02/08/2025: In the neighborhood where I spent my youth, I was able to once again enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza. We particularly enjoyed the Neapolitan fried pizza, crispy and dry, and truly plentiful. The service was fast and flawless.

23/08/2025: We’ve ordered for some pizzas. We appreciated the service, atmosphere, drinks, our time. That was pretty good even if it was okay for me for the margherita. I mean it was good but that’s it, nothing more special.

05/08/2025: I had two pizzas from them last Saturday, one was vegetarian and I have to say it was honestly well made, while the other tuna and cheese one surprised me when I opened it at home (it wasn't very attractive aesthetically and in terms of quantity, it was below average). I hope they'll change my mind next time I come back.

22/08/2025: We went here this evening with friends for the first time. Excellent pizza, light dough, and quality ingredients. The service was a shame: the young people were agitated and unsmiling, especially one waiter who occasionally spoke in Neapolitan dialect. In a restaurant that presents itself as upscale, you expect more professionalism... otherwise, it feels like you're enjoying a king's pizza served in the manner of a sports bar.

I'm disgusted by such lack of professionalism. And the look from the waiter, who looked at me like a poor wretch because I wanted the bottle I'd paid for, really made me sick. 04/09/2025: Everything went wrong from the start. They sat us down at the table, and we immediately noticed a dirty glass filled with brown liquid. The waiter was very kind in promptly changing it. We then noticed that the menu included a "tasting menu" option, but no price was listed. Furthermore, once we ordered the two first courses, we had a 50-minute wait for them... and for the first half hour, we were the only customers in the restaurant. The next customers only ordered pizzas, so the kitchen's delay was unjustified. We weren't served anything to while away the wait, not even bread. Just plain water. It must be said that the first courses, once they arrived, were still good. We then decided to order two desserts. Besides the fact that none of the desserts listed on the menu were available, the "off-menu" items served (a lemon dessert and a white truffle) were of terrible quality.

01/08/2025: Everything was delicious. We were pampered and had a wonderful meal. Tasting menu: 2 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, and dessert for €50 per person. Dishes were prepared with attention to every detail, with a unique flavor. I couldn't choose which appetizer was best because they were all fantastic. As were the first and second courses. Fresh, high-quality products. Thanks to the owner and Michele who served us. Kind and professional people. Highly recommended.

09/07/2025: Gorgeous location! We dined on the terrace, poolside, with a breathtaking sunset view. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and available to accommodate all our needs and requests. Excellent focaccia, fabulous seafood. Normal wait times. But above all, the owner was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly kind! We'll definitely be back!

03/07/2025: Sono stato in questo Ristorante, dopo anni che non venivo in Sicilia e conoscendo il posto perché ci venivo regolarmente e sono sempre stato soddisfatto, ci ha fatto anche il ricevimento di nozze mia nipote. Purtroppo devo dire, a parte che c’era una festa di compleanno con molti invitati, siamo rimasti male sia per il servizio, completamente assente, eravamo in 3 in un piccolo tavolino proprio a ridosso del festeggiato. Detto questo ordiniamo una bottiglia di vino rosso e un the freddo per mio figlio. Passiamo alla cucina una cosa che nelle peggior trattorie non si mangia così, Mio figlio ha preso una pizza tonno e cipolle di scarsa qualità, io e mia moglie due tris di affumicati, a parte l’inpiantamento, su un piattino e con salmone tonno e spada uno sopra l’altro, neanche separati per gusto e di qualità molto scadente e salatissimi. Passiamo ai secondi io ho preso pesce spada all’eoliana niente di eccezionale, metà lasciato e mia moglie una tagliata di tonno con quattro foglie di rucola e del parmigiano sbriciolato, ma il tonno era talmente salato che era immangiabile che praticamente e rimasto nel piatto. Nessuno che si preoccupava di passare e chiedere almeno se andava bene. Dopo una mezz’oretta che avevamo finito e lasciato sul piatto la maggior parte del mangiare e nessuno si è degnato di sparecchiare la tavola e con mio figlio che voleva ancora un the, ma nessuno si avvicinava al tavolo, sembravamo dei fantasmi, al che ho trovato la prima cameriera e gli ho chiesto il conto con ancora tutto sul tavolo. Poi al momento di pagare ho fatto le mie rimostranze al proprietario che per sua discolpa a detto, “poteva chiamare il cameriere” ma erano così presi che ci passavano davanti anche chiamando e gesticolando che non ci sentivano. In conclusione bruttissima esperienza.

15/09/2025: An evening with friends at this historic Lucca restaurant, which used to be my Thursday lunch stop with schoolmates in the early '90s when it was called "Fratelli Bandiera"... and a lot of water has passed under the bridge, and I've found the place much improved!! But above all, kudos to the people who run it—I don't know their name, but at the cash register, like the person who churned out pizzas, focaccias, calzones, and more...and also to the staff serving tables, all welcoming, friendly, helpful, kind, and quick. The cooked focaccia and mozzarella and cecina were very, very good. Wait for me, I'll be back soon! Katia

13/09/2025: Excellent food in a beautiful square shaded by plane trees. What more could you ask for?! I was in Lucca 4 years ago and am returning today. When I thought about what to eat, I immediately thought of coming here. The platter is truly excellent, just as I remembered it!
