You can immediately tell when a person works with passion: the description of the menu was not a simple list of dishes, but a sincere, lived story. The person who welcomed us did not limit himself to presenting it, but did it with the passion of someone who truly loves his job. If you have had the opportunity to do so in your life, you know what I am talking about. Congratulations indeed: the passion is felt, and it shows!

21/07/2025: Che dire, il nostro ristorante ideale della domenica, senza troppi fronzoli ma che bada soprattutto al sodo (la cucina). Abbiamo trovato questo storico ristorante, perso fra le colline del Monferrato casalese ed è stato una piacevole sorpresa. C'è il menu fisso (cosa che io preferisco) ma volendo anche la carta. Si parte dai classici antipasti monferrini (molto apprezzato che la signora passi a chiederti sempre il bis), semplici ma buonissimi (cito la carne cruda di fassona, la frittatina al gorgonzola, le melanzane,...) poi la scelta tra uno dei due primi e uno dei due secondi. In realtà, alla fine, siamo riusciti ad assaggiare tutto: agnolotti al ragu bianco e risotto alle mele, trippa in umido e tagliata (eccezionali) , perché la signora passa a chiedere se si vuole un assaggio (generosissimo) anche di ciò che non si è scelto, stessa cosa per i dolci (alla fine abbiamo assaggiato anche il bonet). Una considerazione sulla lamentela che ho letto relativa al servizio "troppo veloce"; personalmente non sopporto quei posti dove ti siedi alle 13.00 e ti alzi alle 17.00, con tempi biblici tra una portata e l'altra. Va bene parlare, ma lo si può fare anche mangiando, quindi, per me, qui allo sciapa pum, la sequenza e i tempi delle portate sono stati perfetti! Infine, il vino scelto (della zona) era ottimo e i prezzi decisamente onesti. Quindi, anche se veniamo da un po' lontano, ci torneremo sicuramente.

29/06/2025: Da tempo frequentiamo questo ristorante e vorremmo farlo più spesso perché è sempre inappuntabile sia per la qualità della cucina sia per la cordialità della padrona di casa che porta avanti una tradizione di famiglia iniziata tanto tempo fa.

12/06/2025: Takeaway pizza: Excellent quality but they are being clever! Average service Last time they robbed me of €7 for 2 cans of Coke This time I bought the drinks elsewhere but I was robbed differently: for adding very few chips on a single pizza they took €3. Kudos to the cleverness I want to answer you.... The Coke were in cans, the ones that cost €1.50 at the vending machines at most, if they had been in glass I would have recycled them because they are so cute. The pizza with chips was one but you marked down 2. Unfortunately I saw the receipt late, otherwise I would have taken a photo of both pizzas to show you

21/07/2025: I recently had dinner with friends. The outside area isn't the best, but once you get inside, the place is truly beautiful (in my opinion). Clean and tidy. I ordered pizza and dessert—both were delicious, especially the pizza. Simple (Queen Margherita) with excellent quality ingredients. The dough was also really good. The cheesecake was very good; I was a little disappointed because it wasn't a classic cheesecake, so I would have specified that—but it really wasn't a big deal. One girl in the group was celiac; she managed to eat a burger, but unfortunately she couldn't have fries. I understand that's not easy for a restaurant, so I have no complaints. A piece of advice, if I may: keep gluten-free bread, breadsticks, etc. available. Fair price. Service, nothing to complain about. I recommend.

We tried several times to break it, in the end it bounced without breaking, the service was decidedly slow... The bitter, at least the good one, 10 minutes to count 3 things... I would say not to be repeated
