23/05/2025: Stopped for lunch , just found the place on google as we drove . Welcome was friendly, views delightful . Menu is via QR code, which is a pest when you have to keep flipping backwards and forwards , but hey ho it saves on paper! Other diners not too tech savvy had great difficulty getting the menu and ordering, staff were not good in assisting them. Good food choices in the menu, but it was easy to miss items whilst flicking back and forth! Hubbys seafood pasta was good, my tortellini was bland, would have benefited from fresh pieces of fish rather than puréed fish. The fried lake fish was not to our liking, but that may just be personal taste.

21/05/2025: Found a restaurant by chance, very well received by a great server who was attentive despite the language barrier. A place that doesn't look like much, but it offers excellent pizza flavors, tasty pizza at an unbeatable price.

01/12/2024: Ieri sera ospite ad un compleanno sono tornato a mangiare da Sergio, piena disponibilita' a cambiare per alcuni di noi un menu'(pesce) predefinato dal festeggiato .il personale di sala puntuale ed accorto coadiuvato dall' impareggiabile Moira.5 portate magistralmente eseguite con materia prima ottima.bellissima serata tra amici di vecchia data in un ambiente caldo e cibo ottimo , what else?

20/05/2025: We ate at this place on Sunday, May 18, 2025! We hadn't booked but passing by here by chance we liked the location and we stopped! We even didn't know how to eat a pleasant surprise! Fresh and well cooked food and a really good kindness from the staff! We will definitely return and we recommend it to anyone who should find themselves in these parts!

11/05/2025: Historic restaurant, recently renovated in Marta, on Lake Bolsena. Location overlooking the lake furnished with class. Suitable for any type of occasion, perfect both for Sunday family lunches and for romantic dinners as a couple. Excellent food and well-stocked wine cellar. Professional and trained dining room staff. A special mention for Roberta, the owner, who receives guests with spontaneous courtesy and knows how to recommend excellent combinations of dishes and wines. A guarantee. If you pass through this enchanting village in Tuscia, it is worth a visit. I recommend booking in advance, especially in summer, when you can eat at the tables on the lawn right in front of the lake. The restaurant is also a hotel, but I have never used the service as I live nearby, although I have received excellent reviews from those who have stayed there, especially for the availability of the staff and the property. Among the dishes I recommend all the first courses, the tasting of hot and cold fish starters, the fried fish, the always fresh baked or grilled fish and the Whitefish fillet in vine leaves. The eel and all the lake fish dishes are absolutely worth trying.

13/05/2025: Excellent restaurant located inside a cave, a former palace from 1200. Original dishes and truly pleasing to the palate. Friendly and welcoming staff. I will definitely be back.

20/09/2024: A bordo Piscina, l'entrée di tartare di tonno rosso con aromi mediterranei dispone già a una serata scintillante, ingentilita da una briosa bollicina. Ma subito i gusti forti prevalgono con il Tonnarello del Lupo di Mare, col suo mix di cozze sarde e di vongole, calamari e gamberi e chi più ne ha e più ne metta! Alternativa è una Calamarata con ristretto di crostacea semplicemente divina! Tradizione e innovazione si alternano sotto l'occhio vigile di Bruno: lo chef Giampiero trova sempre la giusta dose per accontentare una clientela variegata ed esigente. E allora i Tentacoli di polpo stile gallega e la fragrante Fritturina di paranza ovvero i Gamberi arrosto con limone e basilico restituiscono emozioni, in un agosto caldo ma reso fresco dalla fornita cantina di Bruno.

24/05/2025: Oggi mi trovavo in provincia di Viterbo con un caro amico, in visita al suo paese d'origine, Latera! Con l'occasione mi ha portato sul lago di Bolsena per il pranzo, e...dopo un paio di tentativi falliti perché i locali erano soldout, ci siamo imbattuti per caso nel "Ristorante il Gabbiano"; direi che siamo stati fortunati a fermarci lì, personale squisitamente cordiale e accogliente, cibo SQUISITO...ci siamo orientati sul pesce...e panorama da lasciarci senza fiato!! È stata una giornata di partenza con un clima stupendo e pranzare in riva al lago all'aperto con la giornata meravigliosa che è stata non ha avuto prezzo! Avete una location incredibile e ci sapete davvero fare, soldi spesi BENISSIMO e quando mangio BENE non li rimpiango MAI, a presto e grazie.

16/05/2025: Friendly staff, great location right on the lake, and spectacular at sunset. Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite measure up. The salad consists almost entirely of green lettuce leaves, and the tuna, which cost €22, consisted of two tiny pieces, as is typical in Italy, with no side dishes. In summary, a nice atmosphere but unfortunately overpriced.
