Hotel Hermitage Ristorante

11/06/2025: Spent two amazing nights at Hotel Hermitage in early June with my friends! The hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and breathtaking. Upon checking in, we were upgraded to the sea-view suites with two full bathrooms each! The rooms are clean and bright, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the authentic vibe and rich history of the island.
We were pleasantly surprised to find that beach chaise lounges I reserved my room numbers, so there’s no need to head to the beach early in the morning to reserve your spots and there’s no worry about anyone taking your chairs if you leave the beach and come back later. To our relief, chairs are always assigned to you by your room number.
There are four restaurants in the hotel, as well as a beachside lunch menu. We tried all four restaurants and ordered food to the beach, and not once were we disappointed. The food was excellent with some delicious and exquisite local staples, and the breakfast buffet was rich with lots of variety and healthy selections, as well as gluten-free options. The pool bar offers some excellent drinks too with sweeping views of the sea.
The staff is extremely professional and courteous, promptly and accommodating, our needs and requests, and offering tips on where to go and what to do. They also have a full service spa should one feel like getting any treatments.
I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking to spend some relaxing time on the beach in a beautiful laid-back Italian seaside setting with magical sunset views. I’m grateful for the wonderful time we had there and the amazing service and treatment we received. The owner Gian Luca is attentive to his guests, making sure everyone is enjoying their time at the hotel. I would gladly go back there with friends or family.
11/06/2025: Located on a white sandy beach w beautiful, crystal clear water. Amenities galore, tennis, paddle, golf, water sports, hiking trail….
We tried all 3 restaurants and they were all magnificent ( food quality, service, and amazing views).
Looking forward to returning again.

24/04/2025: Op basis van de commentaren gekomen niet teleurgesteld . Het meisje van de bediening werkte haar eerste dag maar deed het heel goed en was supervriendelijk . Eerst antipasto czldo di mare en cozze alla marinara , daarna orecchietti alla pescatora en spaghetti alle vongole , daarna een gedeelde suggestie ( vongole , cozze , vis in een heerlijke saus ) . Afgesloten met een amaro van het eiland . Een echte aanrader en absoluut waar voor een zeer democratische prijs . Een aanrader !

12/06/2025: Really old-fashioned and pure. No hyped friendliness and withered and empty etiquettes. Bottle of wine is opened and put on the table to pour yourself.
And....great food. A lot of attention is clearly paid to good quality.
We were there 2 days ago and we are going again tonight. I hope they found my forgotten cap...

30/04/2025: .....We are on Elba for the Rally which is already something exclusive and a pleasure to have the opportunity to be present in this Tuscan paradise!!! Impossible not to pass by the Tessis tavern in Portoferraio: Massimo n.1!! Indescribable as an experience and impossible not to pass by here.......
25/04/2025: Small restaurant inside the Tennic Club. We had dinner... everything was delicious from the starter to the dessert.

15/06/2025: Not kept in the best of conditions, frankly dirty. A real shame given the facilities could be maximised by the staff who don’t appear to have much to do in this quiet period of the year. Sorry to say, laziness that needs to be managed. Greeted by old excrements whilst entering from the beach side. Disgusting. It was not like this in the past. Plastic everywhere on the beach too. 15/06/2025: Beautiful location, good kitchen, but disappointing service.
We visited twice, but unfortunately left disappointed both times. The first time, we were served a half-full plate of pasta ragù, while the table next to us – a group – received the exact same dish with nearly double the portion. We mentioned it to the staff, but nothing was done. We didn’t feel taken seriously.
A few days later we gave it another try, with two adults and two children. The kitchen is good – everything tasted great – but the starters and main courses were served at the same time. The bread that was supposed to come before the starter never arrived, yet we were charged €14 for “bread and service.” No apology, no gesture, nothing.
We paid €115 and were out the door within an hour. We ended up having dessert elsewhere.
The food is good, but the lack of hospitality and poor service really took away from the experience. This was our last visit.

11/05/2025: We had lunch in this beautiful place by chance and I can say that we were very satisfied. Highly recommended Spaghetti allo scoglio, generous portion with spectacular fresh fish. The salmon ravioli is also very good and the squid ink ravioli filled with fish are worth trying together with the mixed fried food.
Clean place with very friendly staff.
They also have access to the restaurant for disabled people. The prices are fair for the dishes they offer.

13/08/2024: Ho mangiato in questo ristorante a pranzo location molto bella e piatti molto buoni.
Per quanto riguarda i vini si parte da bottiglie da 50 euro a salire.
L'unica nota stonata che ho avuto mangiando il conto maggiorato di 24 euro perché aveva segnato cose in più.
Comunque disponibili a risolvere il malinteso.
