13/09/2025: Nice place, but the welcome and service weren't up to par. The pizza wasn't anything special, quite the opposite. I thought a place with a wood-fired oven would make good pizzas, but the crusts were almost frozen. Unnecessary rudeness. Too bad.

08/09/2025: Congratulations. First, the price is appropriate for the portions; they don't skimp, knowing that customers will remember them and return. Second, the atmosphere and service, both excellent. Third, and no less important—in fact, I think it's what matters most—is the quality of the products. Finally, a place that deserves respect, one of the few remaining, not just in the region. Don't change anything, because that's the only way to secure long-term customers.

02/12/2025: Pizzeria with contemporary cuisine in a modern and relaxing atmosphere. Pizza with a thick crust and well-topped toppings: truly delicious! The restaurant has a couple of rooms and an outdoor patio. Prices are average for gourmet pizzerias.

30/11/2025: The waiters were very nice and friendly. The place was nice and well-kept, but we were very cold throughout the dinner. The pizzas didn't live up to our expectations; they were dry, poorly topped (the Modena had no parmesan shavings, and the Pompei had excessively cold stracciatella), and the pizzas got cold quickly. We did enjoy the desserts, however, although the bill, which, without wine but only a bottle of water and a Coke, was too salty...€62 for two (two squares of mozzarella in carrozza for €8.50).

29/12/2025: Zero stars Terrible experience. The food was decent, but our entire team felt ill immediately afterward. We're not sure if it was food poisoning or a virus, but the fact remains that we all had problems after eating here. Such a situation is unacceptable. Safety and hygiene should be the priority. We won't be returning, and we don't recommend this restaurant.

14/10/2025: Paolo is a sure thing, first courses, second courses, pizzas, soups, minestrone, etc. etc. He can't go wrong.

08/06/2025: Excellent restaurant, excellent service. It's true that in Reggio Emilia and the surrounding area, it's hard to find good alternatives, but here you finally find quality, service, and peace. Very well-kept location...I recommend both the meat and fish menus. Well done!

19/11/2025: I've tried several pizzerias in Modena, but since I discovered Pizzeria dal Pugliese, I can only recommend it to everyone. The pizza is truly amazing. The staff is friendly and polite. The prices are super fair (which in other places, when you order 4 or 5 pizzas, it's like going to a jeweler). And the service is really fast. So, highly recommended.

01/02/2026: The pizza itself is good, the problem is that my family and I found two hairs in literally five fries we ate, so I don't know how many more there could have been. The fries were poorly fried, and the mixed fried fish wasn't very abundant. Regarding the food, I only recommend the pizza for takeout because the pizza itself is good. I didn't like the service because the waitresses were uninterested and the waiters didn't seem very knowledgeable. Furthermore, the bill was given under the table, with prices that I thought were out of line: $75 for a half-meter pizza, a Coke, two waters, and a fried food seems too much, but maybe I'm wrong. As for the atmosphere, we were in a corner near a sensor door and near the bathroom, with a constant flow of people going to the other room. I'm sorry because the pizza is good, but I won't be back.

24/02/2026: The pizza is really good! We usually get a white pizza on the menu that comes with onions, spinach, and ricotta. We add cherry tomatoes. It’s so good! We used to get the pugliese also a lot which is great too. My only critique is sometimes the dough can be a little tough and others its soft. Not sure why the variance if it’s do to with the hydration of the dough or how fast it’s used but most times the dough is perfect. We order this place at least once or twice a month. The cream puffs are good also.

06/02/2026: I'm sorry, but the tomato-based "sausage" pizza is disgusting, rubbery, and tasteless. Definitely awful. Don't bother with the pizza if you really want to dine here. I spent the whole night with heartburn and extremely slow digestion, a sign of the poor quality of the dough and ingredients used.

27/09/2025: I stumbled upon this pizza place by pure chance. I was drawn to the ambiance and a smell I'd noticed out of the corner of my eye while walking by. I stopped for dinner and... what a surprise. I ate a pizza unlike any other. Definitely good and worth trying at least once. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back. It'll be my go-to.

16/11/2025: The tripe was excellent. The croutons were a little too strong in flavor for me, but that's probably just my personal taste, but the tripe was really excellent.

02/09/2025: We had dinner the first night we arrived at the residence next door. The staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately I can't say the same about the food... well-presented but a bit bland, and the biggest flaw was the place being infested with mosquitoes. Not only did we spend the evening killing them, but I even found them on my plate from how many there were... I didn't have a great first evening. Personally, I don't think we'll be back.

22/08/2025: The place itself isn't bad, but I certainly wouldn't choose it again. We ordered four pizzas and, while waiting for them, asked for two portions of fries to share. The fries arrived almost raw, having been eaten out of hunger. The pizza is considered as thick as a piadina. So, if you like heartier pizzas, look elsewhere. Two of the pizzas we ordered were seafood ones. Having had excellent ones elsewhere, we decided to try them. Never was a bigger mistake. The fish was still in its shell on the pizza, which, once removed, left a paltry amount of toppings, which, on mine (a white pizza with mozzarella), took away all the mozzarella. They were certainly beautiful to look at, but in reality, they weren't mediocre. The other two pizzas were decent, certainly better than the two with fish. They brought bitters to the neighboring tables at the end of the meal, except for us. I wouldn't have drunk them, but the service should be the same for everyone. To top it off, once we got back, we saw we'd been charged for another bottle of water we hadn't ordered or drunk. €2.50 for a 1-liter bottle of water, unnecessarily charged. We didn't go back because we would have spent it on gas, and honestly, it wasn't worth it. The night after dinner, three out of four people at the dinner felt sick. I don't think it's a coincidence. I'm not giving 1 or 0 stars only because I tried a small portion of the menu.
