27/06/2025: We returned to this place remembering an excellent dinner a couple of years ago and the wait was not disappointed. I always start by saying that the taste of food is personal and not subject to discussion, while cleanliness, organization, etc., can be evaluated and discussed. The place is located on the seafront of Senigallia and you can eat both indoors and outdoors, with tables on the beach (obviously on a concrete base), with the possibility of choosing between the restaurant menu and pizza. Both times we were in "holiday" periods (July and June), in the evening and on crucial days (Saturday and Friday) and both times the service was precise, courteous and fast. A mention of the prices is necessary: ​​it is true that they are constantly increasing, but it is a generalized thing and as long as the same are clear before starting to dine and reflect the quality of what you eat, I do not see the problem. Moreover, the pizzas, cooked in a wood-fired oven in full view at the entrance, whose quality I cannot judge except that they look beautiful, have more than reasonable prices. For this second dinner we preferred two complete fish appetizers, a seafood carbonara and a fried dish with only calamari and shrimp, to then finish with a tiramisu and a crema catalana. The classic appetizer, with fresh and very good ingredients; the first, the seafood carbonara, a mix of delicate and unique flavors with the spaghetti al dente (perfect); the fried food was good, not greasy, a little salty in my opinion, but it could be a coincidence. The desserts, tiramisu, good in the opinion of those who ate it, and crema catalana, with a good flavor and with an excellent caramel, perhaps a little too liquid, probably should have been a little colder. In conclusion, an excellent restaurant to eat at.

23/06/2025: Neat and tidy place. Friendly, knowledgeable and fast staff. Very attentive, energetic and kind owner. Very fast service. Even though we were in the internal room in front of the wood oven we did not die of heat. The pizzas were good and the price, these days, very honest. We will return to try the fish!

17/07/2025: On our 2-week trip to Italy, we find this gem in Ancona. Pure flavors, bordering on naked trust in the ingredients and fantastic service frame the picturesque restaurant in a way that opens both mind and soul. I am very impressed by the service and the simple but fantastically delicious food and will visit Del Pozzo again if I am in Ancona.

16/07/2025: A place that doesn't look impressive from the outside, but once you enter, you fall in love! It was recommended to me, and I couldn't have found a better recommendation. The atmosphere inside is refined. The dishes are simple yet full of knowledge; you get the impression that the person behind the stove is more than just a great chef; they love eating fish. I tried a first course with sardines, pine nuts, raisins, etc., and on the second day, the baked cod. The side dish is always cabbage with anchovies and capers, a discovery that captivated me. There's no shortage of daily specials. The staff is discreet and friendly, and the background music plays pleasantly, accompanied by the calm chatter of the various guests. I always get the house white wine, which is good. In short, if you're passing through Ancona and don't know where to go, come here. I was alone, but if you're with more than one person, I recommend calling to book.

21/06/2025: Very beautiful location with views ranging from the typical Cilento vegetation (olive groves) and a sea view on the horizon. Well-kept and very enjoyable terrace. Young, friendly and kind staff. Exceptional cuisine, special mention for the pacchero and pizza. Prices in line and with an excellent quality/quantity ratio. Highly recommended and certainly if we happen to be near the business again we will go and try other dishes.

29/06/2025: It's been a long time since we've eaten such good fish (and we live by the sea!). From the scallops - huge and tasty - to the grilled au gratin (probably the best I've ever tasted), to the monkfish, with truly delicious meat. All accompanied by a breathtaking view. Impeccable cuisine and attentive and punctual service. It's definitely worth it if you want to enjoy high-quality fresh fish!

24/07/2025: Highly recommended. Beautiful place. The seating for two on the terrace around the veranda is beautiful. I admit that the idea of fish tapas for dinner leaves me completely helpless (I love it). However, objectively, I found all three dishes we ordered to be excellent in every way (quantity and quality) and therefore recommended even to those who usually frequent restaurants with more traditional menus. Well done.

As for the quality, the meat wasn't well seasoned, and it was overcooked, which disappointed me a bit. Fish-based dinner: appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts, all delicious and well presented. You can see passion and refinement in the preparation of the dishes and in the presentation. Professional and kind staff, refined and welcoming environment. Excellent wine paired with the dishes (an interesting wine list). Price adequate for the quality of the products and the service. Ultimately, everything excellent. We will return Saverio

20/07/2025: The appetizers were excellent (gratin scallops) and special swordfish rolls, spaghetti alla chitarra with squid ink, chili pepper, and raw prawns. They were out of this world for me, but I love spicy food; my kids aren't used to it and were a bit heated... The fried foods and mussels were good. The desserts deserve a mention, because the parfaits were truly delicious, and the crème brûlée seemed freshly made. The baba was also excellent.

10/03/2025: Piccolo locale nei pressi dell'arco clementino. L'arredo della sala è curato e accogliente. Lo chef si occupa anche del servizio al tavolo. Oltre a poter scegliere alla carta c'è la possibilità di scegliere tra 3 diversi menu che si differenziano per il numero di antipasti presenti. 2 nel piccolo, 3 nel medio e 4 nel grande. A seguire un primo, un secondo e un dolce. La cosa interessante è che il menu te lo puoi costruire come preferisci scegliendo i piatti dal menu. I piatti che più ci hanno colpito sono i 2 antipasti freddi che abbiamo scelto (la tartarre e il carpaccio). Buono anche il riso alla crema di pistacchio e gamberi. Tutti i piatti sono ben impiattati. Prezzo adeguato al servizio e alla qualità di quello che abbiamo mangiato. Interessante il fatto che il menu è stagionale, per cui ogni 3 mesi viene completamente cambiato.

13/07/2025: I'm a regular at Acqua Salata and have always appreciated the restaurant's attention to detail, its splendid location overlooking the sea, and its unique atmosphere, especially at sunset. Last night's dinner was enchanting: beautifully set tables, a meticulously maintained ambiance, and a view that alone makes the evening worthwhile. Unfortunately, compared to the past, I've noticed a decline in the overall quality of the service and experience. The service was rather slow and disorganized: we ordered four entrees, but they arrived at different times, forcing each of us to eat separately while the others waited. This type of management significantly detracts from the experience, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. The dishes were beautifully presented, as always, but I have the feeling that the quality has slipped slightly compared to the past, especially considering the prices—which have increased—and the portions, which are now smaller. I hope this is just a temporary moment and that Acqua Salata will soon return to the levels that made it one of my favorite restaurants in the area.
