20/08/2025: I've been going there for a long time over the years, and it's always a pleasure to see Mr. Luciano welcoming you with warmth and friendliness. The food is always excellent, the service is quick but not rushed, and the atmosphere is relaxing, almost like being at home. The location on the seafront is also excellent. It's a place I'm fond of and would recommend to anyone in the area—it's worth it!

19/09/2025: We tried the average "Fidati di Robè" (chef) menu, which included a starter, a second course, a glass of wine, and water for €25. The first course was good, with fresh fish (not much), the second course was good but similar to nouvelle cuisine, and two bites of cod on mashed potatoes... the fish was excellent, but you might wake up hungry.
07/09/2025: Cannot rate this place enough, we stayed a 5 minute walk from here and really wanted local seafood. They speak very little english but I personally think it added to our experience. I just said give us whatever you recommend, we got a seafood anti pasti which I think came with more than what was on the menu, I then got seafood pasta and my partner the octopus, both STUNNING. they were super patient with us and was happy to speak into our translator. Thank you so much for a memorable evening id recommend to everyone visiting the area!

11/10/2025: Nice place, good food, excellent service but €47 per person for 2 and I underline 2 stuffed mussels (excellent) 1 plate of spaghetti with seafood (good), 1 bottle of Prosecco for 5 and 4 Branca mint seems a bit excessive.

30/11/2025: Super fresh fish, generous portions, and a truly exceptional Gran Crudo in terms of variety and quality. Attentive service, with detailed explanations of the dishes. Excellent value, especially considering it's not on the waterfront. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.
Second visit to Black Out and absolute confirmation: well-executed dishes and consistently excellent fish.
The cacio e pepe pici with fish, the maltagliati, and a rich and incredibly fresh seafood salad are excellent.
A reliable and consistent place, worth keeping on your list.

28/09/2025: During our trip to Monferraglia, we went to this restaurant for dinner.
As soon as we entered, we were a bit perplexed by the quality of the place, given that the chairs and tables were truly old, and the entire decor was dated.
That said, two very polite and kind ladies sat us at our table, and they listed and explained the entire menu to us.
Once the food arrived, we immediately dug into these delicacies.
The classic charcuterie board and the tagliata.
Truly excellent food and excellent service.
We'll be back.

10/11/2025: The pizza ingredients are very good, both in terms of the dough and the toppings. The only flaw is that the pizzas are a bit small. The service is a bit inexperienced but friendly.
The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, suitable for intimate tables as well as for larger dinners.
The bill is good.
30/10/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered two seafood pizzas, but the dough was very dry and, more importantly, the pizza was excessively greasy, so I had to throw it away after just a few bites. It's a shame, because I expected much more.

The first courses were truly awful. The fish was excellent (obviously), but the spaghetti with clams didn't taste like clams. They took them from the kettle, added parsley, and added 8 clams (delicious). A waste of seafood... €18...
Spicy tagliolini: not spicy; eggplant, pecorino, and shrimp, tasteless... €17
2 appetizers, 2 first courses, two coffees: €100...

28/06/2025: The expectations proposed by the site are not met, the menu that is on the site is not the one proposed... the service alas.
After bringing us the menu, they "imposed" us with arrogance, that since there were 8 of us we should all eat the same, because "in starred restaurants it works like this".
After other comments worthy of the "swear word" we ate, good octopus, good tortellini, "normal" seafood spaghetti, duck breast rejected, dessert I personally did not take it but from the look they had nothing to do with those portrayed on the site.
Bottle of champagne brought without having asked for it, of quality. I don't know if we paid for it, because they didn't show us the bill, at the cashier they told us it was €40 per person! I expected more, but perhaps they assumed they had to make amends for their attitude.
NB at the time of booking they absolutely did not mention the fact that since there were 8 of us they would "propose" a fixed menu to us. There were about twenty people so I don't think it was a request due to the wind.
01/06/2025: We came for dinner and booked by phone, the guy seemed very kind and put us in a secluded place.
A place so secluded that he forgot about us. For each course an eternal wait (we took two mixed grills, two glasses of wine, a water and a dessert for a total of €90) after the infinite wait they didn't even do the part of offering a bitter for a mix-up)
... moral: good food, not abundant courses, kind but unprepared staff... to be improved

Le pietanze di mare sono di altissimo livello,l'estetica dei piatti e perfetta,l'accoglienza veramente unica,gentilezza e professionalità distinguono questo piccolo locale Lunigianese. Lo consiglio vivamente.
19/04/2025: Ottima la qualità della pasta utilizzata e le proposte ma i frutti di mare belli solo all'apparenza, le vongole sono rimaste quasi tutte chiuse e i muscoli nel piatto veramente piccoli e secchi ottimi invece i gamberi. Frittura discreta per quantità, sufficiente per varietà e asciuttezza, buoni i due prodotti. Location nell' interno carina e buono e cordiale il servizio, vino della casa di qualità media.
Sicuramente in questo ristorante si puo' mangiare meglio mangiando alla carta e azzeccando il piatto ma il contributo di riferisce ad una sera e a cio' che hanno portato. Prezzo medio e soddisfazione media.
