08/05/2025: We really appreciated the quality of the dishes, all well executed and with excellent ingredients. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the service was impeccable: attentive, courteous and well organised. We had to wait a bit before being served, but the wait was repaid by the goodness of the dishes. The only small regret was the position of our table, which did not allow us to enjoy the view of the lake, one of the distinctive elements of the place. In any case, the quality-price ratio is absolutely adequate for the experience offered.

La location è ottima, il personale è cordiale ma il prezzo è ESAGERATAMENTE alto rispetto alla qualità della cucina che ritengo comunque gradevole. Il prezzo del vino è completamente fuori misura....2 prosecchi iniziali su loro invito (quasi come fossero di benvenuto) e tre calici di rosso registrano 90 euro ... Un dolce normalissimo 16 euro.....il furto è stato perpetrato... Non tornerò più ovviamente....si può trovare decisamente di meglio.

04/05/2025: Good venue. Typical dishes, fast but kind service, cleanliness and order. Varied menu, dishes constructed but not too elaborate. The two of us tasted three dishes: bagnacauda with fresh vegetables, saffron risotto with ossobuco, mix of mushrooms with polenta. Good choice of wines. Price more than acceptable. Advised.

11/05/2025: Productos de calidad alta pero precios demasiado altos frente al tipo de comidas ofrecidas (al menos para los platos con mariscos). Por ejemplo, seleccionamos una "meseta" de pescado crudo que por 60 euros era de calidad muy buena pero no tan rica tanto en cantidad como en tamaño de cada artículo.

10/05/2025: We had a wonderful taste menu lunch. We chose the modern option and got interesting interpretation of the lively chef. We like the fact the chef was serving the dishes explaining and having a small talk. We learnt the fishes source is mainly Sicily and not the lake. Over all the food was tasty, we got several techniques of the same fish which was nice. We were lacking a bit more of everything the toppings and the sauces to make the dishes and flavours more rich. For the cold starter we got lumberjack sashimi which was fresh and good but could enjoy more olive oil and tomatos. For the warm starter we got cuttlefish with Katsuobushi (dried Japanese fish) it was a refreshing topping to the delicate cuttlefish, again a bit more sauce would make it better. For the secondi we got sea food ravioli which was very delicious. The main dish was beautiful fried lumberjack which was very tender. For desert we got a delicious apple pie with ice cream. All the pleasure with a nice local wine and tip was 100 each.

11/05/2025: We celebrated a birthday here with a large group, and although the restaurant's location makes it seem like a tourist trap, we enjoyed excellent food at really reasonable prices. Sitting outside on the terrace, you have a fantastic view of the lake. If you end up on a tour of the island, this is a great place to stop!

03/05/2025: A pleasant day on Lake Maggiore visiting the beautiful Borromean islands enhanced by this excellent stop at the Elvezia restaurant where we had lunch. The location is beautiful especially if you can have lunch on the terrace, as we did, with a lake view. The service is attentive, fast and precise, definitely capable of managing a place like this. However, the thing we appreciated most was the quality of the preparations we tasted. I enjoyed a good risotto with perch creamed with watercress and Castelmagno, to be excellent all that was needed was a savory hint to balance the sweet/delicate part. The large fried lake fish served with vegetable sheets, rustic potatoes and tartar sauce is decidedly excellent. Perfect dish. Our lunch was well accompanied by a Chardonnay from Elena Walch

Raccolta meccanica, delicata in pieno rispetto dell’integrità dell’uva con rapido conferimento in cantina da metà a fine settembre. Imbottigliamento a metà gennaio, con successivo affinamento primaverile in bottiglia.Vinificazione pressatura soffice e rispettosa delle uve in atmosfera inerte. Fermentazione in acciaio a temperatura controllata di 18. Unica piccola pecca non è stato portato il secchiello con il ghiaccio, o la glacette per mantenere il vino bianco alla temperartura adeguatam, ma fortunatamente la bottiglia è stata servita ad una perfetta temperatura. Ottimo ristorante, prezzi adeguati alla qualità dei prodotti proposti, personale gentile, merita sempre di ritornarci, grazie!
