02/06/2026: I asked for a diavola, which, as you know, has spicy salami, and they brought it to me with sausages.
Another pizza, initially a margherita with sausage, arrived as a plain margherita.

02/05/2026: I don't understand other reviews. Honestly, we went to dinner here simply because it was close to where we were staying, but we were hesitant given the many negative reviews. We had two delicious pizzas and the fried foods, which were always delicious—they even made them themselves. Even though the place was packed, we were served in half an hour. The staff was kind and helpful. I don't know what people are looking for, but I think those who nitpick should eat at home, or at Michelin-starred restaurants where you pay four times as much. For us, it was a positive experience. I didn't try the food, but I can't fault the pizza. I'd go back.

24/06/2026: Very good food, but lately it's been full of flies landing everywhere, especially on the pizza, even though I and another lady who was in line pointed it out... nothing, as if nothing had happened, I went back and it's always full of flies... The staff is kind, the only flaw is the flies...

27/11/2025: For me and my family, Piazza di Boccione has become a unit of measurement... ever since I was little, when we still had to go to the square to make phone calls from the SIP booths... no one in all these years has ever knocked it off the podium for the best pizza by the slice! Given that the red, white, and Margherita were mandatory for breakfast or to take to the beach... I have to mention my favorite of the non-classics... the gamberi!!!! Thanks for your tireless work from a true admirer!
16/09/2025: A day at the beach with the family in Lavinio to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Before leaving and returning to Rome, the now grown-up couple expressed a desire
to stop by Boccione to relive the taste of the pizza they used to buy before going to the beach as children.

22/07/2026: We had two pizzas; both were excellent and large. The only issue was the service—there are five staff members, yet at first, no one pays you any attention, and then they all stare right at your mouth while you eat. It probably isn't the best place for foreigners; I can recommend the pizza itself, but you're better off ordering it to go—you aren't exactly welcome there.

Extremely expensive for the quality
The waiters serve pizzas with sweat dripping down them
The restrooms are extremely dirty
The queues at the cash register are endless because they're incapable of splitting the bill according to couples

03/03/2026: Mediocre service: first courses, gricia and tonnarelli cacio e pepe, served at different times and poorly cooked. The wait between the first and second courses was over 50 minutes. We had to get up and not finish our meal, and we paid the full 67 euros.

16/02/2026: Family-run restaurant. Excellent food, superb stuffed fried artichokes, and delicious homemade desserts. Also recommended for the excellent service. Mrs. Ersilia is unforgettable.

09/11/2024: Rispondo al proprietario,il coperto non credo che venga 24 ,00 euro,e poi fate pagare il coperto quando non c'è niente di stoffa ma solo carta ,già li c'è da dire,e poi il listino che parla lei non è chiaro perché una pizza che sta di listino 10,00 euro e arriva a 14,00 anche qui non siete chiari,e stia tranquillo che di pizzerie c'è ne sono tante non serve venire da voi!
21/10/2024: La pizza è spettacolare e il personale è gentile e disponibilissimo.
Consiglio caldamente di provarlo perchè ne vale assolutamente la pena

28/09/2024: Locale tipico romano nel cuore di Trastevere. Senza glutine certificato AIC...e da SuperV!!! Focaccia senza glutine 'perfetta' e condivisibile con glutinosi molto molto pretenziosi. Approvata anche da loro! Servizio in linea con le aspettative, prezzi anche...anzi...un tantino meno. Gianmarco porta in sala quella passione e affetto che ti fanno tornare in locali come questo. Bravo...grinta e avanti così!! V
15/09/2024: Ci siamo trovati al Tulipano Nero per cena con amici , gradevole lo spazio all aperto, ma ci siamo subito trovati non a nostro agio con lo staff che non ci ha dato molto tempo per decidere cosa prendere in tranquillità. Fritti assolutamente insoddisfacenti, specie i suppli insapori. Teglie di pizza ok, senza infamia e senza lode (Teglia cacio e pepe senza presenza di pepe per esempio). I Ragazzi troppo incalzanti non sono stati però molto chiari nella spiegazione del menu, col risultato che ci è arrivata almeno una teglia in meno di quelle ordinate. Da non tornarci

25/04/2025: Doverosa premessa:veniamo in questo posto dal 2013.Siamo cresciuti ed abbiamo visto crescere questa splendida realtà che non ha MAI deluso le aspettative. Parliamo DEL punto di riferimento per il gluten free di questo pezzo di costa laziale. Oggi però una giornata storta anzi stortissima da cui deriva il provocatorio titolo (perché giusto la morte del cuoco può portare a questo). Antipasto pessimo rispetto a quello che ricordavamo (e lo ricordavamo bene sia per quantità che qualità) secondi (1) arrivato prima dei 2 primi ordinati. Primi arrivati pochi minuti dopo il secondo che hanno costretto a scegliere tra un risotto alla pescatore (buono) da mangiare freddo e una griglatata che se mangiata fredda avrebbe perso tutto il sapore. Una giornata storta. Può capitare. Ed eravamo i primi clienti quindi nessun caos in sala. Daremo comunque di nuovo fiducia. Sperando di essere costruttivi
12/01/2025: Oggi è andato tutto per il meglio, buono l'antipasto di montagna, così come i primi soprattutto le fettuccine ai funghi e la carne, buono anche il vino della Divina Provvidenza, cantina locale molto interessante, prezzi accessibili e locale bello internamente.

22/07/2024: Nonostante fosse molto tardi per il pranzo, i proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e ci hanno regalato anche gli ultimi due pezzi di pizza di un tipo. Ottimo impasto, prezzi ottimi, ingredienti freschi e simpatia dei proprietari. Tipica pizza di Anzio fina e croccante. Consigliata!
