29/11/2025: It's a real shame: the Succivo location seems stuck in another century. I find it absurd that you can't reserve a table on Saturdays. In the cold winter, endless lines form and you're forced to wait for hours, causing enormous inconvenience to customers. Management like this really discourages anyone from returning.

28/11/2025: We found "Il Brigante" while researching dinner options during a weekend in Piedimonte Matese. From the atmosphere to the food, everything was perfect. The place is truly welcoming and unique, reminiscent of a medieval tavern, and the food is equally as good. We had a meat dish (skewers and steak with fries and grilled scamorza cheese), which was truly delicious. Vegetarians also have plenty of options, despite the menu featuring many meat dishes: various combinations with scamorza cheese, bruschetta, and side dishes! They also offer pizza, which we'll definitely try next time. In addition to the dinner, the staff are all incredibly nice, and an added bonus is the beautiful view when you arrive at the restaurant! Highly recommended, we'll be back!

02/10/2025: I have to make a new one, I've been going there for years when I'm on holiday in Italy, but from Sunday I won't go there anymore, for a pizza 2 hours of waiting is not great table service, the ashtray requested was not brought, if one is too full on Sunday at least have the customer at the table.

19/08/2025: I went to this pizzeria with my boyfriend and we ordered a Margherita and a Capricciosa. The pizzas were crooked, with a very generous crust, so much so that we wondered if the pizza chef actually knew how to roll out a pizza properly. The result was far from satisfactory. Furthermore, the prices have increased significantly, and considering the quality of the experience, the value for money is completely unjustified. We won't be returning, especially since there are much better pizzerias in the city.

28/12/2024: Terrible service! We came across this business because it was inside the living nativity scene of Sant’Angelo. We wanted to get 3 pizzas a portafoglio from the stand they had set up outside. There was only one pizza left; the guy didn’t offer to give it to us, I thought he was going to leave it in case a boy came along and wanted just one so we decided to wait. Shortly after, a lady who clearly knew the clerk arrived and asked for two pizzas and some fried food. The clerk then suggested that the lady take the only pizza she had while she waited for the other one, gave her the fried food and made her pay. Not thinking it was fair, I pointed out to him that we were there before the lady. The guy replied with a resentful and surly look that the pizzas would arrive quickly and would be enough to serve everyone and that I could rest easy. At that point I pointed out to him that he had offered the only remaining pizza to the lady and not to us who had been there first; his reaction was to provocatively ask me if I wanted the lady's pizza and offered to give it to me (I don't know if he was thinking of snatching it from her hand or what) not understanding his mistake in the slightest and offending me with that proposal. Then when a guy from the pizzeria let me know that in the oven there were pizzas for the inside tables and that only after those would they make the ones for the outside counter we left. I strongly advise the place to only focus on the outside stand next time and not try to make fun of, and treat, the customers with respect. We are not locals and we immediately noticed that he let his acquaintance go ahead. A truly terrible figure.
