10/07/2025: Terrible. Just terrible! 2-hour wait for food!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food arrived cold! I didn't even eat it, and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the pesto bread! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. This place is simply disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star is just for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant I've ever been to.

22/08/2026: 🐟 Fish Quality Gino's strong point is undoubtedly the quality of his fish, which is always incredibly fresh. His choice to offer a menu that can change based on the catch of the day is highly appreciated, a feature that conveys great attention to the ingredients and their seasonality. 🍽️ Dishes and Portions Despite being a bistro, the portions are decidedly generous and satisfying. The dishes are also meticulously presented, with an elegant presentation that highlights the fish without being overly elaborate. 👩‍💼 Hospitality and Customer Service A special mention goes to the owner, always very present, attentive, and helpful. It's clear how much she cares about her guests' experience: before payment, she personally checks in to see how the dinner went and gathers opinions and impressions. This attention is truly appreciated and demonstrates great care in managing the restaurant. 🤵 Service The service was always attentive and punctual, but never intrusive. The staff manages to look after the table well, maintaining the right balance between attentiveness and discretion, thus giving guests plenty of time and tranquility to enjoy their dinner. 🏡 Restaurant and tavern The restaurant also has a tavern, but we haven't tried it. The experience in the restaurant was so positive that, at least for now, we've always chosen that.

22/08/2026: Excellent service, but the food was very poor and tasteless. The waiters were very strict and didn't even smile.

16/07/2026: Last night at 9:00 PM, I asked to have dinner with a friend. I was rudely "thrown out," saying they didn't have any room (many tables were empty) and that I could MAYBE have dinner in an hour and a half, but the waitress wasn't sure what was left in the kitchen!!! Such treatment was unacceptable on a summer evening in an exclusive tourist spot! I don't recommend it!!!

11/07/2026: I don't judge, but I reflect. In 2026, in a tourist destination like Arenzano, it hurts to still encounter the hesitation of those who aren't "happy" to welcome a wheelchair. My mother is an elderly woman, lucid and aware, but she's no longer able to walk. Finding doors ajar on a Saturday evening, in the summer, is a burning wound. Fortunately, there's a special place: Il Portichetto. When I mentioned that I was with my mother in a wheelchair, they didn't bat an eyelid. They embraced us with immense and natural openness, making everything easier for us. Making a vulnerable person feel even more different is a profound injustice. Not making them feel like a problem, however, is a gift that is good for the soul. What should be the norm has become a touching exception. Those who rejected us will continue to fill the tables, but we will return to Il Portichetto. For the excellent food, for their rare kindness, and because, with disarming spontaneity, they made my mom feel like just who she is: a person. And she was very happy. Thank you so much.
