08/08/2026: Friends, I can definitely recommend this place, because what truly makes this restaurant special is the people who work here. First of all, I want to mention the gentleman who greeted us at the entrance. We arrived a whole hour early because Google showed the wrong opening time for the restaurant. But instead of turning us away, they welcomed us, offered us drinks, and seated us in the air-conditioned dining room — and that was just the beginning. Then an incredibly lovely girl named Serena joined the team (please forgive me if I got your name or the spelling wrong). I haven’t experienced such wonderful service in a long time! She speaks at least three languages — Spanish, English, and Italian — and recommended so many delicious dishes, every single one of which was worth every euro. Thank you to the entire team, the owner, and the country for such a wonderful evening! ❤️

08/08/2026: This is a typical place that, in order to accommodate as many people as possible, ignores the need to increase kitchen staff as much as possible. The result was a 1:15 hour wait for eight pizzas. We had to ask twice for directions. Sorry, but I'm leaving a negative review.

09/07/2026: We returned to this pizzeria in Borgonovo and unfortunately it wasn't a good experience: mixed antipasto with cured meats cut in old and very spicy cuts, grilled vegetables so to speak almost raw, bad aubergines in oil... we ordered 2 pizzas with wholemeal dough, the waitress brought us 2 pizzas with normal dough without telling us if she had to remake them etc... little courtesy and a hint of arrogance... a shame.

05/07/2026: Delicious pizzas, very kind staff, which is not a given these days, excellent desserts, I'm not giving 5 stars only because the air conditioning is too high. Anyway, congratulations again for the staff and the food.

07/04/2026: Terrible experience!! Avoid at all costs! You're only paying for the location; otherwise, the food and service are zero. The pizza had very few toppings. The seafood pizza had no cheese, just a few pieces of seafood and tomato sauce. Very expensive for nothing.

10/08/2026: We probably had a "bad night"—our order was taken twice, which is understandable. The somewhat confused waiters brought the wrong dish, which is understandable, too. When our pizzas were brought, they completely forgot about one, and since everyone else had already finished theirs, despite me saying I didn't want it anymore, it arrived after a while. It was very thin, and would have been fine, but as I ate it, it tasted burnt, so when you looked underneath, it was burnt, so more than half of it remained on my plate. I mentioned it to the waitress, who, as if nothing had happened, actually found something to complain about because I'd started eating it (without looking underneath). The fried pizza, on the other hand, was very good and cooked well. It would have been enough to simply say "sorry," because I understand that can happen and would have avoided writing about my experience, and in any case, I paid for it anyway without making a fuss. It's a shame, because the other pizzas that weren't burned were said to be good, even though they were thin.

08/08/2026: We booked this pizzeria, recommended by a friend, as there were three adults and six children. The idea was to sit outside between the swings and slide so as not to disturb other customers, but we were placed inside, probably because there was no room outside. When we arrived, the children were stung by a wasp nest that a lady kindly removed since the children kept coming in crying. She noticed and immediately went to remove the nest and explained what had happened to us; everything was very good so far. The "waitress" arrives, takes our order and explains that their Bufala is a white pizza with fresh tomatoes on top; my friend asks for a red one with cooked ham added. I then ask for a Bufala with VERY LITTLE PASSATA. The pizzas arrive, mine arrives white with cherry tomatoes. I ask to have it remade because I don't like white pizza. The waitress keeps arguing, saying she explained to me that their buffalo mozzarella was white. She keeps repeating that I didn't want it white, and the waitress even calls me rude just because I sent back the pizza I didn't order! I've been doing this job for 16 years, and today, courtesy no longer exists within these walls. The kids aren't trained, they don't know how to approach customers, much less politeness! I wait 25 minutes because, of course, it's Saturday and the place was crowded, but after informing them of a buffalo mozzarella among the pizzas, I ask the waitress if there was a long wait to cancel it because the children were suffering from the wait; they had all eaten and I was there waiting. This girl's response (because calling her a waitress is an insult to anyone who does this job and loves it) is that she's finished with me, I don't need to talk to her. Why??? Sorry, I don't have to talk to the waitress, but what the hell kind of place am I fake in? 🤣 So old! My pizza arrives, and when it's time to cut it, the OWNER comes out, saying the children were disturbing us and we couldn't stay in the restaurant anymore. The pizza was left half-finished! Drinks and water were all left on the table, EVICTED BY THE OWNER BECAUSE THE CHILDREN WERE MAKING NOISE! Now I'm the owner too, but a child crying because he's sleepy or tired—how dare you call yourselves entrepreneurs?? You need to call a sanitation service, given that bees were coming in and out at will between the tables, the cash register somewhere (inside the kitchen), the pizza chefs with headphones around their necks while the pizza was being prepared, plastic cups that weren't even disposable, but the detectable kind that who knows how they're washed. For a total of €103 thrown in the trash. Dear Entrepreneur, I don't even want to know your name or even know you, remember that you were a child too, and you're the one who made the place look bad with your Zelig-esque outburst about the noise. At least have the courage to come out and present the bill while I'm paying, because I wanted to tell you a couple of things, but he never came out of the kitchen. Who knows why!!! If you want, I can teach you the job, which has evolved since the 1970s! People acquire customers and build customer loyalty, but above all, teach the job to those who wear a uniform in their name! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WITH CHILDREN!

28/06/2026: Ordered home delivery at 7:30 PM and they said it would arrive at 8:40 PM. At 9 PM I called and they said it was on its way. It arrived at 9:20 AM (I live 10 minutes from the pizzeria). The pizza arrived wrong. They told me they were sorry and would remake it. They've made the wrong pizza before. But at normal times, that's fine. Waiting another half hour and having dinner an hour and a half later is no big deal. Terrible performance, terrible attitude, and terrible behavior.

28/02/2026: I ordered 4 pizzas and they guaranteed delivery by 8:15/8:30 PM. My order was delayed by 45 minutes. We almost starved to death. Unacceptable! I had to give it 1 star, but I would have given it less than 0.

28/04/2026: I wanted to try Mariuccia's new management for a Sunday lunch with friends and family. The place has a new, clean and attractive look. The staff is extremely kind and attentive. The dishes are decidedly delicious, featuring quality ingredients, modern presentation, and original pairings. The wine list is impressive. The prices are reasonable. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I haven't tried the pizza yet 😉 But I'll be back soon.

24/04/2026: A youthful atmosphere, with great attention to detail. Efficient and precise service. The quality of the dishes and pizzas is excellent, with particular attention to the finest ingredients. Highly recommended for a pleasant evening.
