Even the simplest dishes, when prepared by them, take on a unique and surprising flavor. The service and value for money are also excellent. Highly recommended!

The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and professional, making our stay pleasant. The ambiance was meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. We will definitely be back!

18/10/2025: Excellent local cuisine. Exceptional pizza with wild mushrooms and truffle—intense yet delicate flavor, a true masterpiece! It took me to the stars, as if I were at Campo Imperatore. Perfect place for family, excellent desserts, and a fireplace inside.
16/10/2025: We had a good pizza by the slice; I liked the Nduja and eggplant flavors. The dough could probably be improved, but that's just the way it is. We both felt that our two small, very calm dachshunds, although allowed at the table with us, weren't exactly welcome. We sat at a table surrounded by other empty tables, and the two of us were comfortable. But when another couple sat down at the table behind us, they immediately suggested we move away from the table to "be more comfortable." But we were comfortable, so why??? This incident will definitely affect my chances of returning to this pizzeria.

08/02/2026: Three stars for the place, which is a bit small and the loud noise doesn't help much. Otherwise, everything is delicious, from the appetizers, the cured meats, the cheeses, the excellent first courses, and the tasty second courses. The dessert experience is heavenly, delicious, and unforgettable. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it.
01/02/2026: A well-maintained restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view of Rocca di Cambio. The food is excellent, starting with the Rocche antipasto, which offers not only uniquely flavorful cured meats and cheeses, but also hot dishes. The first courses are also delicious, such as the polenta with porcini mushrooms and truffles, a true revelation. The lamb shank, too, was a first, with an intense yet delicate flavor. And to finish, the desserts included a delicious apple tart, the Scomposta, and finally, a proper tiramisu, with excellent flavor. Aside from a small mix-up during service, I can say we had a wonderful time and are sure to return when we're in the area again.

30/01/2026: The pizza, Ascoli olives, and fried cheese were all delicious. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. It was Saturday, and the wait was a bit long because the place was packed... they probably need to be better organized in this regard. We'll be back to give it 5 stars.

03/03/2026: We were six comrades, former Carabinieri Auxiliary Cadets, who after 40 years met for a reunion in front of the "Rebeggiani" Carabinieri Barracks in Chieti Scalo.
While strolling on the evening of the 27th, we noticed this restaurant and chose to dine there. It was an exceptional gastronomic experience.
We tried the Abruzzo arrosticini, grilled lamb, pappardelle with mushrooms and truffles, and much more.
Everything was delicious.
The staff was friendly and very helpful, the place was welcoming, truly a comfort zone.
Excellent value for money.

03/12/2025: We went to Don Miguel last night before the movie and had a really good time. The place is clean, well-lit, and seats about twenty inside, while there are no tables outside. The pizza selection is extensive, including unique and unusual flavors (like carbonara, bacon, etc.). The turmeric dough is a real treat: the pizza was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and very flavorful.
The prices are fair, and the staff was professional and friendly. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. The location is good, practically on Piazza Garibaldi, although parking right in front is impossible because it's close to the roundabout and parking is limited.
Overall, a positive experience and really good pizza.

03/02/2026: Even though you have to travel a bit to get to the restaurant, it's definitely worth it. Impeccable service: fast, friendly, helpful, and above all, very professional. The restaurant is modern yet classic, yet very welcoming. Excellent food, from the appetizers to the pizzas, the arrosticini, the tagliata, and the desserts, which are truly excellent. Overall, remarkable value for money. I'll conclude by saying that I've been here several times and they've never disappointed me. A wonderful place, keep up the good work!

11/01/2026: I've been coming to the Birreria for eight years now, and it's always a pleasant experience. The Villa Celiera arrosticini are excellent (I recommend the Thursday meat tour) and the local craft beers are excellent. The service is top-notch, with the girls working at a mile a minute. Always open, a guarantee.

04/01/2026: La Baita a Scanno is an excellent restaurant to stop at after a day spent in nature. Lunch was delicious and of high quality, featuring traditional local dishes. The arrosticini, in particular, were excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and truly delicious.
The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making the experience pleasant and relaxing. It's a recommended place for anyone who wants to sample Abruzzo cuisine in a family atmosphere.
