07/05/2025: So after hours of travel at sea, we moor at the ancient port... I go out to explore the place and I sit here to eat but as soon as I sit down a waiter comes and asks me what I'm drinking... and I say red wine, a bottle and that tells me that it costs a lot like €35... but if I ask you for a bottle of wine it means that I have the money to pay, and that's fine... then I eat because really after 13 hours at sea I'm hungry and for me even the stone is good... and I give two stars because there is a worthy waiter, he came to talk to me and also apologized...then I go to pay and tell this waiter that the customer never asks if he has money to pay for the wine because it is rude and he starts arguing with me instead of apologizing,, and the owner doesn't even care to say "sorry" to you, in fact the owner who is at the cash register even looked at me badly...zero politeness...but nothing "EVERYONE HERE IS RUDE EXCEPT THAT ONE ITALIAN WAITER"...APPOSING TO THE CUSTOMER COSTS NOTHING...remember that you are the restaurateurs and you need us consumers, so keep your eyes open.

05/05/2025: Excelente restaurante cerca de la estación. El servicio era perfecto, comida de primera categoría. Muy ocupado (lunes por la noche) con una mezcla de lugareños y visitantes, todas las edades. Buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendar la pasta de calamatra de marisco y la pasta troife con almejas. Casa blanca perfectamente bebible.

01/05/2025: Fermato per un giro in moto. Ristorante pulitissimo e personale accogliente. Menù vario e prezzi giusti. Gli affettati davvero di qualità, ricercati e non facili da mangiare in altri ristoranti. La carne con la crema di porcino da delirio. Ci tornerò ad ogni giro in moto!!!!

09/04/2025: I came there as a child with my parents and I still go there often with my wife, my children and friends. The staff is friendly, the place is large and welcoming and the food is very good. The cheese focaccia, the pizza but also the sea and mountain cuisine are excellent.

29/04/2025: Accogliente e grazioso locale. Il servizio è stato informale ma attento e professionale. Abbiamo assaggiato diverse tipologie di fritti come i supplì al telefono ed i supplì cacio e pepe, croccanti e asciutti. Poi abbiamo proseguito con due pizze con impasto classico napoletano e, in particolare quella chiamata "pepperoni" (all'americana) con salsiccia piccante e miele di acacia piccante anch'esso si è rivelata una vera delizia.

15/03/2025: Pizza molto buona, ma attesa infinita, siamo andati a cena di venerdì sera.. il locale era affollato ma alcuni tavoli erano liberi.. atteso 45 minuti per mangiare, mi sembra veramente esagerato..

19/05/2025: Came here with a friend and ordered the pumpkin pizza. The pizza took ages to come out even though they were not that busy - we were waiting nearly 45 minutes - pizza was nice but incredibly cheesy to point of being too much, I think there should have been more pumpkin and less cheese. Overall was ok - but probably better pizza in Genova

16/04/2025: Ambiente modesto, locali angusti con tavoli molto vicini l'uno all'altro. Pasta della pizza senza infamia e senza lode. Ottimo invece l'abbinamento dei condimenti (pizza Giorgia; menù del giorno). Prezzi delle pizze dai 6-7 ai 10--12 euro. Il nostro gruppo aveva prenotato per tempo, ma ha dovuto attendere piuttosto a lungo sotto la pioggia prima che i tavoli fossero pronti.

05/05/2025: Short trip to Genoa, just a few days but we went twice in a row to have dinner here. We tried everything, focaccias, farinata pizzas and calzones, everything was delicious and very plentiful, we left really full and happy spending very little. Thank you very much, when we return to Genoa we will definitely return, highly recommended!!

13/04/2025: Pizza with a bitter, acrid taste because if cooked badly you eat the charred dough. In fact it took them 2 minutes to deliver it... never again

02/06/2025: There is a swimming pool, a five-a-side football pitch, a rather expensive restaurant, a large array of sun loungers and umbrellas. The new management has filled the establishment with prohibitions, ruining its atmosphere.

24/05/2025: Should have read reviews before choosing this place on a whim.Definitely not a warm and friendly welcome. Hubby wanted a coffee but the owner gave his loud animated opinion that Italians don’t drink coffee with pizza so hubby had a coke.We ordered 2 pizzas, 4 drinks,they were good at a nice table outside. Didn’t notice there was a cover charge 4 euros/person on the menu until I got the bill inside and inquired about it to the owner- Was embarrassed as he said in front of the restaurant patrons/ staff very loudly“Well in North America you tip for service so it’s the same, you have to pay it”was an aggressive tone. We just paid and laughed it off and that was our first meal in Italy. Grazie

21/05/2025: Amazing location with fantastic food and service. Giro is the best host makes you feel like family. The prosciutto arugula pizza is exceptional.

05/04/2025: It wasn't a good experience, the coffee wasn't great and the service wasn't great either. It will probably be strong in the restaurant business, but if you simply need to drink a coffee there are other places in Alba.
