14/06/2026: Octopus as an appetizer, pre-cooked and reheated upon serving.
Risotto alla pescatora: the seafood left much to be desired, and the shrimp were frozen.
The waiters were kind and welcoming; the person serving us dropped some mussel shells on the table as they cleared the table and decided to throw them on the floor.
The bread served was not at all fresh.
An unpleasant experience, the prices were high and definitely not up to par with the food we received.

18/04/2026: Honestly, there are better places. The waiter was quite rude and sneaky. He said there is not wine glasses, only bottles, but in fact he served two glasses to the table next to us. The food was was ok, not great, and in the end the bill was inflated. Tourist price!

07/03/2026: The food, service, and atmosphere were terrible. It was cold inside, and we were offered a choice of dishes, including some rather nauseating fried fish. The portions were tiny (when we asked for second helpings of fries, they were almost counted), and the fish seemed almost raw. The staff was almost always rude. This was definitely an experience we wouldn't repeat. It's worth noting that we were kids on a school trip who had to spend the entire afternoon walking.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon for an aperitif, which consisted of a slice of mushroom pizza (without asking us if we had a preference for flavor), a Coke Zero in a glass bottle that was poured into a glass and then left the excess, which didn't fit in the glass served to me, in the bottle of Coke that wasn't served with the "aperitif" but was kept for him, and a crodino, all for €9. It's probably their habit to keep a quarter of a bottle at a time, so as to have a bonus for every so many sales.
25/05/2026: I had a terrible meal, rude staff, inedible food, they should remove "pizzeria" from the name because that was anything but pizza, they literally kicked us out, it's a shame they can't give 0 stars!!!

06/04/2026: It's a disgrace... attacking a person because he politely asked to use the bathroom... Change jobs if you don't have the courtesy to inform a customer that the bathroom is clogged... The owner is absurdly ferocious... You should be grateful if on a particular day your business is attacked because it is the feast of the Madonna dell'Arco... Shame

29/01/2026: A nice sit down location before taking a tour of Pompeii. Had a quick sandwich for fuel, it was fine.
23/01/2026: The place is very pleasant. The covered terraces, perfect for keeping warm during the winter, offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The food is remarkably good, arriving quickly and piping hot, made with high-quality local ingredients that allow you to experience authentic Campanian cuisine. International dishes are available for children. The service is excellent. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a restaurant located next to such a popular tourist attraction.

17/05/2026: Unfortunately, they're aggressive in their sales, an approach that ultimately becomes annoying and uncomfortable. There's no value for money.
29/04/2026: The staff were very pushy. I was completely ripped off. The tout offered me fresh fish for lunch, and given the prices on the menu, I didn't ask. The sea bream was very good, but the bill was exorbitant: 80 euros for fresh fish. Have a good holiday!

10/06/2026: We were part of a tourist group that had the €20 set menu. However, we were not informed of what to expect. We received no menus and had to listen to the choices verbally, which was a challenge as the waiter spoke broken English (still many times better than my Italian). I was given the option between two types of pasta, and at no point made aware there would be a side dish or dessert. It maybe a good idea to give future customers a small set menu (print out) they can read and see what they will be recieving for lunch to avoid confusion.
The food in general was o.k, but not really restaurant quality. I was unable to eat the dessert and offered a fruit salad, which I accepted. It arrived and was 2 small slices of melon.
I know this place has a high turnaround of customers from the Pompeii tours, and they have to do their service at speed, but it just feels lacking and poor customer communication.
It's in a great location and could be a great restaurant if they just addressed the problems in the comments.
