18/08/2024: Not a very large place located in an alley in the center of Cagliari. What can I say... everything was fantastic, really excellent food and more than honest prices. The staff was quick and very kind, in particular we want to thank the waiter Alberto, who welcomed us and looked after us with great attention, professionalism and friendliness. If you happen to be in town, you can't miss this restaurant!

They spoke to us several times, giving us detailed explanations of the dishes. Huge choice of fine foods and wines. Adequate prices. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Cagliari (if not the best!!) We will return with great pleasure and highly recommend it Congratulations 👏👏👏

17/10/2024: Wonderful experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service was impeccable, thank you very much. The menu offers a delicious selection of dishes (with vegetarian options too). The excellent raw materials, well prepared and the final dessert was a real pleasure. I definitely recommend visiting it for anyone looking for a good dinner in the city!

23/11/2024: This is a classy quiet place for fresh seafood done Sardinian style. Fairly priced. Had fresh tuna that almost melted in your mouth but had a nice sear. Pasta with artichokes and clam. Deep fried octopus had a faint sweetness bc of freshness.

11/10/2024: Dopo aver letto le recensioni ed averne sentito parlare molto bene decidiamo di provare questo ristorante a pranzo. Il tempo mite ci consente di mangiare all'aperto nella via pedonale. Il personale è cordiale e ci mette subito a nostro agio. Ordiniamo come antipasti: cozze, cannolicchi, polpo e fritto misto. Come primo pasta fresca fatta dal ristorante stesso, con cozze, scampi e gamberoni. Vino Karmis. Chiudiamo con amaro e caffè. Totale per 3 persone 120 €. Siamo stati molto bene. Lo consiglio e ci torneremo.

21/09/2024: Ceniamo in questo ristorante affacciato su corso Vittorio Emanuele, nei tavoli all'aperto. Subito rimaniamo piacevolmente colpiti dalla gentilezza e cordialità con la proprietaria ed il personale, tutti molto attenti alla mia problematica di intolleranza (celiaca). Prendiamo due antipasti (insalata di polpo, morbida e buona, e zuppa di cozze e vongole, porzione generosa con cozze belle gandi e gustose). A seguire, io prendo un filetto di orata con pomodorini, che mi viene servita perfettamente sfilettata. Il mio compagno un fritto misto. A seguire caffè e mirto. Prezzo onestissimo, atmosfera e feeling con la proprietaria! Quando torneremo a Cagliari, tappa obbligatoria.

27/11/2024: Centrally located but with the possibility of parking in the area. Two rather dated internal rooms but excellently maintained and cared for. Restaurant with the possibility of pizza, offering a simple local menu. Excellent raw material well packaged. Good range of wines. Staff at the tables prompt and courteous. Good bill compared to the menu. Advised.

09/12/2024: Located in the heart of the Stampace district in Cagliari, Mondo & Luca is a welcoming restaurant that offers cuisine inspired by Sardinian tradition, with particular attention to fish dishes. The overall experience was pleasant, but not without some small imperfections. The food stands out for the quality of the ingredients and the attention to traditional recipes. The sea bream with Vernaccia turned out to be the real highlight of the evening: one of the best I've ever tasted, juicy, tasty and cooked to perfection. However, there were some problems with the temperatures of other dishes: the octopus salad was served a little too cold and the dessert was still partially frozen. The restaurant is comfortable and well-kept, ideal for a relaxing dinner, and the staff were kind and helpful, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. With a bill of 75 euros for two, the quality-price ratio is normal, but greater attention to detail would have improved the experience. However, Mondo & Luca remains an interesting restaurant, perfect for those looking for a taste of Sardinian cuisine, with the potential to take a further step forward.

01/09/2024: Last night we went to this restaurant for the first time, the food was excellent except for the seadas which arrived raw, my family ate them so as not to get into arguments, except for my daughter and I because raw seadas are inedible and as a pastry chef I don't care. I intend. I was offered another seadas, but by now I had lost the desire. As for the service, the waiters were very kind and attentive, the owner's son told us that we couldn't choose more than two different first courses per table (communication given not immediately, but as soon as the second pasta dish was ordered, different from the first ), so if a third person wanted another different first course they couldn't have it (we were 6 adults and a little girl) even though on the menu brought there was a choice between 5 or 6 first courses. Also asking that the people who chose the 2 different first courses be able to prepare them with the same type of pasta. I think this last request was a bit excessive, given that only 2 people asked for the first one. The food is good, but I think it is better to take your time to prepare it so as not to serve it raw. Furthermore, you can advise and direct the customer by helping them in their choice, but there are limits.

12/08/2024: Il servizio non sarà un 5 stelle ma il menù di mare era freschissimo ed ottimo, porzioni giuste e conto assolutamente accettabile. Ritorneremo.

05/08/2024: Sehr unfreundliche und unhöfliche arrogante Art der Mitarbeitenden, wir wurden zuerst ignoriert und dann bekamen wir den Eindruck, dass wir nicht wirklich willkommen sind. Schade, ich habe grossen Respekt vor Gastronomen und gebe sehr ungern eine solche Bewertung, euer Benehmen war total daneben!

28/08/2024: I live to travel around the world and eat in places like this. Family restaurant, with spectacular local food, and great and warm old school service. We're slowly losing places like this on the Mediterranean, they're becoming endemic. Cherish them, please!
