21/12/2025: I've eaten there three times, coming from Bologna specifically because, believe me, it's worth the trip: top-quality seafood, a warm and friendly welcome, detailed descriptions of the dishes, and impeccable service. The ravioli with fish sauce are a simple yet irresistible first course; the tuna tartare is incredibly fresh; the lasagna is sublime; the stew with prawns and shrimp (accompanied by double polenta) is a delightful surprise. Even though it's always busy, you can still converse without raising your voice. Parking is available in front of the restaurant or nearby, always free. A must-try!

22/02/2026: We were here on Valentine's Day evening. It's a beautiful, welcoming place with an intimate atmosphere. The staff who served us were knowledgeable and courteous. The food was good, but unfortunately the entrees arrived lukewarm, probably because it was so crowded. The price was fair (the website isn't up to date, though).

08/02/2026: Breakfast was very poor. I expected tomatoes, cucumbers, and greens. There was no fruit except for apples. Only two types of cheese are insufficient for a 4-star hotel. The bread was all the same, dry and hard. The bakery section should have had a wider variety. They bring the coffee themselves, and you have to wait a while in the middle of breakfast. The rooms, however, were clean and tidy.

05/02/2026: Historic hotel in the historic center of Lugo in a logistically perfect location. Large, bright rooms, the white color triumphs. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a modern and usable shower. Well heated. On the other hand, the rooms are a bit cold. The temperature is not manageable by the user. At night, the corridor light is always on and filters from under the door. Sensors and LEDs illuminate the room too much. The kettle and coffee machine in the room lose the fifth star for some small things that could be improved. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. I would go back.

20/03/2026: I had dinner with a very dear friend who knows the chef. He said, "Let's go eat at Lowe's, I know the chef and he's amazing." Looking at the menu, I wanted to order everything! But obviously we had to "settle" for the shrimp hot dog, the monkfish sandwich, the creamed cod crostini, and the cocoa flatbread filled with ricotta mousse, saba, and candied orange. Well done. Kudos also to the young and attentive waitresses. Thank you, and see you soon.

Everything, from the appetizers to the first courses, main courses, and desserts, is worth trying. Today, like every day, we chose to be hungry. Okay, let's be serious: we needed a place that could welcome us at noon in Marina, so we could then go and celebrate downtown in peace. Our choice fell on the Nuova Rosa dei Venti. The name comes from a technical instrument that indicates the direction of the winds through the arrangement of diamonds that, when stacked on top of each other, resemble rose petals. We enter and the waiter directs us to the upper floor. The place is a sort of square room where the blue and beige accents recall sand and sea; there are small fish and a few Christmas leftovers along with bunches of grapes, but the window overlooking the harbor reminds us of our calm morning, where time seems to have stood still. The water is so smooth and still it feels like precious silk. A soft, white light envelops everything like a delicate veil: you no longer see the edges of the world, but only feel the magic of a perfect moment. We had 😋: Appetizers: • Cold mixed salad: - Scallop au gratin: its white, firm flesh melted in the mouth; the golden crust protecting this pearl was the final touch. - Catalan-style prawns: tender, fresh, and crackling. - Marinated anchovies: beautiful, tender, and plump, bold yet refined. That drop of orange juice could awaken even the most sleepy palates. - Seafood and vegetable salad: simple and natural. Certainly preferable this way to the vinegared version, but in this dish, the simplicity bordered a bit on the boring. - Prawns with mayonnaise: the prawns were delicious, but we had serious doubts about whether the mayonnaise was homemade. • First courses: • Spaghetti with clams: every bite evoked summers spent at the seaside, under the scorching sun and the sea breeze. A profound dish full of passion. We devoured it: does that give you an idea of ​​its deliciousness? • Chitarra allo scoglio with shellfish: the porous, coarse pasta held the sauce beautifully. Good and hearty, with a sweet, sugary tomato. • Second courses • Grilled seafood on skewers: simple and honest, without any particular highlights. The welcome started off quietly—a bit cold and silent—but as the minutes passed, the staff managed to warm up the atmosphere, transforming the service into something human and warm. Ultimately, between Demogorgons, Spiderman, and princesses, we enjoyed summer in February.
