30/12/2024: We often come to this place in the center of Veroli, always found it to be very good, but yesterday's experience was nothing short of exceptional! Despite the presence of only one waiter who apologized again and again for perhaps a slightly longer waiting time (which for us was non-existent), we ate excellently, I think the best fettuccine with porcini mushrooms I've ever eaten until now. Now! A beautiful reality that we already know, but which we will continue to support because they truly deserve it!

29/12/2024: We ate in a clean, satisfying, medieval setting. But it has a big flaw because they brought us the dishes an hour after ordering and in addition to this delay the dishes were original but not good

28/12/2024: Dopo più di un anno sono tornato in questo piccolo locale del centro storico di Frosinone, rinomato per la cucina di pesce. Le proposte di antipasti e primi assaggiati (menu concordato precedentemente) confermano la qualità della materia prima e la bontà dei piatti. Buona anche la scelta dei vini. Servizio sempre cordiale.

18/12/2024: The best fish in Frosinone. Very fresh raw, seared tuna simply amazing. Excellent service, slightly small location but, precisely for this reason, it makes you feel at home. Pasquale is always very kind and Carmine is a guarantee in the kitchen, but we also want to applaud the waitresses who are always very attentive and have an extra edge. Good wine list.

30/12/2024: Simple menu, no frills, just good stuff. Cuisine like it used to be. Everything is delicious and worth trying from starters to desserts. The house wines are also not bad. Quick, courteous and professional service, small details that are not always found (at least in Rome), such as the water bottle uncorked at the table, the immaculate cloth tablecloths and napkins and the change of cutlery between first and second courses, little things that they are always a pleasure. Very generous portions and prices that are worth the trip from Rome.

20/12/2024: We went in October for my father's birthday... What can I say: everything was excellent... Stunning location right in the center of the town with a spectacular view of the valley. Quality fresh fish and generous portions.. We started with a seafood appetizer, fusilli alla reef (there was so much fish that you couldn't see the pasta), sea bream en crust with prawns.. Sweet fruit (spectacular thousand leaves)... Competent and attentive staff. Reserved parking. Excellent value for money

09/12/2024: Ogni volta che torniamo al Grottino è sempre una bellissima esperienza culinaria, ma non solo… il servizio è impeccabile, il personale gentilissimo e preparato, la location curata nel minimo dettaglio… tutto squisito, dal primo, alla frittura, al dolce… che dire, per mangiare pesce buonissimo e avere un’esperienza a 360 gradi non possiamo che consigliarlo a tutti!

26/10/2024: unfortunately we're not quite there with the carbonara, the flavor of the sauce is too flat and soft. you couldn't smell the egg and cheese, not even the cheese plate was served. finally, there was very little bacon, but given the quality, it was better that way. the tiramisu ok, but the ladyfingers few, all cream. high prices, first course + dessert and water are between €15 and €20 in total.

23/12/2024: Ottima carta dei vini. Eccellente menu. Crudi freschissimi. I ricci sono straordinari. Servizio accorto e non invadente. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Certamente da tornare.

24/10/2024: Siamo tornati dopo molto molto tempo, la qualità è impeccabile come sempre, è mancata attenzione: tempi lunghi con due bimbi la prima portata dopo 40 min è un tantino eccessiva, ordinate ostriche non arrivate ma nemmeno presenti nel conto comunque. i primi ottimi ma per nostro gusto troppo conditi (avevamo specificato di preferire poco condimento) Chiesto vino al calice secco, arrivata cantina Ulisse (ottimissimo ma certo non dal sapore secco) il secondo calice vino diverso nello stesso bicchiere senza presentare che fosse diverso (stavolta secco). Per il dolce dopo 1 ora e 15 min non c’è stato tempo. Torneremo ovviamente

02/01/2025: we booked the restaurant by chance, we were traveling on the A1, the staff were immediately kind, friendly and smiling, welcoming me, my daughter and my wife, delicious lunch, excellent view, very clean and welcoming bathrooms and lounge. I repeat the genuinely kind and smiling staff! we will definitely be back, what a pleasant discovery.. thank you!

02/01/2025: We spent 12/31/24 with dinner and overnight stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms were warm, perhaps the only thing that was missing was the music but we solved it on our own, there were 18 of us so there was no shortage of ideas. Excellent breakfast. I recommend it
