17/09/2025: The food was delicious, with excellent king prawns, a fantastic tartare, and wonderful salmon.
The waiters were friendly and welcoming. We arrived when the tables were full, and the waiters gave us time to peruse the menu without being overbearing. We left full and satisfied.

05/10/2025: The food was good and plentiful, the service was kind and attentive. At the end of the meal, sweets and limoncello were offered. I only gave it three stars because I found it really expensive.
04/10/2025: VERY generous dishes, good quality, but generous and good don't always coincide. Prices are high for a humble worker like me, but understandable given the excellent service. The speed with which the dishes arrived amazed me; the kitchen must be very powerful.

12/09/2025: When I say cheeseburger, I want it stuffed with cheese, not just a slice. It's not bad, but it's interesting. There's a lot of bread. And the diavola pizza was so small.
Lots of paprika.
They were stingy with the mayo and ketchup.
I'm not saying this to give the restaurant a bad reputation, but because it was amazing. I'll order the sandwich again, but with less bread and more cheese! The waitresses are very kind.

11/10/2025: A positive experience. Excellent beer, well-tasted, and excellent pizzas. Super light and fragrant dough, excellent selection of ingredients, carefully crafted and of the highest quality. To top it off, an equally excellent tiramisu and a Slovenian grappa.
My colleagues tell me it's one of the best pizzerias in the city. I think it's true.

28/09/2025: We visited twice, both times for lunch. Since the pizzeria is located right on the Alpe Adria Cycle Route, it's always very busy at lunchtime. And even though they assume that most tourists only come once, they make a lot of effort. The service, in particular, was incredibly friendly on our visits.
24/09/2025: I've had lunch here twice. The restaurant is very busy during these times, and it's hard to get a table right away. I really enjoyed the food, and the staff is friendly, even when there are a lot of customers. The ambiance is very simple and rustic. The prices are reasonable.

12/10/2025: Great restaurant. We really enjoyed our dinner there. The home made pasta with veal and the cut of beef were particularly good. Be aware of the large portions.

13/10/2025: It's not Neapolitan pizza, but it's delicious. You'll be transported back a few years, but it's recommended for that reason too.
08/10/2025: Simple Italian restaurant. Full of locals and not many tourists. A good thing. Tasty pizza dough. Better than the food was the vibe from a happy local restaurant.
We stopped while detouring into Italy while road biking towards Slovenia. Impressed to see local hot shot road bikers stop here as well. Plus mothers with daughters. Fun time!

15/09/2025: I went there on a Sunday evening (when there weren't many seats, I'm inclined to point out) for a pizza, after a long time since I'd been there.
Nice location, modernized since the last time I was there, friendly and helpful staff.
They also have lactose-free mozzarella, another plus, which unfortunately, in 2025, there are still places that don't have it...
That said, waiting 40 minutes for three pizzas (not just our table) seemed really excessive.
The noise was ridiculous, and we couldn't talk.

16/08/2025: I've been going to Gianni's pizzeria for years, bringing friends, family, and colleagues because the service and quality are excellent. The fact that it's always packed proves this.
Those who hadn't been there have been very satisfied, and some have become regulars. The service is familiar, as you're served and advised with great kindness. The rotating gas oven is a touch of attention and modernity, along with the quality of the ingredients, making for an excellent pizza that never goes back, even in the evening.
