09/03/2026: The place is beautiful, because you can choose to sit inside, on the veranda, or on the terrace overlooking the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dishes are truly excellent and of excellent quality, beautifully plated and slightly generous. The pizza is soft, and the ingredients used are top-quality. Truly, truly excellent. As for the price, it's a bit steep... I'll be back, but in a few months... ...I finally returned after 3 years, but with a few more friends, only 20 people. I had told friends about this wonderful place and we decided to do it on Women's Day. Our wives were super, super happy to have chosen this place, both for the friendliness, the hospitality, the skill, the atmosphere, and above all for the food, which was delicious. We took advice from the owner, a very nice young woman with a polite manner and attentive to our requests, and she offered and delighted us with fabulous dishes from appetizers to pizza... Compliments to all the staff and especially for the cleanliness. Compliments again... I've attached the receipt to confirm my attendance. The final price seems high, but in the end it's only 20 euros per person. Everything was delicious, and the portions were truly generous...

06/12/2025: We came here on the last night of our trip and it was delicious. Not the best pasta I had in Castellammare, but it was flavourful and huge portions with lots of seafood. The addition of curry in the ravioli sauce was unusual but it worked. The staff are very friendly - we ordered a carafe of wine and only had the thick stemmed water glasses. They were quick to bring us proper white wine glasses and were welcoming of our attempts at Italian! The outside area is on a slant which isn’t the most comfortable but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. I would come here again!

08/11/2025: In September, we dined at "La.maidda" a few evenings and had a wonderful time. The first and second courses were incredibly fresh fish. The tuna and pistachio steak was fantastic. The house wine was excellent. The price was reasonable for the dishes. Recommended!

18/02/2026: This was my first time at this restaurant. Beautiful view of the harbor. Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly and incredibly attentive waiter. I arrived a bit early, and the kitchen wasn't open yet, so they offered to let me wait and order an aperitif in the meantime. After that, they took care of my other orders and requests very quickly. The food was good. The bruschetta was excellent – ​​crispy yet juicy, with a good amount of garlic. I also had spaghetti Bolognese. It lacked a bit of a wow factor for me. Next time, I'd probably try the highly praised pasta with Sicilian pesto, but tonight I was in the mood for meat. However, the quality of the Parmesan cheese really elevated this dish; it was an incredible treat. The chocolate soufflé was good, although the center wasn't completely melted. Since it's listed on the menu as a ready-made item, I assume they simply adhere very strictly to the prescribed cooking times. It still tasted very chocolatey and rounded off the evening nicely. The food was more than good value for money. The drinks, however, were a different story: I personally found €10 for a Spritz Siciliano to be very expensive. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and would gladly return.

The cuisine was absolutely exquisite—every dish was delightfully fresh, aromatic, and meticulously crafted. The staff provided excellent advice, helping us choose dishes that best capture the flavors of the region. The family-friendly atmosphere is an additional asset of this place. A special thank you goes out to the individualized attention given to our children with allergies. The dishes were perfectly tailored to their needs, ensuring we all enjoyed a stress-free meal. This is a place we will gladly return to and one we wholeheartedly recommend!

04/03/2026: A top-notch lunch, with incredibly fresh fish and superb raw fish. The linguine with sea urchins was one of the best seafood entrees I've ever had, it couldn't be better. Stunning location, courteous and attentive service, impeccable cleanliness, and attention to detail. Perfect.

12/10/2025: We came to Tenute Plaia with modest expectations, after a few disappointing meals elsewhere. What we found instead was a place of quiet balance, the view and stillness alone felt restorative. We dined on the terrace, overlooking the hills and the sea. The air was calm, the setting serene, the kind of silence that feels alive rather than empty. From the first greeting, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel instantly at ease. The food was exceptional: authentic Sicilian cooking with depth and honesty. Every dish carried a sense of place, clear flavors, thoughtful execution, nothing showy. We were the only guests that evening (perhaps because we came early around 7 PM), but the solitude made the experience even more memorable. In essence, Tenute Plaia doesn’t aim to impress, it simply delivers truth through simplicity. A place where food, landscape, and calm coexist naturally.

16/02/2026: Disappointing experience. We booked a set menu for Valentine's Day, so we arrived and were seated, they poured us prosecco, and that was it. For about an hour, despite calling the waiters' attention, no one showed up, so we didn't even have time to have our order taken. We got up and left!! Before leaving the restaurant, we asked if we had to pay for the prosecco poured into our glass, but they gave it to us free of charge.

17/01/2026: Excellent restaurant on the Castellammare seafront. It wasn't my first time there, and I'm always thoroughly satisfied. Wide menu selection, well-stocked wine list, traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation, and delicious fresh seafood. Excellent and fast service, friendly and patient staff. Excellent value. Reservations are recommended on Saturdays and Sundays and in high season.

31/12/2025: Fantastic dishes! Exceptional seafood appetizer with incredibly fresh fish. Then the highlight...a unique citrus risotto. All topped off with the kindness and courtesy of Salvatore, the true soul of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

07/10/2025: Very nice place, on the sea. Really good food. The homemade pasta was delicious. The fried calamari was excellent and light. The peppered mussels were tasty, and the dessert was also very good. Excellent service, accompanied by friendliness and a smile. The price was fair. Highly recommended.
