15/07/2025: After a few days, I'm writing a review for this place. I'll start by saying that I'd dined there before, and for better or worse, the dinner had been good value for money. But this review isn't about that. This dinner was absolutely unforgettable, not so much for the pizza but for the treatment I received from the staff, especially the lady at the cash register. The evening began with the waitress taking an order for about 20 pizzas, each one marked down individually. After about an hour, all arrived except three, which arrived about 40 minutes later, after everyone had already finished dinner (these pizzas had clearly been forgotten). I received no apology for the delay. In one of these, there was a problem, which I had mistakenly reported only at checkout, in a very calm and polite manner. The result? A verbal attack from the cashier, in a high-pitched voice, making me feel uncomfortable in front of other customers...never in all these years had something like this happened to me! Are you kidding? How dare you say to a customer things like, "If you don't know what's on pizza, read it (shouting)" or "It's your sour mouth, not our products" or "We don't want you here anymore." Saying these things to a customer who pays you, and what's more, your salary is unacceptable to say the least. I will certainly never set foot in this restaurant again, as requested, and I strongly advise against dining here if you're a large group looking to celebrate and have a pleasant evening; if there's a problem, you'll find yourself arguing and ruining your evening! The situation could have been resolved very simply: by talking. By attacking a customer, you immediately put yourself in the wrong. If I were you, I'd be ASHAMED! Under no circumstances should you address a customer this way, NO ONE!

14/07/2025: Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience. The staff was rude and arrogant, clearly disrespectful toward customers. This alone would have left a terrible impression. We waited over an hour for pizzas that turned out to be completely ordinary, nothing memorable. During service, there were several errors, both with pizza and drink orders. When we politely raised the issue, we expected at least an apology or a small gesture, but the exact opposite happened. They responded aggressively, using offensive expressions like "arrogant" and inappropriate comments like "look at those faces." This is truly unacceptable behavior for anyone who works with the public.

27/07/2025: Ormai ci veniamo da tanto da Antonio ed è sempre una conferma, la pizza è la migliore in zona, ingredienti sempre freschi, la pizza sembra di non mangiarla, digeribilità al 100%. Ormai non ho più parole. Passate a provare la pizza di Antonio e ci ritornerete di sicuro. Toppppp!!!!!!

08/07/2025: MOLTO MOLTO BUONA Tra le migliori pizze e panzerotti mai mangiati in tutta Italia. E sono uno che l'Italia la gira in lungo e in largo. Ottimo anche l'antipasto di prodotti tipici pugliesi. Una pizzeria che consiglierei ad occhi chiusi ai miei corregionali che in fatto di pizza ne sanno più dei napoletani. P.S. non prendetela molto condida, perché Antonio poi esagera 😁 Il mio voto è 5 pallini, solo perché non c'è il sesto.

20/08/2025: Extremely disappointed with the mid-August lunch. We've been going to this place for years for fish and pizza... but maybe it's time for a change. The price was very high, and the food wasn't all good. The mixed fried fish was beyond comment. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We've always had good food in the past.

16/08/2025: Super friendly service and delicious pizza. We had gluten-free pizza for the first time and were thrilled. The terrace in front of the restaurant is very airy and fresh, perfect for this heat. And most importantly: only Italians and no tourists, making it an authentic family restaurant.

12/07/2025: Staff is not friendly to foreigners. Food is ok, Pizza is good.

30/05/2025: This is my first time going to this place. The pizza and mixed fried food were very good, the sorbet was excellent. Very fast service. Friendly staff. I finally found normal prices. Rustic atmosphere. We will be back soon.

07/07/2025: I wanted to tell the managers to improve the organization because it is a beautiful place. All the staff but also the owner really top. Come on guys you are almost there. Very good pizza

01/07/2025: The rooms are very beautiful in rustic style with wood and stone. The pizza is very good but the 'kitchen' menu is a bit poor. The costs are, in my opinion, higher than normal. The nearest large car park is a few hundred meters away

12/03/2025: The deep pizza is not bad, on the contrary. Perhaps some were a little undercooked. The tomato sauce was delicious, but I can't say the same about the cheese, which could be improved. The service was very friendly, patient and attentive. Convenient pickup. Overall, not a bad option.

27/06/2025: Great pizza. They don't serve you at the table but you can sit down and eat the pizza cut into slices. The pizza style is home-style, with great dough and great toppings.

05/06/2025: One of the best pizzas I've had in all of Parma. The food is completely homemade, and the staff is friendly and hardworking. Highly recommended if you're looking for a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere.

15/07/2025: I've been coming to Al Faro since I was a child; my parents always took me there. Now that I'm a mother, I go with my daughter and husband: it's always a joy to return together. Every time we return to Parma, Al Faro is a regular stop. The pizza is simply the best I've ever eaten in my life: top-quality, perfectly cooked, with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The service is impeccable, the staff is incredibly kind and always smiling. The place is fantastic, welcoming, and meticulously cared for down to the last detail. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. For me, Al Faro remains the best pizzeria in the world.

23/07/2025: Nice place with a lot of variety of food. This is not a "gluten free restaurant" but they offer pizza with gluten free base.

19/03/2025: Fixed menu after an event, very good ravioli and obviously Parma cold cuts. In the morning coffee in a paper cup which I deplore.

21/08/2025: I'd never been here for dinner, even though I live a few kilometers away. I went last night with two friends, and for me it was a pleasant surprise. The welcome was warm, the service attentive and friendly, the appetizer of mixed cured meats with torta fritta was excellent, the paella was well-made and generously portioned, and the house sparkling white wine and digestif were a nice touch. The atmosphere was quiet and very pleasant, the price was more than fair, and I'll definitely be back. Well done! 👏👏

02/07/2025: Now a regular stop for me every time I return from Milan before entering the Cisa. I have never tasted their famous pizzas because I take a nice take-away sandwich without booking a table (it is always full so I assume it is practically mandatory to book). Their custom-made sandwiches are exquisite, and as I said before, they make the place a fundamental stop on my way back home...

12/02/2025: The squash stuffed with house sauce is unsurpassed! The first courses, second courses and pizzas as well as desserts are also excellent. Everything, in short. Better to book but absolutely worth trying (it even rhymes 😊)

06/06/2025: Funghi prugnoli con le uova strapazzate. Un classico di stagione accompagnati dall'ottimo Lambrusco di Cerdelli. Vino uova e funghi a km zero. È si sente. Come al solito prezzo corretto. Comodo il parcheggio

20/07/2025: Seafood pizza with obviously not-so-fresh fish, overcooked, probably to hide the flavor. Almost all the mussel and clam shells were crumbled onto the pizza. Only the crust was good. Perfect if you've never eaten good seafood.
