The seafood spaghetti wasn't well seasoned, there were only three mussels, and the prawns, like the calamari, were peeled and frozen. 11/04/2026: I overestimated them. It took me over an hour to eat a pizza at a sidewalk table. Friends of the waiters arrived and ate before my girlfriend and I, even though they were seated half an hour after us. The takeout pizzas were on their way in the meantime, and the people sitting down had to wait. A truly awful evening. The waiter who looked after our table was mortified, but he didn't fix anything, and could only say, "Sorry, we had a problem with the oven." Unfortunately, we only have one oven... Yes, but from what I see, you have plenty of friends... Never again! Thank goodness you're not the only ones making pizza in a hurry. Too bad...

26/04/2026: The conservative opening hours of Milan’s more traditional eateries became only more stringent post covid. MILAN eats early and it is not uncommon that a restaurant closes its kitchen as early as 10pm. Last night was the last of seven of Milan Design week. On leaving an event at 22hrs we walked the dark MILAN streets hungry and in need of rest. We called in to all and many restaurants along our way only to me met with the unwelcome and increasingly familiar “chiuso’ - we’re closed - delivered across the full spectrum from polite and friendly to just rude! That is until we came to.… PANE & TULIPANI! To say the the staff here love their job and welcome you with infectious enthusiasm is an understatement! Not only were we welcomed in, at damn neat 23h by the time we reached them, it was a full welcome with no feeling of haste. Our water was incredibly personable and informed. He suggested puntarella with anchovies that turned out to be finished! We switched to the delicious artichoke only to be surprised when he arrived triumphant with a plate of punteralla they had quickly whipped up for us.… And on the house! On most first nights in italy i crave a simple plate is spaghetti pomodoro ( tomato sauce) … it was not on the menu last night yet, without missing a beat, our waiter made the dish happen for me while sharing his love of that simple dish. Our dinner remained simple.. Two plates of pasta, vongole and tomato, a glass iof white wine and a great derivitave of grappa from Piedmont our waiter insisted we discover. Despite the hour we never felt rushed. The whole experience was superbly typical of a Milan of yesteryear that thankfully lives on. Thank you and congratulations to all of the team for an unexpected experience of great food and welcome. The cherry on the cake was that I left my jacket behind and only discovered it when we had just reached home. My brother turned back to walk to collect it.… only to meet our waiter who had come half way to meet him!!! BRAVO PANE & TULIPANI!!!

30/03/2026: I discovered this pizzeria thanks to a friend, and what can I say? The pizza is excellent. The owner is very kind and welcoming. You can also eat in because the pizzeria has a few tables available. I also recommend it for those who, like me, are lactose-allergic; they have lactose-free ingredients. Really top-notch. I recommend it.

14/02/2026: A truly warm and welcoming place. Very kind and polite service. After a reasonable wait of 15-20 minutes, we ate excellent Peruvian food. After the obligatory mopping up of the plates, we left our plates practically clean 😜. Generous portions and excellent prices. Highly recommended! Compliments to all the staff.

14/02/2026: Looking for a last-minute dinner, we stumbled upon this place by chance. It was fully booked, but there was a table available for at least an hour, so we decided to stop anyway, not knowing where else to go at that hour. We were greeted and served with such kindness. We ordered chicken, tacos, vegetables, and potatoes. They were truly delicious and well-prepared, offering new flavors. If we return to Cortona, we will definitely book a table in advance to enjoy other dishes. Thanks to the staff for welcoming us at the last minute.

26/03/2026: Good food, tranquility, courtesy, fair prices, I wrote just a few years ago... Today, years after the first hasty review, 7 years have already passed since then I feel... and when for a long time I had already frequented the place with brothers, relatives and friends, and today I feel and it seems right to update that first review: I begin by saying that they are always nice, attentive and helpful, it is a place I love, tranquility and a wide air in that environment, the food perhaps not starred or award-winning, but always good and with good quality products; and they always have a special eye for my Billà, my dog ​​caregiver who has been my life companion for years. They know it and cuddle her every time, it's the thing I appreciate most, so I feel like thanking them publicly because it's not for everyone, other places frequented for a long time, for this reason, since our pets are not even accepted, with signs posted saying no to the request, they haven't seen me for a long time.. (Or rather they don't see us, since I'm usually never alone and those who accompany me share choices, ideas and sacrifices, I have special relatives and friends, and I'm proud of it! If I'm alone, however, I plan to go back home for lunch if I really don't have to stop around, being always conditioned by that four-legged caregiver of mine, so thanks to those who support me.. and also put up with me, thank you family of Limana Park in this case.. My advice? Stop there peacefully, even for the pizza., it's worth it. 😁

04/04/2026: We ate at Piccola Trattoria last year with the family and again this year just the two of us. We were thrilled both times. The pizzas are amazing, with incredible dough, and the pasta is homemade and tastes fantastic. A perfect meal that we can definitely recommend. Friendly service, always courteous and accommodating.
