16/02/2026: On Sunday, at 6:00 PM, I ordered a takeout pizza for 8:00 PM. I arrived 20 minutes early, hoping they'd make it right away for a single pizza. At 8:10 PM, seeing nothing arrive, I asked the lady at the cashier for an explanation, and she told me they were making it. After another 5 minutes of waiting, the same lady very candidly told me they couldn't find my order and asked me again what type of pizza I'd ordered. At that point, disappointed and bitter, I left... Anyway, on second thought, even the best can sometimes make mistakes...

19/01/2026: Hidden gem that's mostly visited by locals. The food is delicious. I had the bruschetta and the pasta tricolore which was full of flavour. It's a shame I didn't discover this until the last day of my trip. Would definitely recommend.

04/03/2026: When I'm in Lignano Sabbiadoro for work, it's my regular stop... I prefer the off-season, it's quieter for us seasonal workers, in peak season there are long lines which means the food is good and they are very well organized, therefore efficient and fast, always a guarantee....

01/03/2026: Fast service, despite the full dining room and the line outside. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The food was generous for the price. The restaurant was well-maintained. I highly recommend it. The only downside is... they don't take reservations.

07/03/2026: A welcoming place, you feel like you're part of the family, so much so that sometimes I ask Carmela what delicious things you've made? It's as if I were asking my mom. Delicious 7-grain pizza, the restaurant is also good. The tomato sauce is top-notch. Fabulous tiramisu. Thank you all, Salvatore and Manuela, Carmela and Federico. And thank you to all the staff.

20/02/2026: We had a great time, the place was very large and clean. I appreciated the cotton tablecloths, not the paper ones (which many people use nowadays). We had pappardelle with venison sauce, which were very good and plentiful, and the pizza of the month with porcini mushrooms and pumpkin cream. FANTASTIC. The staff were friendly and made you feel at home. PS: Two small flaws: the bread that came with the pasta was burnt, and a little less oil on the pizza would have been appreciated. Anyway, I highly recommend it. We'll be back. Thank you all.

26/02/2026: Birthday lunch, with the same menu for everyone. We ate really well! Zucchini flan, vegetable crepes, San Daniele pasta, pork cheeks. Everything was delicious, with just the right portions, neither too small nor too large to make it to dessert... Everyone was very satisfied. The place was also excellent (warm, no one was wearing a jacket!) and the service from the friendly waiters. Highly recommended! The pizzas, which we once ordered for takeout, were also very good.

We were welcomed as if we were family, and the host is super kind and attentive. 21/01/2026: We decided to stop at Pizzeria Pontafel because it is located very close to the highway exit, making it an incredibly convenient break during our road trip. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming team. The staff was polite and attentive throughout our entire visit. Meals arrived quickly without feeling rushed. The food itself was really good and offered. A huge plus for us was gluten-free pasta options, which can sometimes be hard to find while traveling. As for the logistics, we street parking available nearby, so we didn't have to spend any time searching for a spot. The atmosphere is cozy and much more pleasant than a standard highway rest stop. Overall, it was a great experience with top-notch service that made our journey much better. If you are passing through the area and looking for a quality meal, I highly recommend a stop here.
