28/09/2025: Four of us came in, asking if there was room. The answer was no, without even checking. I pointed out the several empty tables, and they apologized and let us sit. They brought us a menu with ready-made dishes (toast, piadinas, etc.), so we decided to order some, but the reply was that the kitchen was closed, but the menu was the same (that doesn't make sense, but it's okay). After serving us drinks, we at least asked for fries to go with it (we would have paid for them, no problem). They arrived with a Lilliputian-sized bowl that was supposed to fit all four of us (I've attached a photo next to a glass to illustrate the proportions). Throughout all this, the girl who served us always seemed quite annoyed. I will definitely never set foot in the restaurant again. Response to the manager: Good evening, I assure you that some dishes were listed on the back of the menu (if I remember correctly, something with porchetta), otherwise I wouldn't have asked the waitress for anything to eat (including the paltry portion of fries). 08/02/2026: I really liked the place, a good selection of beers, the platter we ordered was very satisfying both in terms of quality and quantity, the staff is courteous and helpful, highly recommended.

10/01/2026: I called them to book for Monday but they're closed (not from Google). I wrote a comment on Facebook to point it out, and they also told me I'd been told something else (I didn't hear anything because they closed me immediately after telling me they weren't open on Monday). They also deleted my comment. If you use portals like Google or Trip, THEY NEED TO BE UPDATED. We're not pretending to be restaurateurs, thanks. But then I ask, all the people who will go to this pub this Monday without calling and then find it closed? Anyway, since I didn't like the treatment, I'll leave my comment. The end. Never 👋🏻👋🏻

25/02/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at Gallè in Galliate wasn't the best, especially considering it was a birthday dinner for a group of ten. Although we had booked for a Friday evening, clearly specifying the day and time, upon our arrival, we discovered that the reservation had been mistakenly booked for Saturday. To make up for this oversight, the staff improvised a table outside. However, since it was the middle of July, dining outside without a screened-in terrace proved to be a nightmare: mosquitoes literally attacked us throughout the evening, making it difficult to enjoy our company. The problems continued with the service. After a long wait, the pizzas arrived for everyone except one person in the group. Despite constant reminders to the waiters, the last pizza was served over an hour and a half late: essentially, by the time the last person started eating, everyone else had already finished. It's a shame, because to be objective, the pizzas weren't bad and the prices were fair and not excessive, but such disorganized management of the service and reservations inevitably ruins the evening.

23/02/2026: We had dinner at Gallé and we can confirm it was a very pleasant experience. Careful cuisine, well-prepared dishes, and attentive service, all in a relaxed atmosphere. An important added bonus: the outdoor playground for children, which makes the evening much more relaxing for families. We also appreciated the opportunity to stop for a post-dinner drink right behind the restaurant, without having to leave. An ideal place to go with the kids and enjoy both dinner and after-dinner without too many worries. We'll gladly return.

19/09/2025: I came with two friends on a Friday night and had a great time. It wasn't our first time here, but now that they've hired a new waiter, who's also very young and friendly, we had an even better time! Highly recommended.

06/12/2025: A sad place, without even background music to make the atmosphere more pleasant. Even though we were almost the first to be seated and the place was practically empty, the pizza arrived for everyone (who ordered after us), and for us after over an hour of waiting. Shameful. At the umpteenth table served after us, we were on the verge of leaving, to be honest. I don't recommend it at all because the pizza, even if good, isn't worth this poor service. I repeat, truly shameful. As if that weren't enough, I also found a hair on my plate. I've never seen anything like it.

The pizzas are very good, with options for all tastes, and they also offer delivery. The staff is friendly, and the value for money is excellent. A great choice if you're looking for quality pizza without breaking the bank.

30/11/2025: This is a special place, found by chance; I kept returning throughout my short stay in Galliate. It's unusual for someone coming from a big city; there's an old-fashioned atmosphere. Once upon a time, you'd seek out the excellent trucker trattorias just outside the city center, and this one has something similar, even though it's right in the center: simple home cooking at rock-bottom prices and a friendly couple running it. Unlike the local competition, where you pay for the set menu regardless of what you order, here, if you only eat a first course and side dish (I don't eat meat), you only pay for that. The Torino flag behind the counter is a plus.

13/02/2026: We found ourselves eating at this set menu bar/restaurant at lunchtime Monday through Friday while we were in the area. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the price was excellent. Since it was Friday, they even offered dessert for two, including a first course, second course, side dish, dessert, water, and coffee for a total of €30.

06/01/2026: *DISHONEST*: 01/06/26. Invited by a fisherman friend, I paid 60 euros for 4 hours for the fisherman, 2 hours for me, a card for the friend, and entry with a car. Rightly so, the man didn't give me the card because I wouldn't have gone any other times! When I left, a lady "forced" me to get the card. After 2 hours, my friend came out and charged him 6 euros for my card!! *SHAMEFUL*.... But in a few days I'll go back to talk face to face!! They'll have to explain to me why I didn't need to get a card for a single entry at the entrance, and when I left they forced my friend to pay 6 euros for my card!!

07/01/2026: We ordered two pizzas from this pizzeria and they arrived soft. The toppings were not noticeable. All this advertising on social media, but in the end, the yield was poor. The quality has dropped a lot in recent months. Instead of thinking about making attractive advertising on social media, we should also pay a little attention to quality and service.

24/12/2025: We had a bit of everything, all very generous portions, very rich and fresh salad, chicken wings, chicken bites, chips, crunchy and delicious Ascolana olives, quick delivery, with an infectious smile and cheerfulness, and also a free focaccia and Coke for Christmas Eve, what can I say, we will absolutely always call them!!
