27/07/2025: The atmosphere was refined and the menu offered a varied selection. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was excessively noisy and the wait was too long. The food quality was average, and the value for money was perhaps a bit high for the size of the appetizer served. The main course was okay.

29/08/2025: The restaurant is beautifully decorated and elegant, the service is attentive, the food is excellent and made with fresh ingredients, and the wine list is well-rounded. The slightly steep bill is the only downside, and although "you pay for quality," it still seemed excessive to me.

24/08/2025: Excellent restaurant. The modern venue offers excellent service and the cuisine is simply amazing. Seafood appetizers, spaghetti with clams, and lemon and shrimp ravioli, all fresh and expertly prepared. The prices are moderately high, but the quality of the ingredients makes it all worthwhile. I definitely plan on returning to sample other delicacies from Darian.

25/08/2025: We went to this trattoria on Saturday evening, two couples with two children aged 2.5 years and 10 months. We chose the menu option, which is divided into two options: a first course and a second course, costing €26 and €28 respectively. The first course includes a five-course appetizer, including bruschetta, seafood salad, prawns and potatoes, supplì (rice balls) and fried fish, and finally a delicious cod on chickpea cream. You can choose from three first courses; in our case, we chose spaghetti with seafood and gnocchi with prawn sauce, water, and 1/2 liter of wine. The second course includes the appetizer described above and a second course of your choice; in our case, we chose fried fish and grilled fish. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and the pasta is plentiful. We paid €30 per person for two first courses and two second courses. We'll gladly return.

28/08/2025: From the moment we arrived, the experience was confusing and unwelcoming. The restaurant doors were locked with no instructions on how to enter, and there was nobody at the reception area to greet us. We were seated right away once we got inside and given water, but oddly, it was placed on a side table out of reach, leaving us to get up and refill our own glasses since nobody came back to do it for us. After that, we sat for more than 20 minutes without anyone approaching us. I tried to make eye contact several times and couldn’t even meet eyes with a single employee. When a server finally did come over, there was no warmth or hospitality, just a blunt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told they take your food order first at this restaurant, which was weird considering the table next to us had wine and food menus when we sat down. We were told by the server that a sommelier would come by after placing the food order, but no one ever did. Instead, another staff member dropped off a few breadsticks after 30+ minutes with no drinks or food, with no acknowledgment of the missing drink order, curtly told me to move my menu out of his way. I explained it was still there because I hadn’t been able to order a drink, but he couldn’t have cared less. The entire interaction felt dismissive and rude. All the while, other tables had multiple staff members hovering over them, making the lack of attention to us even more glaring. When we finally decided to leave, the staff’s response was apathetic at best, and again, delivered with attitude. We’ve visited several Michelin restaurants across Italy, and the service has always been extraordinary. This, however, was the worst dining experience of our trip. For a restaurant with such a reputation, the indifference and rudeness were shocking. In the end, the casual pizza place across the street treated us far better and was infinitely more enjoyable.

28/08/2025: We were seated immediately and given water, but that was the only positive part of the experience. We then waited over 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. When someone finally arrived, there was no welcome, no explanation of the menu—just a curt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told the sommelier would come by, but after another 15 minutes no one ever showed up. At that point, we gave up. In total, we sat from 8:45 to 9:20 and had nothing but water. Meanwhile, every other table seemed to have 3–4 staff attending to them, which made us feel completely ignored and unwelcome. When we explained we were leaving, the response was dismissive and full of attitude. We’ve dined at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants across Italy, and the service has been outstanding everywhere else. Here, it was the worst experience of our trip. Honestly, the pizza place across the street that we settled on was far more welcoming and ultimately enjoyable.

12/07/2025: Italy has great food, Mimmo’s has extraordinary food, in addition to exceptional service. Mimmo’s son served us and he was so delightful. He was bantering with his mom who was an absolute goddess. We felt so at home, like part of their family/community. We were a party of 3, so we tried the specials and everyone ordered something different so we could share. The food was really off the charts and despite strong competition over 10 days in Italy- that night was the best!

24/07/2025: A beautiful place, very convenient for its proximity to Fiumicino Airport. The rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds. The kindness and helpfulness of the owner, Maurizio, made all the difference in choosing this place. He greeted us upon arrival and explained how the property works. The kitchen fridge had water, soft drinks, and coffee available. Maurizio offered us a shuttle service to the airport. The garden is a great place to relax and even have breakfast outside...a truly beautiful place to see. Just steps from the canal, which allows you to stroll along shops and restaurants. I recommend the restaurant Maurizio recommended: Fish Take Away, which is on the long canal just steps away; it's very good and affordable. It's not the first time we've booked here, and we've never been disappointed! In fact, we always want to return! Thanks again, Maurizio, for your kindness; you make all the difference! I'll definitely be back!

17/07/2025: I was torn between reviewing this "gem" of a restaurant or, as in all special situations, being selfish and keeping this restaurant's knowledge to myself and my friends. Then a birthday came up, and we decided to go to I Conti because, given the affection I have for the birthday boy, I wanted everything to be memorable. The first thing to say is that the owners, Mrs. Rosanna and her husband Fabrizio, are capable, while always maintaining a professional approach, of making you feel like a welcome guest, the kind of person who, when he comes to our home, we would do anything to make him happy...that's how they are...and we know that "pampering" and fantastic food are always a highly appreciated and sought-after combination. Since this review comes after many lunches and dinners spent there, I want to make it good, honest, and structured. Let's start with the menu: always the freshest, seasonal, and top-quality dishes, and consequently (and rightly so) the dishes, refined in their apparent simplicity, follow the changing seasons... and our artists, Rosanna and Fabrizio, present us with this rich menu. Among the appetizers, seafood, raw fish (prime oysters), all lightly seasoned with extra virgin olive oil to allow the palate to distinctly experience every aroma the sea offers, tender cod masterfully fried and topped with slices of fresh truffle (and much more). The first courses are truly mind-blowing (strictly homemade pasta) and prepared with the flair of culinary genius... and this leaves you struggling to choose the dish you want to reward yourself with, perhaps after a day's work!... Then, with Rosanna's advice, everything becomes clear, and the choice you make will be the perfect one for that dinner. Among the main courses, I'd like to mention two must-haves: the Catalan-style lobster (a dream!) or, for those who prefer meat, the fantastic pork shank. Now I'll move on to two aspects that make the difference in a restaurant: desserts and the wine cellar. Rosanna, the queen of desserts, all conceived, crafted, and decorated by her, to which she dedicates entire afternoons to ensuring her customers always find the freshest and most innovative treats. Now I turn to Fabrizio and thank him for the care, knowledge (he's a sommelier), and professionalism with which he recommends a wine... in so many lunches and dinners, he has always interpreted exactly what I wanted at that moment. He takes great care to keep his wine cellar always capable of satisfying even the most refined palates, and each time he tries new wineries (always top-notch) to reward even the young winemakers... not to mention the spirits, bitters... and if by chance you ask for a grappa or cognac, which he doesn't have, if he can, the next time he'll have it for you. I'll close by apologizing for being long-winded, but I want to say one last thing: perhaps the best feeling when you leave I Conti is the serenity you feel in this place! 26/07/2025: If you happen to arrive a bit late in rome fuimicino and need a place to have dinner search no more!!!! This place is amazing, from the beautiful perekeet at the door to the servers that help you decide what to choose from the menu, I got the tonnorane which is spaghetti with tuna chunks and olives... yummy Definitely going back.

11/08/2025: A good seafood restaurant with generous and, above all, well-cooked dishes. A varied menu featuring classics and a few new dishes. I would recommend making the fried fish a little crispier. The place is welcoming and very clean. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair.

05/08/2025: "Da Jair" is funny, but for many new diners, it's just a traditional seafood restaurant. The reality is that there's an exceptional cultural and gastronomic legacy here, first with Jair, to whom painters dedicated paintings and poets recited poems in his name. Today, Ettore carries on all this with respect and attention to reform. I just went to get some creamy scampi risotto to go. While I was eating it, my heart skipped a beat, like watching a movie about your life, a flavor that transcends tradition, history, and gastronomy. Jair is a slice of life for all of us citizens of Fiumicino, and obviously a rewarding experience with a thousand thoughtful touches for those trying it for the first time.
