One of the few bars where you don't sut directly on the street. The garden with the lemon trees is the main highlight, a really hidden gem.

29/07/2025: Having heard from several friends about a place where the food is good, I chose this place, confident I wouldn't go wrong.
The place is beautiful, the service is exquisite, but it fell short of expectations.
The fish is excellent, but the first courses are disappointing; the experience is lacking.
We shared a swordfish appetizer with eggplant cream. The fish was excellent, but the eggplant lacked something to enhance and enhance the swordfish.
The two first courses were good and edible, but
I would have added a tarallo-style crunch to the spaghetti with anchovy sauce, and some anchovies and marjoram to enhance the flavor.
The pasta with Cetarese pesto is missing a spice other than basil, garlic, oil, and pine nuts. It needed a crunchy touch with almonds and thyme, along with some dried tomato powder.
Serving someone who cooks is difficult, and I understand.
We didn't choose the second course for fear of being disappointed again.
Anyway, thanks for serving us.

05/06/2025: Never again! The food is out... (I'm holding back here). It was horrible. We didn't want to pay anything. It was quite a hassle; we had to fight to avoid paying. English isn't their strong suit. I asked for the boss and went there with Google Translate.
I don't recommend it!
04/06/2025: Decent food but room for improvement. Service relatively slow, waiters were too busy.

27/08/2025: My personal impression is that this restaurant "was better before."
I returned after several years. I was a regular. Then work took me elsewhere.
For four people, without wine or dessert, just one course each consisting of two fried calamari with sides and two cutlets with fries. €116, I think the price is a bit high. The service remained impeccable and courteous.

09/08/2025: We visited Ristorante Mario e Maria on August 7th for dinner reserved a table for seven , sat in the out door patio section . I must say we were seated within minutes which right away gave me a good feeling about this restaurant, it surpassed my expectations, this is by far one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at . The restaurant is very clean and gives you that at home feeling. , its a family owned restaurant and that is exactly how you feel when you come here to eat , they treat you like family , the seafood is out of this world , the frittura and mussels are amazing couldn’t stop eating them we ordered 4 servings that’s how good they were . The orata , risotto and margarita pizza were also amazing . The servers which were father and son , down to earth genuine great people we had an amazing experience at this restaurant., the price was decent but most important you felt the value in the food and how fresh and amazing it tasted. My family and I would definitely revisit this restaurant 110 percent and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Maiori, take it from my family and I give this restaurant a chance to show you what food at its best is, believe me you’ll be glad you did. Like they same in Italian complimenti chef e grazie mille Ristorante Mario e Maria .

01/08/2023: Splendida esperienza, nel ristorante dell'hotel Botanico, con salita in funicolare panoramica privata da Maiori al ristorante.
Ottimo servizio e ottimi piatti. Panorama mozzafiato e cucina espressa preparata al momento.
Ineccepibile.
Elevata la qualità delle etichette nella carta dei vini e possibilità di mescita a calice.
