11/03/2026: We arrived at Bar Casale late at night, just as the place was about to close. We were finishing a game of pool, and the bartender, Mattia, who works there, was incredibly kind: instead of sending us away, he waited until we were done, with great availability and courtesy. A simple gesture that speaks volumes about the attention they pay to their customers. Friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lot of friendliness. If you're passing through Sant'Ermete, stop by: places like this are truly worth a visit! 🎱🍻

08/05/2026: Friendliness isn't their strong point; they're full of forced smiles. The place is very beautiful and chic in Casale's "piazza buona," with excellent aperitifs and wines. They've launched into various flavors of krumiri and invented savory ones to attract tourists who don't know the original flavor, but the result is always the same: biscuits, not krumiri. Nothing comes close to the real thing.

27/04/2026: I happened upon it, stopped for lunch, and came away with a box of Krumiri. What do I think? A truly interesting place: elegantly furnished, it doesn't look like a Krumiri shop (and what Krumiri!!!!!) or a bistro. Yet this is so much more: I had the chance to speak with the owner, a friendly man, who said something important, something few understand: "It's better to limit the selection and quantity than to limit the quality of what you offer." It may seem trivial, but it's not! It's the mantra that every business owner, especially in the restaurant industry, should have written on their forehead. And these aren't just words: the culinary selection isn't vast, but the vitello tonnato I treated myself to was something more than exquisite! Not to mention the bread, the homemade focaccia (made in their own workshop...) as well as the Krumiri... truly delicious. For me, an experience to repeat as soon as possible, and for those reading this review, an invitation to try it...

11/11/2025: As a daughter of the sea, I crave fish no matter where I travel for work. Excellent ingredients only need the simplest cooking methods, and this shrimp was a perfect fit for me; it even tasted like shrimp! The fish was cooked to perfection, neither too overcooked nor undercooked, and it showed the Maillard reaction. For dessert, I ordered something like pudding, which was also delicious! The owner and the other staff were very friendly, even though we could only communicate through sign language.

26/04/2026: The first courses were good and well-balanced in flavor (gnocchi and tagliatelle); unfortunately, the breaded mushrooms were soaked in oil. The bunet was good, even if served a little cold.

12/04/2026: The meat is very good, with a wide selection of cuts, and the risotto is delicious. Excellent local red beer.

16/04/2026: Amazing place! From the outside, you're greeted by a beautiful space, and upon entering, you're immediately struck by the friendly atmosphere, as well as the aromas of the meat. The food is top-notch: not just a steak, but an experience. The owner is very kind and helpful, always ready to offer the best recommendations.

14/03/2026: A lovely discovery on the outskirts of Casale's city center! A fairly spacious place with two dining rooms, very friendly staff, fresh and well-cooked food (the burger is amazing!), and reasonable prices. The underground cellar (infernot) is also beautiful, a must-see!

12/04/2026: A great find! The owners are friendly and approachable, yet very professional. We ordered three takeout pizzas, and they were delicious, with a light dough and quality ingredients. We'll see you again very soon! Highly recommended!

11/06/2026: I've been going to Jesolo for over 40 years and remember Zio Berto from a completely different time. Back then, the kiosk was located up on the meadow next to the Hotel Cambridge and the old Villa Elsa. The parents ran it with great passion, and later their son took over and transformed the beach kiosk into a true institution. For many regulars, a visit there was simply part of every holiday. That's why I regret the changes of recent years so much. Since the next generation took over, I unfortunately no longer find the atmosphere to be what once defined the Italian dolce vita for me. The staff often seem arrogant, the music is very loud, the prices have risen significantly, and the seating has become cramped and uncomfortable. This is, of course, just my personal opinion. But as a long-time regular, I find it particularly sad when a place with so much history and wonderful memories loses its original charm. It's a shame about a little Jesolo legend.

08/06/2026: We arrived as four couples (two of whom were already inside) and were rudely turned away with the excuse "no groups" by a bouncer who was clearly obsessed with the spotlight and extremely rude. ​I wonder what the manager means by "group": more than three people is a group? So if a family of four shows up, they won't be allowed in? The paradox is that the day before, under the exact same conditions and with the same number of people, we got in without a problem. It's clear, therefore, that the rules are being applied completely arbitrarily. ​The climax came when a friend of mine pointed out that his wife was already inside, and the bouncer's response was: "Go inside and get her, then take her away." An unspeakable statement, which only demonstrates a pointless exercise of power. A terrible way to engage in tourism and hospitality.
