Al Fornello In Parma

I'll start by saying that I'm celiac, so it's always difficult to find a place to eat, especially pizza; they accommodated my request here. I had a pizza with gorgonzola, caramelized pear, and walnuts, which was truly delicious; and with their own homemade dough...so it was absolutely homemade, and considering there were two of us, it wasn't very expensive. The only downside that might be a problem is the small parking lot, so you might find your car blocked by another (luckily, that didn't happen to us). But otherwise, it was excellent.

Really nice place, very large parking lot, good pizza, only flaw (personal opinion, very serious waiters, a smile would be appreciated.) Overall a very nice quiet welcoming place and I repeat very good pizza.

Excellent pizza, very warm summer patio for lunch. It's definitely a wonderful place for dinner.

With the change of management I have not found the service and food better

The restaurant is a historic pizzeria in Parma, fairly close to the city center with ample parking. It's a very large place, with a large summer terrace, where I often go for lunch with the €15 Business Menu, which includes a first course, second course, water, wine, and coffee. All this in a beautifully appointed location, with tables set in plush fabric. Nothing to complain about. The service is professional, attentive, and fast. Very efficient. Since it's a business lunch, they make sure the dishes are brought out quickly. The Business Menu includes a couple of first courses and a couple of second courses. Limited selection, but good quality. Plus, you can choose something else if you like. The pasta with meat sauce was good and plentiful. The cutlet with fries was chicken, well-fried and not greasy. I'd say it's absolutely recommended. Prices are like a trattoria, but the location and management are like a restaurant.

The seafood lunch was truly delicious! The appetizers were something special! The service was excellent, attentive, and extremely friendly!

I'm not giving it a 5 because the white truffle doesn't have the meringue grains on top.
