16/10/2025: Beautiful location, very friendly staff and excellent food!

06/10/2025: We chose Ai Vicoli for our first evening in Trento. Unfortunately, we hadn't noticed that the restaurant didn't open until 7 p.m. and arrived at 6 p.m. Luckily, the attached wine bar, which opens at 6 p.m., was offering a special TrentoDOC Fest offer, so we were able to sample three different TrentoDOCs as an aperitif. The service and food were fantastic. We highly recommend Ai Vicoli!

03/01/2026: The quality of the place is above average. It's a little more expensive, but the food is excellent. The atmosphere is lovely and romantic. Recommended.

28/12/2025: Excellent experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere beautiful, and the food was delicious, fresh, and of excellent quality. We were welcomed with complimentary antipasti. Prices were reasonable considering the quality and ambiance (€60-70 including the first course, second course, wine, and coffee).

The food is excellent, both the fish and the pizza. The pork cheeks are special, tender and delicious. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

26/01/2026: A very nice place, with attention to every detail... the menu is not very impressive, it is made up of a few simple traditional Trentino dishes and fish specialties which are accompanied by exclusively "fresh" pasta.

15/01/2026: We visited this restaurant for lunch during the Christmas period. It was a very positive experience, starting with the restaurant, which is very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The menu is quite limited, which is reflected in the attention to detail given to the various dishes and the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. Kudos to the chef and the pairings, which, while unusual, were very successful. The wine selection is also excellent, and there are some options available by the glass (since the restaurant serves both fish and meat). The quality/price ratio is incredible. Reservations are recommended.

20/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and couldn't have been happier. The place is very well-kept, clean, and pleasant. The waiter was the icing on the cake: welcoming, friendly, and humorous without being overbearing. We had cabbage dumplings and seafood paccheri all'amatriciana: delicious, truly tasty. Highly recommended.

01/01/2026: I'd already been here in the summer for a few consecutive dinners. The pizza was excellent. We returned here on vacation and decided to have, in addition to the regular dinners, also the New Year's Eve dinner. We had gnocchi with speck, octopus, gnocchi with gorgonzola, and steak and chips...all excellent. The desserts were delicious. Superb hospitality. They welcome dogs. Welcoming place. We'll be back since we come here often.

11/02/2026: A restaurant with a good number of seats, both inside and on a heated, enclosed patio. The atmosphere is simple but with adequate space. Ample parking. Friendly and professional staff. The cuisine and pizzas offer a varied and high-quality selection. Service times and prices are average.

05/02/2026: Granted, I rarely dine on seafood at a place I haven't previously visited, they pleasantly surprised me. Nestled in a chic and comfortable setting, with great company and pleasant background music, they immediately made us feel at home thanks to the incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly staff. The real challenge was the quality of the seafood, given that I'm originally from Puglia, and I'm also a fisherman in my spare time. I'm not afraid of being contradicted when I say they took me on a journey straight to my homeland, filled with the aromas and flavors typical of the highest-quality products and attention to detail. If, like me, you truly want to eat excellent seafood in great company, El Merendero is the only choice. I'll definitely be back! Thanks again for everything, 5 stars are truly not enough!!!

11/12/2025: One of the best restaurants I've visited in Riva del Garda. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the interior is absolutely stunning. Anyone who visits should make sure to sit in the indoor garden. I visited in the summer, of course. I highly recommend you try it.

11/02/2026: ✴️✴️ I give this restaurant a perfect 10/10. Everything was great. The food was delicious in every dish, the atmosphere was private and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service.

08/01/2026: The steak was just some random piece of meat. Tough and lukewarm, just like the pizza. All the plates were ice cold. The scampi appetizer, however, was fantastic. Prices were too high. The service was friendly, but that didn't make up for it. I ate better everywhere else in Riva. Stayed 10 days.

17/02/2026: I was here for Valentine's Day, a table for two. The place was full, but since we had a reservation, we had no problems. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, with the place decorated for the occasion. The food was good; the dishes seemed quite sophisticated, with unique pairings. I especially ordered the tagliolini with hare ragù, which I enjoyed, even though it had a hint of flavor that wasn't entirely to my taste. The appetizer, on the other hand, was plentiful, almost filling us up right away. Overall, I have to say it was a pleasant evening!

29/12/2025: Wow, what an incredible restaurant! The food was amazing; I've never had such a big steak! The fish platter was also delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy both inside and out, and the service is friendly. We'll definitely be back.
