21/03/2026: A pleasant discovery on the Barge hill. We were expecting a bar, but instead it's a finely restored restaurant with an elegant atmosphere, an excellent wine selection, and a truly delicious menu with beautiful plating. Congratulations!

07/12/2025: I remembered this bar for its rich and tasty sandwiches and toasted sandwiches and for the kindness of the staff... As for the kindness, there's nothing to complain about, but for the service and the food... we asked for sandwiches and toasted sandwiches with ham, not sliced cheese, but with a choice of real cheese: either Fontina or Tuma... their choice... after a while (the place was half empty), what we ordered arrived, and I think that, unsure of what cheese to put, they didn't put any at all... we tried to find it by dismantling the toast, but we only found ham, or there was so little of it that it was invisible, as was the taste. We had to go and find the sugar for our coffee and get it ourselves... well... the atmosphere is always beautiful and friendly, but, I hope only today, there must have been some problem, despite the owner running back and forth... Let's hope for better next time...

06/04/2026: Not a touristy pizzeria; only Italian is spoken here. However, you can manage just fine with gestures and by pointing to the menu. The service is consistently friendly.
The food was excellent. The pizza, pasta, and salad were fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The prices are fair, and the food arrived quickly. The water was in plastic bottles.
The restaurant is easily accessible on foot from the campsite. Inside, there's a lively, typically Italian atmosphere. It's correspondingly noisy, so if you're looking for a quiet conversation in a more convivial setting, this isn't the place for you. This didn't bother us. On the contrary, we appreciate a bit more energy.
I read in other reviews that things can get a bit chaotic when it's full. This wasn't the case during our visit; everything ran smoothly.
All in all, 5 stars. We'll be back.
28/03/2026: The welcoming staff are young and smiling, the place is well-kept and clean, the chef is masterful and friendly. The food is simple, varied and excellent, even the pizza is very good. We have been several times and it has always been a pleasure. I recommend it.

Accoglienza cortese e famigliare.
Andata con i colleghi di lavoro ,uscita sbronza....quando si sta bene e le ore e minuti scorrono come fiumi di vino di ottima qualità....consigliato? No assolutamente consigliatissimo...grazie del meraviglioso pranzo.

10/11/2024: Siamo stati in questa trattoria una sera al nostro arrivo a Paesana e siamo rimasti contentissimi sia della gentilezza, della accoglienza e della bontà di quanto consumato. Io nello specifico ho chiesto se ci fossero opzioni vegetariane e subito si sono prodigati anche con delle opzioni fuori menú per venire incontro alla mia specifica richiesta. Materie prime deliziose, molte delle quali a km 0 e preparate in casa da loro, con un servizio elegante e gusti equilibrati. Prezzi onestissimi. Consiglio a tutti!

12/10/2024: Cibo eccellente, confezionato con cura, abbiamo gradito tutto, tomini con bagnetto verde, zucchine a modo suo, involtini di melanzane, risotto ai funghi, due assaggi di dolci torta di mele leggera e soffice più sorbetto. Tutto confezionato da Franca Re, Gestore e fac totum del rifugio Bertorello. Il luogo è molto semplice, è pur sempre un rifugio, tuttavia l'atmosfera è molto accogliente. Molto consigliato prenotare prima per permettere al gestore di organizzare gli acquisti.
15/09/2024: Posto molto accogliente ci si sente subito a casa. La signora Franca ottima cuoca e persona veramente a modo e squisita. Abbiamo cenato e pernottato dopo una giornata di enduro. Motociclisti accolti con entusiasmo ed empatia. Prezzi ottimi. Consigliato vivamente.
