03/01/2025: An innovative and very pleasant gastronomic experience for Christmas lunch. I recommend trying the Mimosa at any time and appreciating the hospitality of the hosts Matteo and Tatiana, which is nothing short of perfect.

23/12/2024: Very beautiful and particular location, certainly a very respectable business card.
Furnishings so minimal that they seem poor. I understand that this may be the trend towards walls with paintings and furniture, but given the villa, a sideboard, a buffet, a plate rack and some carpets wouldn't be out of place, on the contrary.
Good food. Quality raw materials cooked with refined craftsmanship.
Discrete table service (in the sense of respecting the guest's privacy), perhaps too much though. With what you charge for a quality bottle of wine, there's no way I should be the one to pour it into the glass.
Price not in line with the experience that the chef wants to offer.
22/11/2024: Sono sempre molto critico sulla ristorazione gallaratese, perché spesso i prezzi non sono giustificati dalla qualità dei piatti. Al Wood, in diverse occasioni, a pranzo, a cena e anche in occasione di una festa privata, ho sempre apprezzato sia il servizio che i piatti, molto curati anche in occasione del menu del pranzo.

31/12/2024: I come by for work and often get gluten-free pizza. Excellent dough, perhaps too much tomato or mozzarella milk leaves it too wet but as a dough one of the best I've ever tried. For a year now, crazy prices at the indoor café and I'm going there much less often. Paying €24-26 for a simple pizza at midday seems excessive to me.

27/12/2024: Unfortunately for the Christmas lunch there was a misunderstanding about the number of people. Even though they had misunderstood, they still made me pay for the extra person, which I found to be quite unfair. It is advisable to book in writing to avoid misunderstandings.

But alas, this time the desserts we asked for were all - how to say - either prepared on the fly or invented(??) AT THE MOMENT!! - Unfortunately none of us appreciated them. and finished.... I'm sorry to say, very bad,....
13/12/2024: Historic pizzeria, simple but pleasant environment. The pizza was excellent, returning is like rediscovering a taste that was kept in suspense.

10/01/2025: Very clean and well-kept place, I ate the lunch menu but also something à la carte, I never felt bad, very kind and knowledgeable staff. The owners are always smiling and helpful, but in any case in total it is not 5 stars but 4 well-deserved ones, you can really see the desire they have to do things well. It seems empty but in reality I made the video at the end, precisely so as not to film people. As you can see the place is very tidy and clean.
20/12/2024: Lunch menu at €9, poor quality of food, first course linguine with seafood, mixed fried food and French fries, miserable portions and questionable quality, waiters with little attention to the customer (I asked for napkins 10 times) I think it's the last time I'll enter this restaurant run by Chinese

05/11/2024: Particular room with vault and majestic fireplace, relaxing and graceful.
Very kind, not the usual recipes but also more elaborate things. Complete and well-studied dishes, cooked with a lot of passion; gentle tastes, just like the chef.
The new winter menu will be out soon!
We have to go back!

22/08/2024: Some friends recommended this place to me complete with the poster of summer evenings; I, interested and a lover of paella, showed up at the restaurant yesterday 21/08/24, too bad it was closed, the windows were not very clean and there was no post warning of the prolonged closure and/or cancellation of the evening!!!
I can't review the food, the customer welcome and the staff, but this experience leaves me a little hesitant to try to return and live an experience...

25/12/2024: Clienti abituali e ci siamo sempre trovati bene: piatti buoni e abbondanti. Ieri sera ordino, come al solito, una grigliata di pesce e mi portano un piatto striminzito con un mini calamaro e 4 pezzi di pesce contati.

14/08/2023: Solo per come la "signora" non so se la proprietaria o meno ..ha risposto al telefono quasi infastidita , anche senza quasi , per una prenotazione per quanto mi riguarda possono fallire!!! Si vede che hanno la loro clientela fissa e gli altri li trattano coi pesci che avanzano!

A proposito del primo senso ….Il “risultato” nel piatto a volte è wow! a volte è mah?
Visti i prezzi … senza compromessi… anche il risultato tale dovrebbe essere.
A proposito del secondo invece … è tutto rivolto al personale che riceve le prenotazioni e che a volte segue il servizio ai tavoli … che è troppo stressato e stressante tale per cui non ci si sente mai (o almeno noi abbiamo questo feeling) i “benvenuti” … anzi .
Ci sono stato molte volte … in tanti anni e l’ultima ha fatto la differenza. Vero è che invecchiando forse si tollera un po’ meno diventando altrettanto “scostanti”… ma spero che i gestori, volendo fare con passione questo lavoro, prima di buttare nel cestino questa mia recensione… contino fino a 3 … e ne facciano anche un minimo tesoro
