02/11/2025: Amazing... truly... unique flavors... my compliments... The fried pork belly with its side dishes was truly something unique for me... Everything was truly exceptional. I had high expectations and they were far exceeded... I really recommend it and I hope to return soon. The saffron risotto with ossobuco was exceptional. But then be careful with everything... from the homemade felafel with red carrot cream offered by the restaurant while you wait, to the excellent bread and focaccia made by them. With the coffee they offered two desserts (just one coffee but there were two of us... so super sweet)... Thank you so much ❤️🙇🏼👍👌🥇🤙... everything was super at the right price 🙇🏼❤️🙇🏼🫶. I forgot about the dessert... what skill... a place I truly recommend with all my heart... I had a wonderful time. The girl in the dining room was also super kind and attentive... A truly sincere place in every way with extremely high quality ❤️. Trust me, it's truly SUPER 🙇🏼🥇👍❤️. 02/11/2025: After two years, we came back to eat here again, and everything was perfect as always 🤗. It's always a pleasure to return. We ordered the tasting menu, a truly wonderful experience 🙏. For a fine-dining restaurant, the portions were very generous, which isn't always the case. A huge compliment on the amazing coconut dessert. Simply wow 😱🥰.

The ingredients are fresh and beautifully presented, and you can sense the attention to every detail, from service to presentation. An ideal place to indulge in a tasty and relaxing break—perfect for a romantic dinner or a special lunch.

13/10/2025: A delightful lakeside restaurant offering both freshwater fish and a variety of vegan options. It's hard to find a restaurant on this island that isn't a tourist trap, and this was a wonderful discovery! Reservations are required, well in advance.

08/10/2025: Standing on that terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore feels like you're on the bow of a ship. Few dishes, as befits an osteria, but all well-prepared and made with quality ingredients.

17/09/2025: Went there for a quick lunch. 2 small salads, 2 paninis. 1 water, 1 coffee, 1 Coca-Cola, and a small beer. Including a topping, €70. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. Pigeons on the tables. Food and service were okay. But never again.

27/09/2025: Once again, a great evening in this cozy little establishment. Varied menu, excellent pizzas, reasonable prices for Stresa, in short, a success... Often full, even the heated terrace at the moment, so book so you don't have to look elsewhere.

22/09/2025: I found the wait for my food to be normal for what one might expect on a Sunday lunch in a tourist destination. I had no complaints about the service at our table, but seeing how others were served, I noticed general disorganization and confusion (the lady at the table behind us didn't even get a dish served at all). I'm sorry to say that, unfortunately, I ate one of the worst gluten-free pizzas I've ever tasted: the dough was poorly rolled out (my mother's had a hole on one side), and it was raw inside and charred around the edge. It was definitely tasty, and I enjoyed eating it, albeit with a vague feeling of unease. My father and I ordered the same pizza, except that his dough was regular and mine was gluten-free. When she arrived at our table, the waitress had no idea which one she was serving to whom, so she called the kitchen to find out. It wasn't a major problem, as I'm the only one with a gluten intolerance, but having had experience with celiacs in my family, I know the risks of cross-contamination. This isn't meant to be a strictly negative review: the staff is friendly and kind, and the location is excellent.

The atmosphere is welcoming and charming, with a touch of old-world elegance that makes everything even more special. A special thanks to the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive: she recommended a truly delightful evening meal and even arranged a little surprise for my husband—a gesture we greatly appreciated and which made our stay even more memorable.
