04/11/2025: Returning from a hike above Lemie, we chose this bar for our post-trip ritual. The easy parking spot on the main street of Viu, practically in front of the bar, is worth a mention. Furthermore, by taking advantage of the limited space between the street and the bar, the owners managed to create space for a few tables! The interior isn't particularly stylish, but the atmosphere is quiet and conducive to the inevitable post-hike chatter. The service is quick and friendly, and the beer selection is a bit limited, but all good quality. The hot snacks served with the beers are fantastic, and the hot chocolates and coffees are excellent. The dessert section is noteworthy, with displays of cakes and pastries, as well as other products on sale (beers, spirits, sweets, etc.).
Highly recommended!

25/08/2025: Luca welcomed us during the Hannibal Maeatona, a race we were participating in. It was like being hosted by family. He was incredibly kind and willing to offer us breakfast at 4 a.m. on the day of the race. He even cooked us polenta and wild boar (delicious) upon request. Homemade, healthy, and rustic cooking; exceptional breakfasts with his jams and mountain butter. The rooms are very welcoming and the location is enchanting. We had a wonderful stay; Luca was truly wonderful. We will definitely be back.
25/08/2025: Traveling with friends in August. Very quiet place, dinner and breakfast with locally sourced, top-quality products. The host was always attentive to our requests and available for anything. We even purchased their homemade products, like honey and jams. We'll definitely be back!

01/02/2026: We went here today for lunch after a morning in the snow. The place is gorgeous and the food is very good. We were just a little disappointed with the roast beef with potatoes: 1 small slice of ham and a small handful of potatoes for 16 euros! But the first courses and polenta were more plentiful and delicious! Another negative note: we asked for plain pasta for a 4-year-old girl and they charged us 10 euros, so it's not exactly cheap.

02/01/2026: The staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. It was a shame about the long wait, the cold dining room, and the owner's rudeness to his employees. It wasn't pleasant to watch. Furthermore, when paying, we weren't allowed to pay separately, except in cash.
02/01/2026: Unfortunately, I don't recommend it; it's a tourist trap. It's expensive, the atmosphere is very cold, and the service is rushed. Prices are moderately high, and the manager appears friendly but is actually quite rude. If you want to split the bill, you can't pay by card.

12/07/2025: Ho soggiornato in questa struttura, usufruendo di un voucher del Consorzio Valli di Lanzo. personale simpatico, forse anche vista la scarsità di presenze, assai vicino al cliente. Cucina davvero invitante, con il solo imbarazzo della scelta, e a buoni prezzi; riguardo le stanze soddisfacenti, con l'unica pecca di mancanza di asciugamani; per il resto classico rifugio per una vacanza davvero riposante.
15/06/2025: servizio lento poco personale cibo tradizionale lasciamo perdere vitello tonnato uno dei peggiori mai mangiati ....

13/05/2025: Per caso fermato per una pizza. Ottima accoglienza, luogo gradevole, pulito, rustico e moderno, sevizio impeccabile e gentilezza. Ottima pizza prosciutto e funghi e birra artigianale. Da ritornare per provare anche la cucina. Complimenti e grazie a tutto il personale.
06/03/2025: Dopo una giornata di lavoro, decido di staccare la testa, farmi una pizza vicino casa in tranquillità
. Ci passo sempre per strada, ma non ero mai stato qui. Locale carino, accogliente e molto pulito. Personale gentile, marito calabrese, cuoco e moglie marchigiana/napoletana. Pizza buona veramente, carbonara con guanciale uovo, pomodoro, pepe e pecorino romano. Peccato l'impasto che oggi gli è venuto un pò duro, ma si è schifato. Dolce classico con cioccolato ed amaretto...... 👍 Diciamo bene.... Solo i prezzi un attimo da limare, diciamo 2/3 euro complessivamente di meno e direi perfetto. Provatelo.... 👍 🇮🇹 ❤️

09/05/2025: Spinto dalla curiosità di positive recensioni, debbo esprimere una profonda delusione per un'esperienza assolutamente negativa, più simile a quella di un pessimo rancio di caserma. Quantità del cibo abbondante ma qualità pessima e rozza. Sia io che la mia compagna abbiamo avuto seri problemi di digestione. Auguro a tutti, esercenti compresi, che la mia triste avventura sia un caso sfortunato e irripetibile.
22/04/2025: Siamo andati "per fortuna" in seguito a disdette di Pasquetta!! Per me non era la prima volta, ma posso confermare che è davvero un posto che è diventato RARO trovare!!! Si mangia divinamente alla "piemontese". Porzioni super abbondanti con la possibilità di replica ed il servizio ai tavoli è attento e cortese. Non vedo l ora di ritornare, magari quando farà più caldo vista la possibilità di pranzare all aperto..SUPER CONSIGLIATO!
