02/07/2025: Brava!!!!! L’amore per la cucina, la capacità di rapportarsi con gli altri e la voglia di fare contenti gli ospiti sono gli ingredienti di questo locale. La titolare/chef, aiutata dal figlio in sala, è una persona speciale, che ci ha guidato in un percorso di degustazione “personalizzato “, dove ogni piatto ci ha stupito…… sei accolto dal pane con lievito madre, dal muffin salato con diversi tipi di burro e sfogliate al finocchio, …. Poi iniziano gli antipasti, dove l’omaggio a Pollock sembrava veramente un quadro, e le diverse maionesi erano i colori….. Per passare alla patata viola ripiena di baccalà mantecato, ai tortelli di polipo alla’amatriciana e ai cannelloni al coregone su crema di curcuma, alla quaglia ripiena di calamaro, al babamisu’ (babà con crema e crema al caffè)!!! Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo…… un posto che consiglio se volete passare una serata “speciale ‘!!!

19/06/2025: Not a dinner but a beautiful experience. We chose the 4-course tasting but we also added a fifth course because we liked it so much. Everything was excellent, I couldn't say what I liked the most because every dish was good. The very nice waiter pampered us from start to finish. The price was in line with the quality and the environment was anything but a tavern

25/06/2025: If you want to organize an intimate dinner with attention to detail, La Briciola is the perfect restaurant for the occasion. An elegant location, with convenient parking and far from the chaos of the city. Upon arrival, the staff's welcome is impeccable, they lead you to the table and begin to pamper you with the various hot delicacies, which are never lacking. The menu is designed to satisfy every palate, even that of the little ones. The raw materials are of quality, while if you opt for a fish menu the freshness is guaranteed, and finally the desserts, what can I say, sublime! The environment is truly very relaxing and the waiting times are appropriate for those who want to spend a quiet evening. Excellent restaurant, congratulations!

08/07/2025: A small, charming, and welcoming family-run restaurant. We're in Rome, and to spend a pleasant evening with my wife and sister-in-law, just steps from St. Paul's Outside the Walls, we went for dinner at "Bacetto Bistrot." Everything was delicious, and for dessert: chocolate cake. Perfect service. Kind and very friendly staff. PS: There's no photo of the dessert because it was devoured in a flash 😋

01/06/2025: Read until the end! The food was great! Only the pasta was undercooked but the rest of the food was awesome. We were 4 people. Everything was good until the moment the waiter brought the bill almost double the price expected. We talked to the owner who deeply apologized and said it was a mistake. However, it was not. They see foreigners and they want to scam you! I would suggest this place only if you’re ready to fight for your money at the end. They haven’t shown any regret and haven’t even apologized properly. I would suggest avoiding this place. Deeply disappointed!

09/05/2025: The atmosphere was great. It suits those who wants to have a date with other half. Appetizers tasted great but not the pasta. We order 4 different types of pasta. It was under cooked and too salty. We ended up having the second meal at Osteria da Fortunata.

25/06/2025: An evening at Ristorante Pirò, in the heart of Rome, is an experience that will remain in your memory. From the first moment you can feel the attention to detail, that rare care that is found both in the dishes and in the atmosphere. The chopped red prawns was simply unforgettable: very fresh, balanced, with that delicacy that only the expert hand of someone who really knows the raw material can enhance. Each bite was a small masterpiece of flavor, a hymn to the most authentic sea. The fish, in general, is surprisingly fresh, which is clearly evident in every course, from raw fish to first courses. You immediately sense that behind every choice there is a rigorous selection of the product and great sensitivity in the processing. Nothing is left to chance. The service also deserves special praise: attentive, thoughtful, always present but never intrusive. The staff is welcoming, kind and makes the experience relaxed and very pleasant. Finally, a detail that makes the difference and that elsewhere is increasingly rare: silence. The atmosphere is intimate and quiet, perfect for a peaceful conversation, without having to raise your voice, without being disturbed by intrusive noises. 10/07/2025: Finalmente dopo tanto tempo sono riuscito a venire a mangiare in questo ristorante storico in zona Portuense a pochi passi dal mercato domenicale di Porta Portese È vicino alla stazione di Trastevere. Ristorante di cucina sarda. Devo dire che appena entrato Ho avuto una bellissima impressione e con l'arrivo dei piatti ho avuto conferma della loro bravura nella preparazione e nella cura e nella scelta delle materie prime. Personale scrupoloso e attento alle esigenze della clientela. Abbiamo preso una serie di antipasti e a seguire un ottimo primo di pesce. Per finire Mirto gelato e dolcetti della casa. Una bellissima esperienza da ripetere a breve

If I may, I would pay a little more attention to cooking the fish, because to be an excellent fish restaurant it is not enough to have a 10 raw fish, you also have to cook it well, and something was a little overcooked.

29/06/2025: Who says restaurants near major attractions must be scammy tourist traps! If you want something other than pasta and pizza, here's a good option. (They do have some pasta on the menu, but we were aiming for a low carb meal that day) The restaurant located near the Colosseum just around the corner on a side street. There's an outdoor dining area but we ate inside, fancy and traditional looking space. We ordered the cooked appetizer set, which was pricey but allowed us to try a lot of different dishes. And for the main we got mixed grilled seafood. The dishes were made competently, fresh ingredients. A satisfying meal to wrap up a fun trip to Italy.
