26/06/2026: A fantastic experience at this restaurant. We ordered several courses and were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The mushroom rice was perfectly prepared, and the meat with arugula and cheese shavings also won over everyone at the table. The pizza served on a wooden board was a wonderful surprise, crispy and flavorful. We will definitely be back to try other specialties.

16/07/2026: A very rustic and quaint experience at the Locanda. The owner, a theater actor, makes you feel at home, explaining the dishes so that you can relate to them as you eat them. Excellent, traditional Benevento cuisine; I'll remember the Lardiata for at least five days! The menu, which changes regularly to reflect seasonality and local traditions, is highly recommended. It's worth a stop if you're passing through Benevento! See you soon!

10/07/2026: The overall experience was more than satisfactory. The wait staff was professional, welcoming, and kind, and the food was fabulous. The flavor was authentic and the cooking was nothing short of perfect. But, regrettably, I must point out the lack of a written menu (we were given a verbal one), which deprives customers of the ability to see the various prices (from dishes to service to beverages). Transparency is completely lacking, and arriving at the cash register not knowing whether the total was the result of a true addition of list prices or just a rough calculation is an unpleasant surprise.

24/05/2026: Rarely do you encounter hospitality and dining experiences like those of Raffaele and his family. The dishes they offer have the flavor of the sea. The seasonings and ingredients are those of the best Campania and Sannio traditions. The staff's smiles and meticulous attention to detail transport you to a timeless European atmosphere... In a discreet corner, you glimpse the face of a fantastic woman who says: "Economy is care." Caring for people is the immediately revealed secret of these wonderful restaurateurs, both modern and ancient... In the atmosphere of Sannio... an unexpected and joyful Neapolitan soul emerges. Unmissable.

10/05/2026: Two stars only because the bill was in line with what they served. I wasn't familiar with the place, but a few acquaintances had told me about it, so I went with high hopes to try it. Total disappointment!! I'm almost certain that much of the fish was frozen, but there were no asterisks on the menu. The rest, if not frozen, I wouldn't call it fresh!! A "paranza" appetizer where the only passable thing was the salted accompaniment and perhaps the mussels. Alongside the fresh ones, there were some lovely frozen mussels with their unmistakable bright orange color and "cardboard" texture. The octopus alla Luciana must have made Luciana turn in her grave! Peeled tomatoes had a sour, metallic flavor. There was no scent or aroma. The seafood scialatielli and the paccheri with swordfish and eggplant were the epitome of flavorlessness!! Damn, Italian cuisine is a UNESCO World Heritage Site!! Poorly cooked and flavorless first courses like this are unacceptable due to the low quality of the ingredients. 😠 The fried foods and grilled meats were barely passable. The grilled vegetables were forgettable. The bill?? Excellent. 80 euros for three people at a table. One appetizer, two first courses, three second courses, two side dishes, and 1.5 liters of water and a decent wine. The service was inadequate. I'm sorry I don't agree, but having grown up among passionate fishermen, I can't praise something that doesn't deserve it. They need to improve, a lot. Their courtesy is beyond question, but that's another matter.

12/04/2026: We found this restaurant completely by chance, and even though we hadn't booked, they kindly sat us down at a table. The restaurant is very elegant, tastefully decorated, and surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden. We were served by the owners' son, Francesco, who was simply delicious and very accommodating to our requests. Lunch began with a mixed fried fish dish, followed by two delicious spaghetti with clams—one plain and one with cherry tomatoes—and finished with a Marchigiana burger served with a provolone cream sauce, battered onion rings, and French fries. We also requested a portion of baked potatoes. The ingredients used were excellent, and the cooking was expertly done. We were truly satisfied. Good value for money.

11/04/2026: A well-kept and welcoming location, recommended to us by the producers of a Benevento winery. Excellent wines and a wide selection. The dishes reflect the traditional flavors of the area. We had the appetizer and the first course of fresh homemade pasta, the scialatielli were amazing 😋😋 Worth both the stop and the detour 👏👏👏
