The food is top-quality, the wines produced in the VIVERONE area are excellent and well-matched; the staff is knowledgeable, extremely kind but never intrusive...everything will pamper you!!!! 30/05/2026: Marietta Pastry Shop is gluten-free heaven, a delight for the palate. The tables are cleaned as soon as customers leave, so you won't find crumbs everywhere like at other places. Another plus: they've extended the smoking ban outside. You can enjoy a quiet breakfast or snack on the veranda. Definitely worth a try! :)

07/07/2026: My partner and I happened upon this place by chance and were drawn to the intimate restaurant located in a quiet alley. The staff were very kind, smiling, and eager to chat. We had dinner with an appetizer, first course, and second course featuring lake fish. Everything was excellent, especially the pickled salmon trout (I'm a big food critic 😏). We're not locals, but we'll definitely be back! The quality and price are in line with other restaurants. I highly recommend it!

30/06/2026: A welcoming restaurant with friendly and courteous staff. The seafood appetizer was delicious, as were the scialatielli allo scoglio (seafood scialatielli) (a kind of seafood dish, but a bit on the small side), which cost a generous €20.50. The fried seafood with battered vegetables was also delicious. Overall, we ate well, but the €66 price tag for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, a glass of wine, and water seems excessive.

21/06/2026: The pizza was very good, the place was very small and unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working, so we suffered a lot from the heat. Too bad.

03/07/2026: I returned to Vecchia Arona, and found excellent, beautifully presented dishes. I enjoyed a melt-in-your-mouth fish antipasti and an equally delicious risotto with perch fillets. I finished with a mouth-watering cremino. Definitely recommended!! I'll be back soon.

08/07/2026: The food was great. However, we were charged a €3 per person cover charge (coperto) without this being mentioned beforehand. You're given a tablet as a menu, and we didn't see this charge. The prices might seem reasonable at first, but only without these hidden costs.
