12/03/2026: We sit down at 12:30. We order and they immediately bring us the appetizer to share, and then for the next 40 minutes, no one else is seen. We hear some rather silly comments from the waitress (should we bring all the first courses at once...???) and even the waiter, when we ask for our first courses, replies that it's best not to comment.
Finally, the first courses arrive: spaghetti with clams, which I'd say are just adequate. First of all, they're not clams, and that should be stated and specified. Do you know how much lupini beans cost compared to clams? Lupini beans on one side and spaghetti on the other. Pasta with anchovies and capers: a bit mushy but acceptable, even if nothing more than what you can easily make at home. I'd say the fried food was good, not abundant but good.
The only positive note is that when it came time to pay, the owner apologized for the delay.
I'm sorry, but I didn't find what I was hoping for 🤷♂️
10/03/2026: The restaurant is also within walking distance as it is located in the center behind the covered market. This restaurant has always had excellent reviews. I remember back in the day that they already had takeout, and my parents would give me the pot to buy cacciucco! There has always been a family atmosphere and a relationship of mutual affection! The food is excellent and the price is right, especially for the fish-based dishes. The octopus is always tender and tasty, the fried food is not greasy and crunchy, and the pasta is tasty and cooked al dente! There are two dining rooms and outdoor seating, especially in nice weather! We always organize birthday parties for 15 people!

28/02/2026: Even though the place was packed, everything was perfect! We had a wonderful evening, everything was delicious: prosciutto crudo al taglio, baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, and two excellent first courses (Chianina beef ragù and spaghetti with fresh tomato and basil). The house Morellino di Scansano was also excellent. The extra virgin olive oil was truly special. The service from the entire staff was excellent and friendly, starting with the very kind Filippo. We'll be back as soon as we can to try the other dishes. Thank you, and see you soon!

04/03/2026: I dined at Lo Scarrozzo during a business trip and was truly satisfied. I started with an appetizer of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses, truly remarkable for the quality, freshness, and variety of ingredients. For my second course, I chose an excellent veal round with baked potatoes, perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Everything was carefully prepared and of high quality, and the price was absolutely in line with the offerings. The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.

10/10/2025: We stayed there for a week on vacation. The food was excellent (generous portions and really tasty), and the chef was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
22/09/2025: We actually had a very good initial impression. However, after our main course, our plates took a very long time to clear. We then had to ask if it was possible to order dessert.
Somehow, we had the feeling the staff wanted to close the kitchen as quickly as possible. What a pity!
The restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of our accommodation, "Casa Vacanze Bicchi" in Scarlino, who also pointed out that the restaurant offers a 10% discount for guests staying at her accommodation. The restaurant didn't want to hear about this.

03/04/2026: I'd inexplicably never been there in all these years, and now, on vacation, I tried it only because the marinara pizza looked interesting (as a vegan, I can't eat anything else). Everything was delicious, and the pizza was light and easy to digest. The service was perfect. I'll definitely be back.

18/12/2025: First customers on reopening day! What can I say...finally! Excellent food! Schiaccina on the house, delicious and plentiful fish dishes, attentive and friendly wait staff, Chef worthy of applause 👏 A mouth-watering dinner, thank you 😉
21/09/2025: Terrible food, we paid for a set menu that included dry, tasteless, and tough baked pasta that I was afraid would break a tooth. Then they served two slices of roast beef, also dry, which I honestly don't know if they turned out that way from reheating them. A small piece of chicken and a small piece of pork chop, both raw inside. Oh, and yes, the menu listed non-existent potatoes. The waiters were kind, but I think the chef is also the owner, who was very rude. We paid a fixed price and forgot about the potatoes. He wanted to offer me coffee, but so I don't have coffee. I asked for a small piece of dessert and was told that I'll give you a €7 dessert? And he threw €10 at me on the table, which I threw back at him. Then, to top it all off, when we left, I assume the cashier had a questionable attitude, even calling us rude. I won't set foot in there again and I don't recommend it.

Very fresh fish.
The fried food is really light and not greasy.
The cacciucco is superb.
In short, a sure thing.
31/07/2025: Despite spending many summers in Follonica, it was our first time trying this fish and chip shop... and the experience was beyond positive.
We ordered fried shrimp and squid to go: good-quality fish, fried to perfection—crispy, dry, and not at all greasy.
The staff were friendly and the fresh fish counter was well-stocked, making it a surefire way to return for more to cook at home.
A great find!

06/04/2026: Terrible experience, Easter Monday ruined by a lunch that was nothing short of awful.
We arrived at 12:30 and already noticed the staff was unprepared and disoriented. The first course (appetizer) was brought at 2:30, exasperating not only us but also some who threatened to leave without even paying, while the first course was cold and overcooked. Without ordering a second course, we left.

08/09/2025: We've been coming to this wonderful fish restaurant for three years now – and we're always impressed! The fish dishes are simply first-class, fresh, and prepared with love. You can immediately taste the emphasis on quality and passion. The chef and his daughter are incredibly charming and make you feel immediately welcome. The value for money is absolutely top-notch – everything just fits together perfectly here. It's a highlight every time, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

20/04/2025: Super Restaurant mit langer Tradition. Vorspeise und Pizza, beides phantastisch ... und das Tiramisu (ausgezeichnet als das beste der Stadt) sollte man wirklich probieren. Wenn denn noch was rein passt, denn die Portionen sind ordentlich. Um einen Parkplatz sollte man sich frühzeit kümmern und eine Reservierung vorab ist sicher auch nicht verkehrt, die geht zumindest ganz einfach online. Handy sollte man übrigens dabei haben, die Speisekarte gibt's digital über QR code. Due nette Bedienung hilft aber auch gerne weiter. Kommen gerne wieder.
20/04/2025: Da dimenticare... siamo andati io mia moglie e mio figlio abbiamo preso un antipasto per due praticamente l antipasto non c era un filetto di maiale un tiramisù 61 euro per me un furto mai piu
