22/05/2025: We had spotted the place one Sunday a year before and couldn't stop because it was full and we hadn't booked. During a trip to the lake on a random Wednesday we didn't miss it and I must say we had a good eye. Very good appetizer of local cold cuts and cheeses, to follow I threw myself on homemade pici and I must say they were spectacular, and my husband on the grill which he enjoyed very much. To finish in style tozzetti and vin santo😜what can I say ..... We recommend and will definitely be back, there are so many things we still have to try. Compliments also to the lady who welcomed us and kept us with sympathy, thank you.

18/05/2025: Appena fuori le mura di Castiglione abbiamo cenato in questo angolo di cortesia e buon cibo. Accogliente e caldo, pasta fatta in casa e selvaggina tutto ottimo. Vasta scelta di vini... fatevi consigliare da Agnese...perfetta padrona di casa. Grazie ci torneremo!

09/05/2025: I was in the area and stopped for dinner with a colleague. Well-kept place, quick and extremely courteous staff but above all an excellent menu and truly excellent dishes. The gnocchi with scampi and truffle cream were superb and plentiful. Definitely a place to return to as soon as I'm in the area again.

10/05/2025: Great secluded house. Very quaint and cozy. The food is just fantastic and delicious. As if mom were cooking in the kitchen. Waiter speaks very good English and is very friendly when dealing with guests. Without a reservation it will be difficult to dine here on the weekend. However, the waiter quickly cleared a small, cozy corner for us and we ate and drank deliciously

04/05/2025: A restaurant with a unique view in the Tiber Valley, a kind and well-trained staff, Chef Enzo with his skill, kindness and professionalism combined with his starters, first courses, second courses, desserts, etc. really make the difference, you can really feel the quality of the product served, I truly recommend it wholeheartedly

16/05/2025: wonderful location that reminds me of some 80s restaurants that wanted to completely break away from the typical conventional decor. two rooms inside and tables outside. the owner is very knowledgeable in his work and gave me good advice. at the end of the dinner it was nice to have a chat with him. entree low temperature egg with a flute of bubbles. appetizer with crescione, salami and pecorino. then green tortelli and for dessert tiramisu. everything simply exquisite. to drink two glasses of Sagrantino di Montefalco. coffee and Calvados. the price is consistent with the quality and preparation of the ingredients. absolutely recommended. One kilometer from the Ponte Pittole exit on the E45.

01/05/2025: The place is very nice, modern and elegant at the same time, having also preserved the historic walls and vaults. The restaurant is run by young people with equally young, but efficient and trained staff. The dishes are prepared with attention and attention to detail. The raw materials used are also of excellent quality, the meats come from one of the best local butchers. Well done and congratulations. Keep up the good work, we will definitely be back. To be recommended with eyes closed!!!

07/05/2025: It's difficult to find Mangiavino because there is no advertising sign to draw attention to it. Even standing right in front of the inconspicuous house, you don't expect what's inside. Once you've finally found your way in, you'll find a well-kept ambience that suddenly brings relaxation. You eat with good jazz music and you just want to stay seated and not leave! The menu is small but successful: bravo!

25/04/2025: The service was very kind, there are no flaws in fact... you go to a place that isn't advertised, without much advertising and you expect something else... instead, there are people, the environment is jovial and peaceful, like the surrounding Umbrian countryside, the food is made with passion and art, and I must say, even though the place was chosen by two beautiful Roman groups, and it was quite full, everything was like a flash of light on a miserable day in terms of weather conditions. Compliments go to the chef who has a light cuisine but it shows, made with a choice of elements from his own garden, well done everyone, I will be back

25/11/2024: Ottimo posto vicino a Spoleto. Locale accogliente e caratteristico. Abbiamo pranzato con ottimi piatti della tradizione umbra. Un posto da provare..... il personale è stato affabile ed efficiente. Tutto molto bene.... ci tornerò.

15/03/2025: Peppe's fry shop is an institution in the Borgo. Personally it is a fixed reference. His fried fish are exceptional and his Chianina 🍔 burgers are the best in Perugia. A place where I suggest stopping and eating both during the lunch break and in the evening. All seasoned with the courtesy of Peppe who makes the environment familiar even to the occasional passer-by.

04/05/2025: Chosen as a hotel, but also discovered as a restaurant: it was a very pleasant stay! Hospitable, helpful, comfortable and clean rooms, quality cuisine and generous portions. Convenient location for excursions in the surrounding area: Castiglione del lago, Città della Pieve and places on the lake. I recommend it!
