18/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant as a couple. It's a beautiful location overlooking Positano. We ate divinely. The dinner was enlivened and enlivened with music by the delightful Antonio, an added bonus to this already beautiful location.
13/10/2025: From being picked up at our hotel by none less than the owner, all the way through to the return journey afterwards, we had the most memorable night at Il Pino.
It has a very family run feel, which is great! The service was brilliant and not only efficient but full of laughs and chats.
The food was outstanding! One of the best meals we had on our Amalfi leg.
Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more and we will certainly be back if we visit Praiano again.

31/10/2025: Really lovely food and we accidentally ordered a cheese dish and told them to charge us since we thought it was pasta but they said it’s okay and didn’t charge us. But all of the food was amazing and definitely worth it. The staff was amazing and super sweet. They kept checking on the heating as well.

10/11/2025: Amazing place! Spectacular sea views, a relaxing atmosphere, and super friendly staff. We had lunch just a few meters from the water with truly delicious dishes: a fresh seafood appetizer, flavorful seafood paccheri, and a light dessert with cream and strawberries that was simply heavenly.
A glass of white wine, a sea breeze, and a breathtaking view... what more could you ask for?
After lunch, we also enjoyed an aperitif overlooking the sea, and it was simply perfect.
La Gavitella is one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy the Amalfi Coast in all its splendor. ❤️

04/01/2026: No better Italian experience than here! Family owned and run by the most welcoming people! We loved our food, the lasagna was homemade and the best we've ever had. Beautiful views of an old church and the Amalfi Coast. I wish I could eat there every meal!

23/10/2025: An absolutely beautiful spot! My husband and I only ordered a drink each, but they offered us two slices of pizza as a gift. The drinks were wonderful, and the pizza was by far the best we have had so far on the Amalfi Coast. The prices are more expensive, but it was a fabulous experience.
19/10/2025: We were staying nearby and had several meals at this lovely restaurant. We tasted several appetizers, pastas, mains and pizzas and enjoyed all of them. Every dish is freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The service is very friendly. We particularly enjoyed the risotto, the grilled fish, the stuffed pumpkin flower, the pizza and the semi-Freddo dessert. We would highly recommend Moressa.

07/11/2025: Was really hopeful it would be great!
Kids spaghetti fine, but nothing amazing.
Pumpkin risotto was good.
Meatballs were raw and sent back. Packaged up as take away and got home... for them to STILL be raw.
All of that for the low price of almost 150 euros.
Much better places to eat on the coast.
Skip it.
28/10/2025: Service was excellent, the food is good, and we definitely enjoyed our dinner. Be sure to make reservations. This restaurant is recommended. Americans please note that the portions are small, relative to typical American expectations for dinner. You definitely need an appetizer with your meal if you are hungry. No salads or vegetables, which is also different relative to typical American meals. This restaurant is not unique in the general lack of vegetables for dinner. We experienced this across Italy and Denmark during our trip, so this must be typical.

03/11/2025: Cute, vibey spot by the water with great views and a welcoming staff. The grandpa/owner was more than welcoming, and we felt like family. Half bottles of wine was nice as well.
Wow. Get the grilled anchovies. Youll thank me later.
All the pasta were cooked perfectly and the seafood tasted amazingly fresh. Probably one of the most fresh ones we’ve had on the trip.
Its a bit out of the way for most, but it seems to be a nice hidden gem/locals spot. Definitely coming back here next time we’re in amalfi coast.

30/10/2025: A real tourist trap! The menu is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Everything was poorly cooked — the fish was dry, the risotto far from what a proper risotto should be, and the pasta equally disappointing.
Yes, the location is convenient on the Amalfi road, with a charming terrace surrounded by lemon trees and a pleasant view — but that’s about it. Such careless cooking and disregard for food make a disservice to the many excellent restaurants in the area.
Definitely not worth the prices they charge.
25/10/2025: Truly excellent restaurant, excellent cuisine, friendly and sociable staff, equally excellent service from friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend it.

05/06/2025: Chegamos pra jantar bem no por do sol. A vista e o cenário são deslumbrantes. O forte do local é a pizza feita ali quase na sua frente, num forno no próprio terraço onde fica o restaurante. Adoramos!

12/10/2024: Tutto perfetto come sempre dalla cucina allo staff sempre attentissimo e premuroso...Il baccalà in temperatura è assolutamente spaziale...
10/10/2024: Brood word niet gevraagd, kost dus wel 7 euro, voorgerecht redelijk, maar kwaliteit prijs niet goed, flesje wijn gezellig maar alleen het eerste glas wordt ingeschonken, gaven aan even te willen wachten met het hoofdgerecht, maar was er binnen twee minuten, dit weer weggestuurd en gezegd een kwartiertje te willen wachten. Inmiddels was dus mijn gerecht soort van kabeljauw soep, en de gebakken vis van mijn partner kan je ook bij de visboer aan de kar halen. 19.15 waren wij binnen en waren 20.45 weer in ons hotel. Met dank voor hun shuttle service (dat is dan wel positief). Kortom denk niet dat je een gezellig avondje uit eten gaat.
