12/03/2026: A truly delightful experience! The welcome was wonderful, the service impeccable. We were seated on the terrace, but the weather changed, and the waiter kindly offered us a table inside. The portions were very generous and excellent. And to top it all off, they generously offered us a homemade tart – thank you so much! We had a wonderful time. Rachel and Stéphane
21/02/2026: We went as a group of friends. We ordered seafood appetizers, seafood linguine, shrimp and lemon risotto, and finally lemon sorbets. The seafood was top-quality and the waiters were very friendly. It's a regular stop for us, and the spectacular view of the high coast makes us want to return.

Panino tomato tuna €9, café americano €3.50, perhaps because I had something similar yesterday in Lacco Ameno that was cheaper and tastier.
14/10/2025: We went there while strolling through the streets, the panini was very good, very crispy, the best. The service was good, two girls were at the bar very nice

14/09/2025: Always a positive experience. We've eaten at this little restaurant several times and have always had a great time. Good quality at a fair price.
04/09/2025: Mediocre quality (mostly we were served reheated food, not cooked—it arrived promptly), below-average portions, and restaurant-like prices (even though it's just a chip shop). The prices are ridiculous for what you get.
There are definitely better places nearby where you can eat well and get your money's worth.

25/09/2025: Kind and attentive service—that's the best thing about Oste! A prawn-based Catalana dish that has nothing Catalan about it, except a little onion. The octopus is a bit tough, and having tasted the dishes of my companions, I can say that the quality is similar. The price is typical of a tourist restaurant for a place that had (or should have) so many cards to play. What a shame.

17/07/2025: Abbiamo conosciuto questo posto su consiglio di amici, nei vicoli del centro storico.
Che dire: personale simpatico, professionale e garbato. Cibo eccellente. Abbiamo assaggiato due primi (linguine con i frutti di mare e gnocchi di patate con vongole e asparago verde) davvero deliziosi, seguiti da un'ottima frittura di calamari. Vino rosato di eccellente qualità.
Consigliatissimo!
16/07/2025: Menu turistico ottimo linguine ai frutti di mare eccellenti, il pane con l olio servito a tavola da leccarsi i baffi.filetto si irata alle mandorle......il tutto a buon prezzo.🤪

09/11/2025: All it took was reading the reviews. I ate a takeout tray of seafood salad with a colleague of mine, who had fried food instead. He was fine, but I wasn't. I had food poisoning and am still very ill.
Still undecided whether to report the incident, but I'm thinking about it!

14/10/2025: Dinner on a weekday evening. Homemade dishes are not available. The head waiter is in a hurry to see you leave. They don't ask if you'd like anything else to eat, and they don't offer dessert or coffee. The important thing is that you leave, and quickly, because there aren't many customers that evening.
AVOID. We've never been so poorly received in Salento!

08/10/2025: The prices are high for the quality of the products. I'm also waiting, despite several calls and reassurances from the owners, for a refund for the August dinner, as I was charged twice. Based on personal experience, I strongly recommend another restaurant!

03/09/2025: I honestly don't understand the cold or negative reviews for this restaurant. Splendid location near the Castle in a historic and truly characteristic square. All the dishes were more than good. Portions were not excessive but honest. We really enjoyed it. THANK YOU. P.S.: with The Fork discount, it's a crime not to go!
29/08/2025: We ordered pasta with mussels and cherry tomatoes...the pasta wasn't fresh, the dish was completely unprepared, and the mussels were tiny!! We also ordered an octopus salad...tasteless! Lastly, a three-year-old girl was even charged for the service charge without having consumed anything! The location is beautiful. The waiter was very kind and polite, but the young woman, who barely spoke Italian, wasn't so much as asking for feedback when she picked up her plate. It seems like a commercial place that tries to repurpose traditional dishes without the necessary love and tradition. The prices are high.
The menu doesn't list frozen ingredients...you have to ask to find out what's fresh and what's not.

15/03/2026: Never again have 5 Raffo beers, 20 euros, I served myself from the fridge, I didn't want glasses, when in the grocery stores 3 beers cost 1.79. I understand that a bar has expenses but exaggerating, it doesn't matter I will never go there again, they are poor things.
13/03/2026: I came across this while I was out and about. It was a great find, the service was good and fast... well done... keep it up... fair prices.
