03/09/2024: I went to this restaurant a little out of spite for my birthday and we had an experience that marked us (negatively) the service was slow, the waiters avoided our gaze we had to call them so that they would take our order after 30 minutes of waiting (for drinks??) we had burgers which lacked flavor and which were served with boiled and cold potatoes???? In short, I do not recommend a real tourist trap as it seemed.
01/09/2024: I went to this pizzeria in the city center again after about 2 years and unfortunately the experience was not the best. The pizza was half raw, which completely ruined the meal. Not to mention that the waitress was constantly arguing with her colleagues. The service was acceptable, but the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired.

06/08/2024: We ordered a half meter pizza and it turned out to be a truly gigantic pizza. The materials were of very high quality. The only thing I didn't like was the pizza dough. It was too thick. I may not have seen the dough option, but I suggest you pay attention to it. Also it came extremely fast.

21/08/2024: I was there a couple of weeks ago, I knew about it but I had never been.
Pleasantly surprised by the goodness of the pizza and the pleasant garden.
Friendly and prompt staff.
Highly recommended
15/08/2024: An hour and a half from the order to have three pizzas (one of which was wrong) on a weekday with the place only half occupied.
Any other consideration appears superfluous.

27/08/2024: Very bad service, forgot a pizza one of us ordered and after quite a long time they served a pizza which wasn’t ready, the beef dish was like chewing gum and the waiter was so rude. Never again😡
26/08/2024: I love this place which I have been frequenting since more than 10 years ago. I am extremely pleased that they have not changed the decoration, the tables, the menus, everything remains pleasantly as it once was, with the same charm and the same quality.
The pizzas have their own special touch, they are not made with the usual exaggerated crust that is so fashionable but with the right size, not excessively large but not flattened either. The salads are also gorgeous. The service is professional, fast and with an excellent quality-price ratio.
The pizza with porchetta is delicious, even the one with aubergines or with fried potatoes.

21/05/2024: I do not know what happened. We are from Via Schiaparelli and we have been ordering from this pizzeria since perhaps 2016. To date, the pizza has shrunk, perhaps almost half of what it used to be and today it was RAW! (As well as tasteless).
Unfortunately, it will be the last time.

24/08/2024: Inedible pizza: the dough was raw on the inside and burnt on the outside.
Seasoning: the sauce was without oil and salt, with water from the mozzarella (which hadn't even melted).
Takeaway with waiting time: + 40 minutes, with the place empty.
We called before going to collect, asking what time we could come by for collection: 30 minutes....
Once there, they still had to be baked.
Too bad... years ago it was one of the best pizzerias in Trieste.

13/07/2024: The worst pizzeria ever seen.. pizza arrived burnt then the first time in my life that I ordered a Viennese and it arrived with a whole frankfurter.. money wasted.. I don't know how the chef is not ashamed.. not recommended
30/06/2024: I would NOT recommend to anyone this place. Yesterday I ordered a pizza menu with sweets and drink. They sent me the drink and the sweets without the pizza. I called them and they had the audacity to be offended as they said they didn’t see which pizza I chose. So instead of calling me or texting me they sent out a delivery boy without the main course of the menu. Not a single sorry or anything left their mouth. Terrible service for real

25/06/2024: Excellent pizza. Super dough that doesn't make me die of thirst at night.
I usually get it at the counter but when I got it for home delivery they always arrived on time if not early.

INEDIBLE Pizza.
Dough totally without salt, burnt on the bottom.
Big disappointment.
Change of management? At the checkout guys I've never seen before.
A tip: taste what you sell.

12/09/2023: Everything is great about this restaurant that we visited several times, but always when visiting Trieste. If I had a dinner somewhere else, I would go for second dinner in Mascalzone.
I remember Rocco, the owner, who looks like Mancini, and the staff that was always on top level.
Nice, warm atmosphere and above all very tasty, simple food, prices normal.
Recommendation.

14/07/2024: Sono un affezionato cliente da molto tempo secondo me rapporto qualità prezzo miglior ristorante della zona peccato il servizio un po' scombinato e la fredezzae un po' scorbutica della " capo cameriera"
07/07/2024: Ho dato 2 pallini per "merito" della cameriera bionda (quella senza occhiali) perché è stata di una maleducazione unica solo perché abbiamo chiesto se c'era del posto fuori per sedersi a mangiare. Svogliata e con modi arroganti, eravamo tentati di andarcene. Se una della sua età che fa questo lavoro è già stufa di farlo, è meglio che si trovi qualcos'altro che non abbia a che fare con gli esseri viventi. Io lavoro da quasi 30 anni a contatto con il pubblico e non mi sono mai sognato di trattare così il cliente, anche perché è proprio lui che ci fa arrivare il denaro in busta paga (e potrei citare innumerevoli situazioni dove il cliente meritava di essere trattato male).
Per il resto, cibo nella media, niente di eccezionale ma avrei dato comunque la sufficienza se non fosse stato per la persona citata sopra.
