08/02/2025: I have known this place for several years and when we have the opportunity my wife and I happily travel 30 km to reach it and enjoy a good pizza in a location with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. And in summer it offers a place outside where you can often enjoy pleasant fresh air to spend pleasant evenings. A guarantee, never a disappointment.
11/01/2025: Terrible service and non-existent organization
We were very disappointed with our experience at this pizzeria. The pizzas arrived early, while we were still eating the starters, creating confusion and inconvenience.
Subsequently, when we asked to order dessert, the waiter practically kicked us out of the place, abruptly informing us that the table had already been booked for the next round.
We felt very pressured and mistreated, as if our presence was a nuisance.
Such poor service completely ruins the dining experience which would not have been excellent anyway.
We absolutely do not recommend this place

20/02/2025: This is a comfortable and unique place for a meal. The house wine was nice. The staff was helpful in picking out a flavorful pasta dish with peppers Crusco and Caciocavallo cheese. We were easily sold on desert when told the ice cream was made in house and came with a whiskey caramel sauce!

Cibo prelibatissimo dalla pignata alla Materana “servita in coccio” allo stinco di maiale alla birra rossa e per finire uno stupendo baccalà alla materana con pomodorini freschi, capperi e olive.
Beh che dire ….
Vi hanno accolti con molta eleganza, ci hanno accompagnati in questa avventura di sapori particolari e gradevoli al palato. Ogni ingrediente era al suo posto e ben dosato.
Esperienza unica da rifare altre 1000 volte

18/11/2024: Excellent traditional local restaurant offering typical local products, without confusion, excellent food, courteous owners, kind and patient waitress, normal prices.
Externally you can easily find parking spaces for cars and motorbikes.
Conclusion: it would be great to find the availability of a tourist menu, it is recommended to everyone.

25/03/2025: We discovered this fantastic restaurant on Saturday for lunch with friends.........A combination of refinement, raw materials and preparation by the chef and the wisdom in the narration of the courses and in the wine recommendations by Salvatore make the experience and the place unique in the area. Quality and tradition come together in a marriage of harmonies for the palate that evokes the past and tradition of Lucania, allowing you to immerse yourself in a journey (tasting exceptional appetizers) of superlative food and wine. An experience to try and I recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

02/04/2025: Excellent pasta dishes with salami, cheese and local vegetables, not only the wine, very simple and genuine from the Matera and Lucanian tradition, with a fixed menu or à la carte. Both the service and the place are good.
31/03/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center, welcoming and very kind staff. Tourist menu at a very competitive price, today as dish of the day I was able to choose an excellent legume soup with cardoncelli mushrooms and an excellent meat stew. Highly recommended.

18/03/2025: Truly exceptional! Starting from the outside, a beautiful place, spacious and well-kept. Plenty of parking. Well-kept place, clean and tidy. Kind and quick staff in preparation. Really excellent and abundant food! We struggled to finish everything! Honest and fair prices. I will definitely be back! Recommended.
05/03/2025: Fantastic pizzeria, at the entrance there is a beautiful illuminated rose window very characteristic of Matera. The environment is very colorful and cheerful. We were welcomed and served by Valeria, a truly kind and professional girl who was able to give us the best advice. We ordered some delicious friselle prepared by them, a very tasty carpaccio, a very generous hamburger sandwich with a side of chips, a normal pizza and finally the fantastic ice cream affogato with cream. Very fair prices, we will definitely return. I recommend it to you.

We were in the village for a short stay, fantastic welcome, everyone was super kind and friendly, food beyond expectations!
Small tip, try all the starters, they are exceptional, the first course with crusco pepper is delicious.
If we are passing through or in the surrounding area, Il Caminetto will be our fixed stop!

27/10/2024: Cena di fine campagna AIB con 25 persone, prenotazione per una base di pesce ed un vegetariano super prenotato (io!). Ho ricevuto una particolare attenzione e le stesse portate degli altri ospiti, antipasto ricco e vario senza zucchine grigliate (evviva!), cavatelli profumati con peperoni, cubetti di zucca e dischi di zucchina; parmigiana, tortino di patate, broccoletti stufati ... tutto molto buono. Gli altri 24 ospiti che hanno mangiato a base di pesce hanno gradito abbastanza le loro portate ma non mi sono sembrati entusiasti.
15/10/2024: It was enough to be honest and say that there weren't the necessary ingredients to complete the dish instead of making us wait a long time and then saying that the mistake was on the order, after all, sincerity always pays off!

At first, we were a bit worried—the doors were closed, and the lights were off... but the food completely won us over! It was absolutely amazing! The owner, Nikolà, was very welcoming, and the seafood dishes were the best we've ever had. Highly recommended!

01/01/2025: I was completely satisfied with my experience at "Ristorante di Fiore". From the moment we entered, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home. The staff was extremely courteous and professional, always available to satisfy every need with a smile. The service was quick, but never made us feel rushed. Moving on to the food, each dish was a true masterpiece. The raw materials were very fresh, and you could clearly feel the attention paid to the choice of ingredients.
18/11/2024: La qualità dei prodotti era ottima ed il prezzo corretto. Ottimo per belle tavolate, visto l'ambiente molto grande e posizionato su un bel posto. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, complimenti, tutta la vostra zona con la vostra cortesia ed il vostro paesaggio, merita tantissimo, inoltre sapete trattare bene i turisti sia con i vostri prodotti locali, sia per prezzi giusti che offrite.
