14/12/2024: We’ve spent a really nice moment in this cute restaurant. Superb service, all the mix of flavours on each plate was perfect. Very nice atmosphere. One small detail for some but important for me, their home-made bread & focaccia were delicious. Last but not least you should definitely try their « cannelé » which was excellent! Long story short, to try if you’re in Verbania’s area.

26/10/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with a friend in August. I had never been there. The venue is tastefully furnished, with attention to every detail, from the combination of pastel colors to the choice of cones of shadow and light. The cuisine is of a high standard. The wide range of dishes described in a refined way immediately raises the level of expectation. The experience on the palate goes further. The flavors blend in an explosion of pleasure. The wine list is up to par. The service is also adequate. I will definitely come back.

20/10/2024: The food and the place are not bad but the service is very cold and the owner with her fake smile is very clever because we split the bill and she thought it best to round it up in her favour, not to give the receipt and we paid in cash!! Terrible, shameful and unprofessional attitude!!!

10/10/2024: It doesn't have Michelin stars only because Chef and owner Agostino doesn't want it, but it certainly deserves at least 2. The cuisine is excellent and refined with an eye to local tradition. The historic restaurant is beautiful with a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake. It also has a private dock for those wishing to arrive by boat. Overall, a beautiful place!

25/09/2024: Vor Jahren waren wir öfters im Milano und immer voll zufrieden. Leider können wir das von unserem letzten Besuch nicht sagen. Grundsätzlich waren alle höflich, der Service allerdings für ein solches Restaurant zu lausig und gleichgültig. Das Essen war nur durchschnittlich. Es wurde ein Safranrisotto als Beilage bestellt ... vergessen. Danach wurde innerhalb ein paar Minuten ein "Ruck-Zuck-Reis" gebracht, welcher grausam schmeckte und eine total pampige Konsistenz hatte. Im Wintergarten (wunderschöne Aussicht) war es recht kalt ... Wärmequellen wären von Vorteil. Preis absolut zu hoch für das, was geboten wird.

24/12/2024: Uno dei tanti ristoranti che si trovano sull’isola dei pescatori, l’ambiente è carino con bella veranda coperta con vista sul lago. Sevizio e cibo nella norma con prezzi allineati alla concorrenza (mediamente altini). A noi hanno sbagliato a fare il conto ma non ci sono stati problemi e ci hanno ridato in contanti quello che avevamo pagato in eccesso.

10/12/2024: The place is at the northern end of the island and the view is very nice, but the attention of the employees is poor, the products are of medium quality and the prices are high. Although there were few customers in early December, service was poor.

05/11/2024: Wonderful day to celebrate a birthday and Helvezia contributed thanks to a table with a lake view, remarkable food, impeccable service and reasonable prices for what was offered.

02/11/2024: I went for lunch with friends. We had a great time. Positioned on the beautiful island there is a spectacular view, on one side Verbania, its hamlets and the mountains above them and on the other Stresa with the Mottarone. Friendly staff.

15/01/2025: Essendo del luogo, ci andiamo abbastanza frequentemente e non siamo mai rimasti delusi buono il crudo con burrata e i piatti di pesce io solitamente non mangio il primo, ma quelli arrivati al tavolo sono sempre stati ottimi, un locale consigliato proprio in riva al Lago maggiore fateci una visita , prezzi ottimi.
