08/02/2025: I have been frequenting this restaurant for years, personally always finding it very good. I find it more difficult to find satisfaction in this, where you have the opportunity to see people reinventing, changing, venturing into ever new challenges, than evaluating a place where you have only been once (make or break). Congratulations to all of you at La Mimosa, for the passion and care you always put into it and for the desire to always offer your customers something new and special.

23/12/2024: Very beautiful and particular location, certainly a very respectable business card.
Furnishings so minimal that they seem poor. I understand that this may be the trend towards walls with paintings and furniture, but given the villa, a sideboard, a buffet, a plate rack and some carpets wouldn't be out of place, on the contrary.
Good food. Quality raw materials cooked with refined craftsmanship.
Discrete table service (in the sense of respecting the guest's privacy), perhaps too much though. With what you charge for a quality bottle of wine, there's no way I should be the one to pour it into the glass.
Price not in line with the experience that the chef wants to offer.
22/11/2024: Sono sempre molto critico sulla ristorazione gallaratese, perché spesso i prezzi non sono giustificati dalla qualità dei piatti. Al Wood, in diverse occasioni, a pranzo, a cena e anche in occasione di una festa privata, ho sempre apprezzato sia il servizio che i piatti, molto curati anche in occasione del menu del pranzo.

28/01/2025: Renovated villa. Beautiful and very exclusive location (there is also a private room), there is also a very welcoming veranda for the spring and summer period.
It tastes divine from appetizer to dessert. Their mixed fried food is exceptional.
The former one better than the other.
Fabrizio the chef is very attentive to all the needs of his customers and is also very approachable.
In short, you absolutely must come here to eat.
Highly recommended. ❤️

11/01/2025: We went unexpectedly one evening, on a Sunday, looking for a place that could accommodate 4 of us for a quick dinner.
Nice place, old but elegant furnishings.
The pizza wasn't bad, decent but nothing exceptional, high prices for the quality.
It's also a shame about the service, we waited almost 1 hour to eat our 4 pizzas, in the meantime a table who arrived after us had already finished eating.
The staff too, the waiters were friendly, but the woman at the reception and a waitress really didn't want to be there and it showed.
Too bad, I thought I could enjoy a proper dinner, given the popular place, but instead I was disappointed.
I won't go back there again.

04/02/2025: I was at the Fiordifarina Bistrot in Gallarate and overall the experience was good, but with some negative notes. The place is located right in the center, so very convenient to reach, but parking is quite difficult to find, especially during rush hour.
The environment is quite large and the staff proved friendly and helpful. The pizza is really good, with fresh ingredients and a good variety of options, which I really appreciated.
However, two aspects made the experience less pleasant. First of all, the waiting times were very long: we waited almost an hour for pizzas, an excessive wait even considering how crowded the place was. Furthermore, the price is definitely too high. I understand the quality of the ingredients, but a pizza with fish for €18 is really excessive.
In summary, excellent quality of pizza, but long waits and unjustifiable prices.
25/01/2025: Very nice and quiet place, very friendly and professional staff. Rich menu and you can also find the dishes of the day. I got a pizza and it was great.

08/02/2025: Cheap place, I ask for 4 medium beers they arrive with 4 33ml bottles of beer all different, I ask for wine on the list they arrive with another bottle, I ask for oil they arrive with a bottle from the supermarket, I ask for pepper they arrive with a pepper grinder from the supermarket among other things with little pepper. Spaghetti with clams drowned in oil. Low level.

14/02/2025: I'm sorry I can't give more stars to this wonderful place. It's the third consecutive year we've come for Valentine's Day. Every year the atmosphere is more beautiful, the food shows quality in the raw materials of the product and research in the preparation of the dishes. It is plausible that some dishes may not appeal to everyone. Even though the wine we requested was not available, they managed to recommend an extremely valid alternative that I will certainly purchase personally (the owner gave us his place of trust). The only parameter to improve on is the service. Unfortunately, an hour and forty for the first courses having only served the appetizer after 35 minutes is a little long, considering that we opted for the fixed menu. In addition, the dishes remained on the table almost until the next course arrived. In any case, we trust that next time they will be able to amaze us again. And all in all it was nice to chat about more or less for once

22/08/2024: Some friends recommended this place to me complete with the poster of summer evenings; I, interested and a lover of paella, showed up at the restaurant yesterday 21/08/24, too bad it was closed, the windows were not very clean and there was no post warning of the prolonged closure and/or cancellation of the evening!!!
I can't review the food, the customer welcome and the staff, but this experience leaves me a little hesitant to try to return and live an experience...

26/12/2024: Buonasera.....la pizza a me ed altri non piace perché molto gommosa. Ed non digeribile. Notte in bianco . Verosimile altra recensione la pasta lievita nello stomaco.. la nota positiva molto ricca ben guarnita.... Pizza non la ordinerò mai più
25/12/2024: Clienti abituali e ci siamo sempre trovati bene: piatti buoni e abbondanti. Ieri sera ordino, come al solito, una grigliata di pesce e mi portano un piatto striminzito con un mini calamaro e 4 pezzi di pesce contati.

14/08/2023: Solo per come la "signora" non so se la proprietaria o meno ..ha risposto al telefono quasi infastidita , anche senza quasi , per una prenotazione per quanto mi riguarda possono fallire!!! Si vede che hanno la loro clientela fissa e gli altri li trattano coi pesci che avanzano!
01/08/2023: Scostante … nel senso di “non costante” … e scostante … nel senso di non “affabile”.
A proposito del primo senso ….Il “risultato” nel piatto a volte è wow! a volte è mah?
Visti i prezzi … senza compromessi… anche il risultato tale dovrebbe essere.
A proposito del secondo invece … è tutto rivolto al personale che riceve le prenotazioni e che a volte segue il servizio ai tavoli … che è troppo stressato e stressante tale per cui non ci si sente mai (o almeno noi abbiamo questo feeling) i “benvenuti” … anzi .
Ci sono stato molte volte … in tanti anni e l’ultima ha fatto la differenza. Vero è che invecchiando forse si tollera un po’ meno diventando altrettanto “scostanti”… ma spero che i gestori, volendo fare con passione questo lavoro, prima di buttare nel cestino questa mia recensione… contino fino a 3 … e ne facciano anche un minimo tesoro
