17/08/2024: The hotel's location is excellent, but it would be enough to write a poem. Everything was arranged in the least worst way. Week from 10 to 17 August. Let's start with the room with air conditioning that was dripping from the first day, we had a room with two rooms and out of two air conditioners only one worked badly, the other was practically a hot fan. Defective bathroom drain, sliding shower door that miraculously held up and came off 3 times and the shower head that leaked everywhere with a hook that didn't hold anything. We were 3 adults and 2 little girls, one of whom was a newborn for whom a cot had been requested but never arrived and we found a double bed, a cot and a 20 cm high sofa bed. Little balconies with the air conditioning motors placed inside that didn't let you step outside otherwise you risked being melted in 2 seconds if the latter were in operation. The room wasn't even clean on arrival because when it was cleaned there was a huge difference compared to the previous day. BREAKFAST: everything very super basic with nutella and off-brand cereals, the only positive note was an artisanal donut, milk and drinks from a vending machine that would freeze every now and then. LUNCH AND DINNER: two first courses, two second courses (a fixed pork loin in all the rooms), two side dishes (one of which was an inedible salad), fruit (watermelon 5 days out of 6) and even leftover bread. There was a bit of everything to drink, but everything especially drinks like Coke, Fanta etc. which were just water and sugar. COVERAGE disposable tablecloths changed only 1 day because it was full of ants. ENVIRONMENT there was an internal air-conditioned room and an external one where we suffered from an absurd heat, air conditioners that didn't work and fans too and yet we all paid to stay but the tables were the same and they couldn't be changed. STAFF kind and helpful who didn't know how to justify certain situations... rightly it didn't depend on them!!! Zero entertainment only on August 15th a DJ with a speaker at the entrance of the restaurant with deafening music that they could have avoided both at lunch and dinner. The choice is yours, and as another user said in the reviews I read, forewarned is forearmed!!!

23/09/2024: The lady who welcomed us was a very nice and easy-going person, we came across it by chance and it was a pleasant surprise, a simple place, excellent octopus appetizer and plentiful little guitar, the mussel souite for 1, 2 of us ate there, advised

23/01/2025: Very very good!! The location and food were very satisfactory!! Clean establishment and attentive to the smallest details!! Well maintained facility with every type of comfort and vast choice of food!! We were with friends who don't particularly like fish but here they had to change their minds!! Excellent quality raw materials carefully prepared by the chef!! Dishes that are pleasant for both the palate and the sight...particular attention to their composition and experience ensure that food is also a very, very pleasant culinary experience!! All accompanied by a truly pleasant environment... you can eat almost on the beach and the view is remarkable!! All these things put together make this property truly offer a great experience!! Definitely a place where I would happily return 🙂

22/09/2024: The establishment is good and above all it offers entry for dogs, which unfortunately not everyone in Pescara does! The sea water itself is ugly, unfortunately in Pescara there is no beautiful sea but an excellent establishment for spending a relaxing day (perhaps accompanied by our 4-legged friend 🐶😍) under the sun

22/03/2025: How come I didn't read the reviews first! The only positive thing I'd say is that it's open off-season and the service of the young waiter. They got our beer order wrong (they brought a larger one than we had ordered), and to avoid a fuss, since the owner was already arguing with the waiter, we asked him to leave it for us (so we wouldn't spill it and get another one served). The worst thing is that they charged us for a large. A nice gesture from the owner would have been to charge us only what we ordered. If I say the burgers are average, I'm being generous.

04/03/2025: We had dinner this weekend in this pub, on the occasion of a weekend in the snow, what can I say is a bit expensive for a place, or perhaps it is dictated by the fact that all of Roccaraso now has quite high prices, there were two of us and we ordered a mixed grill of meat each, two beers costing 0.50 each, some side dishes with chips, potato croquettes and Ascoli olives and a margherita pizza to split in two, around Euro 45.00 per person. The place is welcoming, comfortable and easy to reach as it is in the center but the prices need to be reviewed a bit. For the rest, impeccable service, courteous and helpful staff, nothing to say, in fact, the place also has Sky which also allows you to watch the matches if you are a football fan.

02/03/2025: The portions of chips are decreasing and the prices are going up.... Whatever 🤦🏻‍♀️ Of course, chips are a takeaway luxury, but the old portions were much more generous... you increase the price... that's fine... But you don't lower the quantity so you fool people!

18/01/2025: do you want to know the latest? get ready. I ordered a takeaway pizza, the margherita with chips on the plate, when I get home I open it, I find oregano (I've been ordering pizza from Panarea for years and years, but I've never found oregano on the margherita), moreover the chips are burnt and very small, the pizza is also very small, they get worse every year. Wait for the last one, they always made it for me to take away again, they didn't put chips in it, I was shocked, I will never order a pizza from this pizzeria again, and when I say never again it's never again. I understand why the number of people from Panarea is decreasing more and more.

21/02/2025: I went to this pizzeria without high expectations, but unfortunately the experience was below average. The environment is rather modest, without particular attention to furnishings or atmosphere. The service was decent, but not enough to make up for the shortcomings of the food. The toppings on the pizzas and focaccias are passable but nothing exceptional The real problem is the dough: the pizza arrives at the table hard and difficult to chew, making every bite an unpleasant experience. A shame, because with a better base it could improve a lot. A curious detail concerns the wine: a "presumed" house wine is served in bottles that arrive at the table already opened and which bear labels of fine wines. A choice that is perplexing and certainly does not contribute to giving an impression of transparency. Overall, I would not recommend this pizzeria if you are looking for a real pizza-related dining experience. With some improvements on the dough and more consistency in wine management, it could earn a better reputation.
