15/09/2025: A culinary gem in the heart of Tropea I was fortunate enough to discover this Italian restaurant during my visit to Tropea this summer. From the very first moment, the atmosphere envelops you: warm, welcoming, and full of the typical charm of southern Italy. The outdoor tables overlooking the picturesque streets make every meal feel special, whether day or night. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional, always smiling. You can tell they enjoy what they do and want every customer to have an unforgettable experience. Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared, with fresh and authentic ingredients. The pizzas, in particular, deserve a special mention: light and crispy dough, sauce with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, and topping combinations that respect Italian tradition while still surprising. We also tried pastas and appetizers, and everything was of an extremely high standard. If you're in Tropea and looking for a place to eat really well, enjoy a charming atmosphere, and feel welcomed from the moment you walk in until you leave, you can't miss this restaurant. 01/10/2025: We are in Tropea and we decide to eat in this "dreary place".... we sit down and when we ask for house wine they say they don't have it so we decide to get some beers... when we ask again what beers the place has (at the price of 5 euros each) they say they only have Draught beer and Peroni... we order the least bad 7 Peroni and 7 Draught beer arrives already opened without our consent... almost as if to say if you want it here you have to... the waiter's response to our appeal was "today we only have these", our supplier has only unloaded these... we ask the waiter how he can charge customers, in a hidden alley of Tropea, a Draught beer in a restaurant for 5 euros and he replies "don't worry" because you don't pay 5 euros for it, you pay less.. the bill arrives and we pay 35 euros for those 7 Draught beer that we never asked for without any adjustment and with an arrogant attitude from the staff.... It is not possible in this historical moment where everyone is having difficulty charging 5 euros for a Draught beer. (hot)...then don't complain that people don't fill the places... Profiteers and dishonest people, reading the reviews, it's not even the first time they've scammed people with the same excuse....Dreher is in the cellars....so be more honest and conscientious with people....I strongly advise against going there.....2 stars for the food because the fried food was barely adequate anyway...

01/10/2025: Pizzeria-style service, but unfortunately there's no restaurant here: there's a cover charge, but you have to ask for bread. The rotisserie is subpar, and the dishes are sparse. The prices, however, are those of a high-end restaurant.

06/10/2025: Mediocre food for Italy. The octopus on my pasta was anywhere to find. The muscles on the past were mostly closed and some tasted not good. Beer was warm. Service was good. View was amazing

04/10/2025: Located right on the bypass road with free parking. All tables offer a magnificent view of the sea and the neighboring beaches. Unfortunately, the owners are only making a mixed effort with the service and food. Prices are fair, but I wouldn't come here primarily for the food. The view is unique!

23/08/2025: The service was adequate, the maître d' was very kind and friendly, but the food, on the other hand, left much to be desired. The grilled meat was burned, and spending €35 for a dish that simply tasted burnt isn't ideal. The caramelized onion tasted too vinegary, the tuna (from the tuna with Tropea onions dish) tasted more like boiled than cooked, and the fried calamari was too tough. Furthermore, you could tell the oil it was fried in wasn't the best, probably having been used too many times. The prices were not in line with the quality of the food served.

19/08/2025: A shabby trattoria, where you eat in a plastic tent with dim lights. The staff is unsuitable for table service, rude and awkward. Meager dishes and exorbitant prices. I ordered paccheri allo scoglio and was served five cold paccheri. Not recommended! Unworthy of the name "fish trattoria."
