02/08/2026: Unfortunately, there are serious issues with the service. The food itself is good, but the takeout service is a disaster. The wait times are extremely long (just under an hour for a first course), they don't communicate with customers, and the waiting area is ridiculously hot, incompatible with summer service times. Unfortunately, the girl at the desk is helpful but doesn't speak Italian. Since they don't accept phone and/or online orders, you're forced to wait an hour in the sun for a takeout first course. Under these conditions, it's definitely not worth it.

27/07/2026: What happened? Where did the old Caveja go? When a historic, popular, and crowded restaurant decides to become a self-service restaurant, completely eliminating waiters and table service, and forcing you to become a waiter yourself, getting up to fetch plates, clear the table, and reorder drinks, something must have happened? I don't know the reason for this decision, I don't know the motives, but this is no longer the restaurant I frequent every year, for the past 10 years. And it would be right to change its name as well, from restaurant to self-service, which is what it has truly become. And the food isn't the same either: the spaghetti with spicy mussels is still good, but the fried food served is sparse and no longer has that characteristic flavor. The prices were already good before, and they remain so, but with the savings from eliminating waiters, one might even expect a slight reduction, which hasn't happened. I don't know what happened, I can't explain it, and I hope one day to see a reversal and return to the friendly, attentive table service of the past. For now, I can only object to this decision, which saddens everything—an informal, joyless, sad atmosphere, truly sad. I'd like to offer a piece of advice: get rid of the pager and make it a takeaway, which is always busy and popular even on Thursdays. It would improve your image, too.

04/05/2026: The dishes were average. The location is in a nice area, obviously just steps from the sea. The quality/price ratio is okay. The only flaw, which makes the difference in my opinion, is the service. This isn't meant as a criticism, but rather as an observation: you can't serve customers in a rude and condescending manner; from that perspective, it's bad...

22/08/2026: Classic tourist trap. I ordered a shrimp carpaccio (from the raw fish list, not the appetizers) for €32 and received a very thin piece (it must have been two shrimp, being kind). When I asked if this was the right dish, I was very arrogantly told a simple yes. I've attached a photo for those curious 😂 The tiramisu cost €12, clearly packaged and not even good. I understand it's high season, but it's clearly out of proportion with the prices at other restaurants in the area where I've had much better meals.

21/08/2026: A real insider tip for anyone who's ever wondered what a tourist trap in the upscale price range looks like. The food was perfectly acceptable, not a complete disaster, but nothing to write home about either. However, the bill held a few surprises: a €5 service charge per person, apparently now part of the special dining experience. Particularly impressive: a 0.33-liter can of Coke for a whopping €7, which, of course, wasn't on the menu. Why would it be? Transparency is completely overrated, after all. In short: the food was okay, the prices very ambitious, and the bill considerably more entertaining than expected. If you're happy to pay more for a can of Coke than you would for a full lunch elsewhere, plus a €5 service charge per person, then this is the place for you. A tourist trap with a premium markup—you can go, but you don't have to.

18/08/2026: Super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable waitress! Comfortable atmosphere, lots of tables! And delicious food, both the pizzas and the fish-based entrees and desserts! And the wine was delicious! Highly recommended!

15/08/2026: This restaurant deserves five stars overall; the courtesy and friendliness of the waiters are top notch. We ate there for lunch, and I can say that from the appetizer to the fish-based main course, the food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it 100%!

10/08/2026: The pizza is delicious but in the middle of one pizza my daughter found a piece of metal wire, I don't understand how the staff can allow this. The worst impression is made by the unfriendly staff. The man who plays the role of a gendarme in the punishment cell rejects any desire to return there. If you want to be ignored, this is the place for you.

30/07/2026: If it weren't for the view... avoid! The waiters, their first experience, made a series of mistakes. The second wine was opened only after the second course arrived (basically when we were on our last bite, even though it had been ordered half an hour earlier), glasses were changed (and then they couldn't remember where to serve them)... basically, it didn't seem like they were actually waiters, but were just there by chance.

14/02/2026: Repeatedly calling and getting a busy message means they're open and on the phone. Google says it's open and I'll be arriving after an hour's drive, but it's closed for vacation. Damn, why not update the hours on Google? Just to keep people moving.

24/01/2026: We ordered pizzas for dinner, one of which was burnt, one with raw and cold potatoes, and others with dough that was too thin, like piadina, and all the mozzarella and tomato slipped off the slice of pizza... I've been there several times before and the pizzas were very good, but this time they really messed up... I'm sorry to devalue the place like this, especially since the atmosphere is very nice.

18/08/2026: We've come here a few times as a family and have always been treated very warmly. Even when we had a mishap, the staff reacted kindly. I absolutely cannot agree with the negative reviews. Anyone who behaves like a respectful guest here will be treated very warmly in return. The food is delicious. The playground, located very close to the dining area, allows parents some peace and quiet while they eat. The entire area is easy to supervise, which gives children plenty of freedom. The prices are perfectly reasonable. The restrooms are well-maintained. You can easily spend a relaxing whole day here.
