08/08/2026: I asked for a small cake for 10 people but in reality it was for 20, honestly I had the doubt that it was not from a pastry shop instead I was told that they would have it made there. Honestly the owner is very kind, but I was disappointed by the dessert which cost 80 e (paid 75 e with a little discount) well it seemed a bit too much to me, however the aperitif was very good.

20/04/2026: Two of us without a reservation were seated without any problems. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and professional. The food was excellent. The mussels with pepper, tagliolini with clams, and tuna tataki were out of this world, the best I've ever had. Not to mention the desserts, tiramisu and sorbet, were fantastic. The sea view was obscured by umbrellas, but beautiful nonetheless. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

11/04/2026: I'd like to, but I can't. The quality of the fish is undeniable, but almost all the dishes were tasteless and lacking in flavor. I understand the desire to cook light and delicately, but I don't understand the goal of bringing such fresh fish to the table without wanting to enhance its characteristics. A little garlic, herbs, and temperature variations...it's a real shame, because you could do so much more with that fish...we still had a good time.
22/03/2026: Excellent location near the parking lot, the restaurant has a few indoor tables but a lovely, well-heated veranda. Fortunately, the menu doesn't include many dishes. The fish, for me, living in Novara, is an absolute discovery. No farmed sea bass or sea bream like you'd find elsewhere. All freshly caught fish with names I'm unfamiliar with, with delicate, flavorful flesh. I hope to return soon, because I ate simple, delicious dishes.

We dine there every year. This evening we made a reservation and were disappointed by the staff's rudeness... we left and will never return!

12/08/2026: The two of us stopped for dinner, without a reservation, and opted for pizza, a Bufala and a Tutakamon, two medium beers, and coffee. The quality of the pizza, in my opinion, is excellent, both in terms of the dough and the ingredients. Just one suggestion... Change the knives, especially for those ordering pizza. Nice place with a veranda and friendly, fast, and knowledgeable staff.
11/08/2026: Even though it was almost closing time for the afternoon, we enjoyed an excellent pizza, trofie with pesto, and generous portions of mussels with a spicy sauce, served promptly and warmly by the kind and smiling waitress. The price/quality ratio for the portions was more than fair.

10/07/2025: Terrible. Just terrible! 2-hour wait for food!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food arrived cold! I didn't even eat it, and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the pesto bread! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. This place is simply disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star is just for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant I've ever been to.

16/07/2026: Last night at 9:00 PM, I asked to have dinner with a friend. I was rudely "thrown out," saying they didn't have any room (many tables were empty) and that I could MAYBE have dinner in an hour and a half, but the waitress wasn't sure what was left in the kitchen!!! Such treatment was unacceptable on a summer evening in an exclusive tourist spot! I don't recommend it!!!
11/07/2026: I don't judge, but I reflect. In 2026, in a tourist destination like Arenzano, it hurts to still encounter the hesitation of those who aren't "happy" to welcome a wheelchair. My mother is an elderly woman, lucid and aware, but she's no longer able to walk. Finding doors ajar on a Saturday evening, in the summer, is a burning wound. Fortunately, there's a special place: Il Portichetto. When I mentioned that I was with my mother in a wheelchair, they didn't bat an eyelid. They embraced us with immense and natural openness, making everything easier for us. Making a vulnerable person feel even more different is a profound injustice. Not making them feel like a problem, however, is a gift that is good for the soul. What should be the norm has become a touching exception. Those who rejected us will continue to fill the tables, but we will return to Il Portichetto. For the excellent food, for their rare kindness, and because, with disarming spontaneity, they made my mom feel like just who she is: a person. And she was very happy. Thank you so much.

22/05/2025: Trattoria fuori dal solito lungomare dedicata a menù argentini. Personale molto simpatico e competente, carne con tagli inusuali per l’Italia ma veramente fantastici per sapore consistenza: la carne si scioglie in bocca. Provato Malbec ottimo come accompagnamento. Dolci argentini ovviamente per finire al meglio
