18/05/2026: There were 30 of us, including parents and children, who were there for a sports competition. We were immediately greeted with unacceptable faces and grimaces from the waiters. We were given looks that I had never seen before that day. The waiter who served us had inappropriate attitudes. I'm sorry to write this because the food overall was good, except for the mixed omelette. The rest of the restaurant was clean and beautiful.

01/05/2026: From my experience, I don't understand the negative reviews. We had a good meal, and it was plentiful. They didn't try to overcharge us; in fact, they "limited" us because they knew we were over-ordering. The staff was kind; they made a minor mistake and corrected one pizza at their own expense. They were patient and let us celebrate well past opening time. We'll definitely be back.

Open for lunch from Monday to Friday..... Friday lunch with fish always from the fixed menu at 17 euros.... Generous and high quality portions... If you are in the area it is the ideal place for a lunch characterised by authenticity..... Kind and attentive staff... Compliments to Mrs. Bianca and all the staff.... Promoted with full marks....!!!!

10/05/2026: Very friendly staff but the room wasn't clean and didn't work properly with a broken vent in the bathroom and an air conditioner so old I asked them to turn it off abundant breakfast and very friendly reception

Before arriving, I asked about slippers and was told they would be in the room, but I didn’t find any upon check-in. The breakfast quality was not very good and there wasn’t much variety. 06/06/2026: I went to Il Gabbiano last week with my wife. I had spaghetti with clams, and she had pizza. Everything was excellent, especially the spaghetti, so much so that we went back yesterday because my wife absolutely had to try it. The result was identical, truly excellent and generous with both pasta and clams. The only small complaint was the long wait. Luckily, both times, Stefano (the guy who served us) made the wait less boring with his kindness and attentiveness. A little tip: if you know the wait might be long, it doesn't take long to bring a "courtesy" piadina. Still, highly recommended, and if you can, have Stefano serve you!

29/05/2026: Lunch, two people, we wanted baked fish but were told it wasn't available, so we ordered two tuna steaks, one tomato salad (specifying only tomato), and a grilled vegetable. We received a mixed salad with a little tomato, lots of lettuce, and lots of garlic, sliced ​​into wedges. The two steaks arrived, not tuna but swordfish, and full of Parmesan shavings. My friend is lactose intolerant, and the menu lists the allergens, but the number 7 (lactose) isn't listed (see photo of the menu and the swordfish steak). When we immediately pointed this out, the chef came from the kitchen and attacked us, saying that the steak requires cheese and that it goes well with fish too! Extremely angry, we preferred not to argue. The waitress doesn't understand Italian, she's not an expert at serving, the quality is poor, and the prices are too high: she took a tagliata off the bill, but 1 appetizer of octopus and potatoes (full of tomato and garlic salad!), 2 bottles of water, 1 bottle of Vermentino, 1 grilled vegetable, 1 salad (with chunks of garlic), and a tagliata (invisible strips of who knows what fish, left whole because it was full of chunks of garlic, practically the same salad already brought and put everywhere) came to 84 euros! The fish didn't arrive... they don't attack customers like this, and the ingredients must be specified by law! I strongly advise against it.

08/05/2026: I highly recommend it!!!! The place is very small but intimate and very welcoming. The food is very good. Fish is their specialty, but they also have a meat-based menu. The rum baba is amazing!!!!!
