08/11/2025: Let's start with the fact that since we booked for two, they put us in the only place where they kept opening a door, which made it very cold.
I can say that the food was very good! The service was really friendly. Very nice place. Really. Having booked, I expected a better place, considering they set up a table for six in a much more secluded and warm spot for people who hadn't booked!
So I hope this criticism remains constructive for the future customers you welcome.
I personally would like to return to truly enjoy the place without risking the constant temperature fluctuations leaving my stomach full.

30/07/2025: Zero service, not a very friendly welcome, delay in ordering (30 minutes to order and 45 to receive the food) I also worked in catering, the excuse of too full is not a fair clause....

Saluzzo alta is always among my favorite destinations.
The owner of the place, Luisa, is a force of nature, friendly and easy-going.
I recommend it because it has a lot of good beers and a nice food menu.
Super but really super recommended.

A truly wide selection of dishes, and good value for money.
Especially for those who work, the service is quick.
The bathroom (4-star attention!) could have been a little better equipped, which would have made it a 5-star overall.

14/09/2025: Five stars to the lady in the dining room, the restaurant's true highlight, who was already in Barge a few years ago. In the kitchen, the chef's excellent potential struggles to fully express itself. It seems like he's lacking some of his former enthusiasm. Unfortunately, the bill is always on the high side. For a dinner for two (average in terms of the number and quality of the dishes), I expected a bill of no more than €100. What a shame. It's been like this for a while now. We'll give it another try.

20/06/2025: The only real pub in the historic center of Saluzzo! The clientele varies from the youngest to the residents! Good food especially the sandwiches to try at least once! Excellent draft beers! Friendly and very engaging service! Ambience 9! I think I will go back.... too bad it's far from my house otherwise I would always be there!

We had lunch with two glasses of very good wine, superb dishes, and impeccable service. I'll definitely be back with great pleasure!
26/10/2025: Booked a week ago for my dad's birthday, we arrive and the owner tells us that he accidentally cancelled our reservation, okay it can happen, but at least he tries to make amends somehow, instead as if it were normal he apologizes and sends us away.... Unprofessional, be careful if you book call to reconfirm!!!

14/09/2025: We love coming here because we've always eaten well. Tonight we ordered two pizzas. What happened???? The dough was terrible, we only ate because we were really hungry. I was tempted to put the pizzas back on the counter. It felt like chewing gum. Also, the spicy salami was a Romanian-style smoked salami, the gorgonzola was almost nonexistent, and the mozzarella was hard. The kebab pizza was also missing onions.
Your pizzas were usually good the next day, with a light, fragrant dough that was cooked well. Today we were truly disappointed. At this point, I don't feel like risking it again. I'm truly sorry you've lowered the quality of your food so much.

We decided to try it after hearing good reviews about the food.
We arrived around 12:15, took a seat, and so far, everything was fine.
4 decent but invisible appetizers
1 decent first course, but very limited in quantity.
1 good-quality second course with pork
1 truly awful fish second course.
The main problem was the complete lack of a children's menu, so they basically ate a few starters and a little roast pork.
The service was subpar, as there was no logic in the way the tables were served. We felt lost. After almost 5 hours, at 5:00 PM, we finished our Ferragosto holiday. The bill was VERY SALT: 40 euros for adults and 20 euros for children, who barely touched any food. I'm sorry, but I won't be back again!!!!
