13/03/2024: Pizzeria al Borgo ..it is located in Piazza Borgonuovo 8 ..in Novellara and is always open and closes at 10.30pm. This is a point of reference for those who know the area well and I recommend it to those who don't know it yet ..it has a room welcoming and family-run and on nice days you can also eat outside. Here you can eat excellent pizzas fresh from the wood-fired oven, prepared with excellent top quality ingredients. Here you can also find excellent appetizers, delicious first and second courses all based on meat or fish together with vegetable side dishes or salads...plus a vast selection of both local and national wines and at the end of lunch or dinner bitters, nocino, and even coffee arrive. Prices are more or less normal depending on what you eat, ranging from 10 to 20 euros with pizzas plus drinks, 30 or 40 euros with lunch or 40 to 50 euros if you go for basic dishes. of fish .

19/03/2024: Pizzeria easy to reach, has a large car park, nearby there are large green fields with lots of bunnies. The pizzeria is large with many tables, and the pizza is very good and well seasoned, I liked it and I recommend it.

19/03/2024: We spent a pleasant evening at the Saloon restaurant-pizzeria in Castelnovo Sotto, renowned for its pan pizza, a typical interpretation of the deep pizza. Outside, the place recalls the atmosphere of a typical American saloon, while the inside is large, with tables decorated in a slightly retro style. After a few minutes, a waiter showed up to take our orders and we all opted for the pan pizza. As time passed, the place filled up quickly, with many people coming in to order take-out pizzas. We waited about half an hour before being served. The pizza turned out to be tasty, with a well-cooked and leavened dough, fresh and generous ingredients. Despite the thicker consistency than traditional pizzerias, the pizza was light, easy to enjoy and very digestible. Furthermore, the restaurant also offers pizzas in the classic format. The service, although a little slow due to the crowd, could improve, as some of the young waiters seemed to still be learning. If you want to savor this type of pizza in a quiet atmosphere and enjoy an excellent meal, the Saloon is the right place for you, although it is advisable to improve waiting times and the preparation of the waiters.
