continue to get pizza from you hoping that it returns to the usual levels!

31/08/2025: A terrible experience; we arrived early and asked if we could sit while waiting for service. Between the rude response and, when he finally pointed to our table and rudely exclaimed, "That's the table!" we decided to leave. As expected, the owner's response validated our experience. He had communicated a half-hour early to the restaurant, which confirmed the reservation. When we arrived, the restaurant was half empty (half the terrace was full and the inside was empty). Given this attitude, it's no surprise the restaurant is so slow.

06/10/2025: I like to reserve 5 stars for the really extraordinary places; this was very good. We had wonderful risotto with porcini mushrooms, bagna cauda, wild board stew, and veal with the tuna sauce. All was great. As we watched other things coming out of the kitchen, they all looked fantastic as well. Recommend this restaurant without reservations!

14/08/2025: Pizza just arrived. I don't usually write negative reviews, but this pizza is shameful. To say it's awful is an understatement. Never again.

20/10/2025: It's unfortunate that in 2025, in a restaurant that prides itself on its historic status and serving only quality food, there are serious shortcomings both in transparency of customer communication and in the management of potential—and, I emphasize, human—errors by the staff. Unable to eat certain foods, I asked the lady in charge for clarification regarding the cod frisceu and the Ligurian meatloaf. First slip-up. The cod frisceu, described by the lady as bread and cod fritters, turns out to be battered cod: utterly in the face of Ligurian tradition! Here, we let it slide because we wanted to do anything but start a discussion. The problem, at least for me, comes with the meatloaf. I was told it was made with potatoes and green beans, but it contains mushrooms (completely omitted from the description), which, unfortunately, I can't eat. When we politely pointed out to the lady that this ingredient hadn't been listed, she said, "There are mushrooms, but there aren't many!" There aren't many? What's your answer, dear lady? Have you ever heard of food allergies or intolerances? When we reminded her that they'd explicitly asked her about the ingredients, she, not satisfied with her previous response, added, "Well, I didn't even tell you there were eggs and breadcrumbs. I didn't know the lady couldn't eat mushrooms." Obviously, not a gesture of regret, nor an attempt to apologize or try to correct a "human error." Just a completely passive-aggressive attitude. And, clearly, if it were necessary to make it clear, not even a polite question at the cashier to find out how the dinner went. Dear Gino dal 1910, luckily I won't die if I eat a mushroom, but update me on issues of menu transparency and the possible legal consequences of providing misinformation to customers. There are people more determined than me who might not limit themselves to a review.

19/10/2025: Decent, not a place to remember for the food or anything else. The mixed antipasto was confusing; they didn't even explain what was served. The first course was decent.

14/09/2025: I highly recommend the pizza, both for pickup and delivery. It was delicious. We ate here four times during our vacation and still couldn't get enough.

20/08/2025: It's definitely the best pizzeria in the area: excellent dough, good ingredients, and easy to digest. I only have one piece of advice: please change the fries! They often turn out soggy and tasteless. Get a more traditional brand.

31/08/2025: For 56 euros you can see a wall because they reserve the places at the beach for no reason, it's almost entirely empty... I don't understand what the concrete gate is for, at least we could have seen a bit but that's not how it works... at least the staff is kind.

11/10/2025: Without a doubt, the best pizzas in Liguria. Working on a cruise ship, I've been able to try many pizzerias in the area, and those at Angelo Palma's are the best. Thanks to the team.

05/10/2025: Service was reasonably good. The food was below average for Italy. The lasagna was lukewarm inside. Portions were tiny. The caprese had a tomato and, admittedly, a large mozzarella. The taste was okay. 2 lasagnas, 1 caprese, 1 melon with ham, and 2 tonic waters cost €75 (including the coperto, €6). Far too expensive.

07/10/2025: Never tried the food because even though on here (Google) says it’s open at 1:00pm on a Tuesday - it is closed. Change your damn hours

28/09/2025: Friendly restaurant in a cozy atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of Portofino's main square. We were very well received despite the menu support which could do with a rework, we choose from a plastic card and a little too much chocolate powder on the tiramisu! The experience is nevertheless recommended

19/10/2025: A huge selection of good family food at a good price, and very good service. We went twice in our trip to Genoa and everyone found something to enjoy. If you want the finest Italian cuisine look elsewhere.

11/10/2025: We had pasta, it was okay, although the carbonara was very fatty, almost too fatty. The Aperol was, well, unimaginative. The service was okay. Everything else, too.

08/09/2025: A very good restaurant. Delicious thin-crust pizza and well-prepared carbonara. Very good price. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

02/09/2025: The seating is lovely, centrally located near the beach. The staff is very attentive. The pizza is fantastic and reasonably priced.
