19/07/2025: Mi pareja y yo visitamos este restaurante dos veces durante nuestras vacaciones en Terranova el Sibari, y no podíamos recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. La comida se cocina a la perfección, y el personal es muy profesional y acogedor. Si te gusta la comida mediterránea, este lugar es sin duda una visita obligada!

27/12/2025: Everything was truly excellent. The lagane with chickpeas was delicious. The Calabrian antipasto and grilled cheese were also delicious. Just be careful, it takes you a little further on the map.

The menu offers some interesting options, but the quality of the dishes has been inconsistent.
01/02/2026: We ate very well, the products were fresh and excellent, with a view that was nothing short of spectacular, the waiter was kind and friendly, I would always return to this restaurant, recommended to everyone also for the quality/price ratio.

13/09/2025: We had hot appetizers (a small bowl of sautéed mussels and 5 half-mussels au gratin with 2 fried anchovies) and cold ones (seafood salad, so-so; 4 half-marinated anchovies; 2 slices of marinated tuna and 3 pieces of marinated salmon, so-so, supermarket-quality...) for €17 per person... the location alone is truly worth it!! With water and bruschetta, a total of €41!
Most of the tables were booked, which encouraged us to eat at 7:30 PM! 🥴

I’m traveling the world, and as a foodie, I truly appreciate good-quality food, great service, and attention to detail. I’ve been to Italy many times before and was often disappointed by the pizza — but this pizza finally ticks all the boxes! It was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have had! And the tartufo… simply divine.
With all that said, the prices are very fair for the quality and experience. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough — it’s a real gem in Calabria!

14/02/2026: We were a group of friends heading home, further south than Belvedere, and we trusted the positive reviews. It was all true!
The pizzeria was clean, even the restrooms (it felt like home, and it's not easy to find them like that everywhere). The staff was incredibly kind:
They welcomed us with a tomato bruschetta, which was much appreciated.
Pre-pizza: classic French fries with their skins on were plentiful and delicious, but the real highlight was the pizza.
We weren't expecting it: HUGE pizza, thin, crispy, and cooked in the oven (in full view).
Highly recommended pizzeria! Kudos to all the staff and owners!

25/08/2025: Had dinner at the end of October 2025. Excellent pinsa, exquisite staff (super professional waiter), in the center of San Demetrio. If you don't try this place, you're missing out. A piece of Calabria to treasure in your heart. I returned in August 2025 and can say with absolute certainty that the place and the products have even improved. Great Bakero!!!

09/03/2026: What can I say...I feel at home at Calypso. It's a restaurant run by the wonderful Daniela and the great Stefano, who are very attentive to their customers' satisfaction. All the staff are extremely kind and attentive. The cuisine is sublime. Every time I go, they always manage to amaze me. The fish is incredibly fresh and the quality is top notch. I highly recommend stopping at Calypso for a wonderful culinary experience with a stunning view of the Belvedere Marittimo waterfront.
07/03/2026: Spectacular dinner!! The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection: you could really taste the hand of a chef who knows what he's doing. Each dish was carefully crafted, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The service was attentive, fast, and always with a smile, which is no longer a given. We felt welcomed right at home. A special shout-out also goes to Stefano, a very kind and helpful person, who manages to create a truly pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. If you're in Belvedere Marittimo and want to eat fish prepared properly, this place is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back!

14/03/2026: I was here for the first time on Thursday.
My 20-month-old had a blast.
There's a special area for toddlers up to 36 months, full of games including a ball pit. Plus, he was able to go to the adults' area, accompanied by me, of course.
We also had dinner there, and the pizza was delicious, and my son loved the patatas mbacchiuse.
The staff were friendly, and the girls supervising the kids were super attentive.
What can I say... it was a wonderful afternoon and evening, and we'll definitely be back.

09/03/2026: We were with friends over the weekend and discovered Giovanni's restaurant. He welcomed us without a reservation, simply calling to confirm it was open. His helpfulness and hospitality were comforting and engaging. The food was excellent, and we especially appreciated the authenticity of the ingredients—everything from the appetizers to the first and second courses was excellent. The place is surrounded by nature and features a fireplace. These elements, along with Giovanni's stories, made us feel right at home. Furthermore, at the end of lunch he surprised us with a tart that tastes like Grandma, Mom, and home. Kudos to the chef!

The owner and location are top notch! The owner was incredibly kind, we had a wonderful lunch, the food was excellent, and we felt at home like we hadn't felt in a long time. The value for money was incredible!!! Thank you! I recommend it to everyone!
