02/09/2024: The only thing going for this place is the view. It's a tourist trap.
Waiters seemed disinterested & not friendly at all. Our drinks were forgotten & the food was average. My husband ordered mixed fish which came out raw and asked them for fish to be cooked more. Shortly after this he started to feel unwell with nausea & stomach cramps, vomiting & diarrhoea. We were supposed to go to Capri today but we had to cancel. My friend also experienced a terrible meal. She ordered fried fish which only had lots of large whitebait. Looked awful & could only see fish heads. One piece of fish that had so many bones in it she couldn't eat it.
Do not recommend!
17/08/2024: Nella romantica Positano una splendida “Cambusa”. Una rara terrazza sulla spiaggia, con vista bellissima, dove insieme ad amici siamo stati accolti dalla gentile e simpatica Ornella . Abbiamo gustato ottimi piatti di pesce “super fresco “ cucinati con attenzione ( i primi di pasta cotti alla perfezione) e con qualche tocco di fantasia ( gli antipasti) . Indimenticabile lo spaghetto alla nerano delicato nella armonia dei suoi ingredienti Dolci eccellenti , servizio attento locale pulito e prezzi in linea con la qualità di quanto consumato . Sarà in futuro la nostra tappa obbligata in costiera amalfitana !

18/07/2024: We liked this beach club the most out of all the one we looked into in Sorrento. Yes, it is expensive to pay for a sunbed and umbrella (50 euros for 2 people) especially coming from the U.S. where we take public beaches for granted, but it felt worth it for a few reasons. First of all, when we went on a weekday in the afternoon even during the summer it was easy to get a spot. We made a reservation, but it didn't seem like we needed one. We were able to get 2 sunbeds and have drinks brought to us at our sunbeds. The limoncello spritz was excellent. Second of all, you can't beat the experience of swimming in the Bay of Naples next to ancient Roman ruins. That was just incredible. Third, we were able to leave our belongings at our sunbeds without any worries that someone would take them because there was a lot of staff around. I would not have felt comfortable doing that at a public beach. We came back for a second time on a weekend, and we should have made a reservation because even at 10:30 AM it was already extremely busy. We had to wait 10 minutes to be let in, and then when we were let in we were only able to rent lounge chairs and not sunbeds. That still wasn't too bad though because the lounge chairs and umbrella were a little cheaper (around 40 euros for 2 people) and we still got to swim, which was the main reason we wanted to be there anyway. The drinks and refreshments are a bit expensive since you're paying for the view and the experience as well. Don't come here if you want a traditional beach experience though. There is no sand. The sunbeds are on a pier. Personally, that did not bother me because I would rather not have sand all over my feet and belongings.

12/08/2024: It is a good choice for those who are hungry after visiting Pompeii. Pizza is not bad, pasta is good, seafood is also good. I liked the lemon ice cream. I asked the waiters for ice and they didn't bring it, so I deducted a star from there. I've eaten more delicious pizza.

05/05/2024: Esperienza del tutto deludente. Dopo una attesa lunghissima per la sola ordinazione di circa 45 minuti , attesa nella quale siamo stati letteralmente ignorati come se fossimo trasparenti, finalmente abbiamo fatto le nostre richieste . Abbiamo preso un piatto di scialatielli ai frutti di mare , del tutto insufficiente in termini di sapori con delle cozze e delle listarelle di calamaro quasi insapori, e mia moglie un piatto di pesce spada arrosto, arrivato in tavola con una consistenza non molto dissimile da quella di una suola di scarpa. Questi due piatti, insieme a due contorni ( uno di patate al forno un poco unte ed uno di verdure grigliate) insieme ad una bottiglia di acqua e ad una birra piccola sono costate 50 Euro. Lo scorso anno nello stesso ristorante l'esperienza era stata nettamente migliore ma in questa circostanza definirla deludente è poco ; peccato perchè le potenzialità sarebbero maggiori. In conclusione esperienza pessima.
10/04/2024: Domenica affollatissima al parco archeologico, entriamo alle 15 circa senza speranza, ma il servizio, gentile e disponibile, pur dicendo che la cucina sta per chiudere, ci accontenta. Con quella calca e quel pienone non avevamo grandi aspettative e invece, nel fresco del giardino coperto con teloni, ci hanno servito velocissimamente delle pietanze gustose e ben curate (da apprezzare, per i bimbi, la cotoletta naturale e fresca e non congelata). Giusto in tempo per visitare anche il museo

01/08/2024: I'm a little torn in writing this review, because ultimately I'm not convinced that the experience was absolutely pleasant, but neither was it the other way around.
I start from the fact that I started with high expectations, this probably already influenced my final opinion.
First of all let's talk about the location, perhaps one of the points that absolutely does not deserve any criticism, the tables outside enjoy an absolutely spectacular view.
The review could end here, but I allow myself to continue only because, in my opinion, a restaurant that is lucky enough to enjoy a similar position deserves a different cuisine.
The dishes aren't bad (of course mostly fish-based), but they fall into mediocrity, dishes you could eat anywhere (and at lower prices).
As already mentioned, a wasted opportunity, because it wouldn't take much to raise it to higher standards.
The staff was courteous and kind.
It is easy to park if you arrive by car (at the port car park, immediately under the restaurant), but it is a little less easy to get there, given the presence of infinite one-way streets, pedestrian areas, restricted traffic zones and roads closed to traffic.

29/07/2024: If I could choose no star, I would choose that one. Staff that is not very empathetic and not very welcoming. Price/quality is terrible. Frozen food passed off as fresh. In this restaurant we only met weird people or people with disabilities. For a moment it was as if we were in a scene from the film "The Hills Have Eyes". We ordered paccheri with lobster and spaghetti with sea urchin. The owner had assured us that the catch was fresh and therefore we would not regret it. Once the dish arrived we could see that the fish was in fact not fresh, but dead and frozen.
We pointed this out and they brought us another dish to replace it. When we got the bill, they made us pay for the replacement dish and in addition for the one we didn't eat. I strongly advise against it.
28/07/2024: I strongly advise against eating at this place, low quality food and high prices. Staff with serious cognitive problems when we asked to speak to the owner there was a sort of passing the buck between some of the staff to avoid confrontation. We ordered two incomparable spaghetti with sea urchins which were brought back "whole" and replaced by a decent spaghetti with clams.. when the bill arrived we found that they made us pay not only for the indecent spaghetti with sea urchins but also for the spaghetti with clams taken as a replacement, I strongly advise against it the stay little culture of
Food and low level of tact towards customers.

18/08/2024: Bad beach with a lounger costs 30 euros, food and drinks are extremely expensive. Instead of freshly squeezed orange juice, there is a cheap tetra pack of juice for 8 euros for half a glass. Not recommended. There is no greeting either.
17/08/2024: It's crazy that there are unattainable seaside facilities like the Saracen tower where to go down to the sea, in addition to the enormous distance from the buses, you have to climb a hundred very steep steps and then pay 40 euros per person for a sunbed only if you stay for lunch. We had lunch with single dishes of very small quantity for 55 euros each. In the fried prawns and calamari I counted 7 pieces!!. So 95 per person for a sea that is too difficult to reach from land without a beach with a very narrow and not even clean sea space to enjoy without hours of the return being impossible with a climb to get back to the center. No buses, no taxis.
A rude and unwelcoming attitude on the part of the managers, almost as if they were doing us a favor by letting us in.
Excellent for Americans, Russians, Arabs, and other types of rich people who come from yachts to the restaurant.
For Italians there is little to enjoy on Capri now.
I don't know how something like this is acceptable... if one day foreigners or rich people no longer go there it will be difficult to bring back the Italians of the past.

18/07/2024: We were there twice, the value for money was very good, the environment of the place was very poorly maintained, it still reflected the good times gone by, I'm sorry to say, it was very, very sad as a location.
What really bothered me was the suffocating presence of the owner, talking about the dishes and the fish, the second time we went he said: if you have to order I recommend not too many frills and too many MIXED dishes because the chef isn't there. it is and I have to cook, I didn't get up and leave because I was with people, but that's not how it's done, if you don't have the staff and it's your fault, not mine......
The waiters were VERY present to ask every 2 minutes if everything was ok, (this is not a criticism, this is to say that sometimes people want to be a little calm)
In the end, however, I repeat the very very tasty dishes with fresh products, and above all the very honest price
16/07/2024: Cozy place, very good pizza, it's a shame that the rudeness and total lack of humility of the owner towards customers and employees above all, make this place a real "nightmare kitchen!" 😱 the very polite and welcoming waitress is left to herself and divides her time between tables (indoor and outdoor), kitchen, bar and whatever else there is to do...obviously with poor results because she is the only one, at the mercy of the numerous "reprimands" from the owner... the very good pizza chef, a little inattentive probably because he was not stimulated and valued as he should. The place should "breathe" and the solution could be to change the manager!

12/05/2024: Unsympathetic staff, when asked to open an umbrella or move into the shade they treated us as if we had asked them who knows what, responding in an arrogant and presumptuous way. If I had to recommend it to anyone, not even the person I hate the most.

26/04/2024: Buongiorno, sono stata con mio marito per due sere consecutive e, oltre ad un buon cibo, ho trovato cortesia e accoglienza da parte della Sig.ra e del Sig.re presenti in sala. Molto attenti ai clienti che tutto fosse di gradimento, ho apprezzato il fatto che abbiamo avuto una esigenza alimentare e, seppur fuori menu', siamo stati accontentati, non è da molti ristoratori. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Grazie!!!

28/07/2024: Sono un recensore esperto tripadvisor, premetto che in 20 anni di recensioni ho sempre avuto massimo rispetto per chi lavora con onestà ed etica, non ho mai recensito con spirito distruttivo ma con spirito ai fini costruttivi. Ieri sera ho cenato in questo ristorante zembri, ho ordinato per me spaghetti con le vongole , dopo una lunga ma diciamo giustificata attesa ,il.locale era strapieno ma l unico con un tavolo disponibile in tutta il lungomare, verso le 22, mi è arrivato il piatto davvero troppo piccante , anche per chi cenava con me che al mio contrario adora il piccante ha ritenuto il piccante davvero esageratamente piccante , ho riferito al personale di sala che con molta gentilezza ha prontamente provveduto ad ordinare un altro piatto . Con molta delusione anche perché a questo punto avevo anche fame consto che i secondi spaghetti arrivati che non sapremo mai se sono stati lavati, sono stati conditi con molto sale , praticamente pur non volendo sembrare la signora acida della serata non sono riuscita a mangiare la seconda forchetta. A questo punto io credo il personale non sorpreso si è interessato del perché anche questi spaghetti erano rimasti nel piatto. Mi hanno invitato a parlare con la persona alla cassa ,di cui non so se fosse il proprietario, posso però dire che senza alcuna etica ne professionalità invece di scusarsi per l accaduto e del fatto che alle 23 io fossi rimasta senza cena ha invece messo in dubbio la questione, e sebbene io in maniera discreta cercassi di presentarmi come una persona seria e di certo non avvezza a queste situazioni, ha invece alzato la voce ed ha continuato a dare la sua versione sulla mia serietà anche mentre io con educazione e dopo aver pagato per intero il conto, lasciavo il locale. Sono molto dispiaciuta dell accaduto , poiché la questione non è sorta per un mio gusto personale ma anche chi era al tavolo com me ha confermato che la pietanza era inmangiabile. Invito qualora la persona in oggetto rispondesse a questa recensione a chiedere scusa per la sua mancata professionalità. In cucina tutto può succedere specie quando il locale è stracolmo. Ma l.importante è sapersi comportare, per 16 euro non si perde la faccia .in tutto ciò non mi ha rilasciato neanche lo scontrino fiscale.
11/04/2024: Consigliati da un' amica siamo andati a pranzo in questo ristorante situato proprio in passeggiata a mare a Castellammare di Stabia. Abbiamo mangiato gnocchi di ricotta alle vongole su crema di friarielli e una linguina cacio e pepe con tartare di gamberi di Mazzara e salsa di tarallo. Due calici di vino, due acque un caffè per un totale di 45€ il tutto. Prezzo onesto vista la bontà e l' abbondanza del cibo!
