23/07/2025: An all-around successful restaurant! The atmosphere is pleasant, the view beautiful, and the service. The waitress, in particular, was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu may not be very extensive, but every dish is a hit: creative, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Kudos to the kitchen! The cooking here is done with skill, attention to detail, and true passion! A good bottle of wine and the evening is perfect. Tip: Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is rather small.

14/08/2025: Best restaurant in Domodossola. We visited twice, enjoying the 6-course menu once and the à la carte menu once. The fish dishes are extremely good and perfectly balanced. The service is very attentive and friendly. Plus, you have a fantastic view of the city and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. My only minor criticism: I had a rack of lamb, which was unfortunately cooked thoroughly and not medium. For dessert, I had the "Chocolate Trilogy." I found the chocolate mousse too dense. Furthermore, the layering of dark, light, and white chocolate wasn't well thought out. I would have preferred the exact opposite, starting with white chocolate and then working toward the more bitter flavors at the end. But these minor criticisms don't justify a point deduction, so they still deserve full marks. And a tip for other guests: Stick to the chef's core competency, which is clearly fish!

18/06/2025: Nous avons merveilleusement bien mangé au restaurant La Botte à Stresa. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. L’accueil a été chaleureux et sincère, l’ambiance à la fois élégante et détendue, et chaque plat était une véritable découverte de saveurs. La patronne est attentionnée et d’une gentillesse rare. On sent qu’elle met tout son cœur dans son établissement. Le service est fluide, et on se sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Bref, nous avons passé une superbe soirée, dans une ambiance conviviale et raffinée. Une très belle adresse à ne pas manquer si vous êtes de passage à Stresa. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Tomasso is a delight; he served us with great care and gave us great recommendations. The portions are generous and everything was delicious. The flavors were very well-balanced. 06/08/2025: Ero stata anni fa a mangiare ed essendomi trovata bene, l'ho proposto ad un gruppo di colleghi. Tutti sono rimasti contenti. Cibo ottimo. La miglior picahna che abbia mai mangiato. 25/08/2025: Ristorante Lago Maggiore is our go-to spot when we visit beautiful Stresa. If you want to eat well and save money, you can't go wrong here! Maria is a wonderful hostess, and the staff are incredibly friendly! It's our absolute must-visit! And...the location is perfect!

25/08/2025: We dined here during the San Vito Fireworks celebrations, and were greeted with kindness and a smile, which is always a pleasure. The place was packed, but within half an hour, an excellent pizza arrived. You can tell the ingredients are top-quality. Superb organization and attention to detail. Kudos to Titti Ivo and the entire staff.

17/07/2025: Invitati da due amici a questo ristorante sul lungo lago di Omegna, tavolo all'aperto. Abbiamo mangiato una paella di pesce buonissima e, siccome era avanzata, Andrea, che ci ha serviti con professionalità, velocità e un bel sorriso, ha preparato una confezione da portare a casa. Personale veloce e attento, cibo ottimo, lo consiglio!

The empty plates and the bottles of all the other tables were constantly put on our table, while the other tables were served. So we had half eaten seafood plates on our table while we ate our courses.. delicious food, but when i pay 500 Euros for 2 people i expect something better.

15/08/2025: We ate here twice during our week stay in Verbania. With three people, the food and service was excellent. Fresh ingredients and tasty and good price. With large group, the service was not so great. Many in our party were done eating while others were still waiting for their plates. They cannot really accommodate a large group. Food is good for price.
