17/03/2026: The food tasted very good, but the prices were far too high. Charging 20 euros for a portion of pasta with ONE shrimp is a rip-off. For 20 euros, I expected a large portion full of shrimp. There are better restaurants in Tropea.

They offer a lunch menu with first and second courses, a good selection of wines, and decent coffee with Amaro del Capo.

I was fortunate enough to discover this Italian restaurant during my visit to Tropea this summer.
From the very first moment, the atmosphere envelops you: warm, welcoming, and full of the typical charm of southern Italy. The outdoor tables overlooking the picturesque streets make every meal feel special, whether day or night.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional, always smiling. You can tell they enjoy what they do and want every customer to have an unforgettable experience.
Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared, with fresh and authentic ingredients. The pizzas, in particular, deserve a special mention: light and crispy dough, sauce with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, and topping combinations that respect Italian tradition while still surprising.
We also tried pastas and appetizers, and everything was of an extremely high standard.
If you're in Tropea and looking for a place to eat really well, enjoy a charming atmosphere, and feel welcomed from the moment you walk in until you leave, you can't miss this restaurant.
I would come back a thousand times over! 🇮🇹🍕🍷

25/10/2025: 1 star because it's not possible to give it 0. We waited 1.40 hours for a pizza that we didn't even eat, because in desperation we left at 10.40pm (we arrived at 9pm). Two of us had ordered a fried food, which arrived quite quickly, but it's unthinkable to let only part of the table eat while the others stand around and watch. Two pizzas are baked every 30 minutes. Get ready, because at this rate you won't get far. The bill was incredibly high, basically €75 for two fried foods with a side salad and two portions of chips. Highly not recommended.
06/10/2025: Mediocre food for Italy. The octopus on my pasta was anywhere to find. The muscles on the past were mostly closed and some tasted not good. Beer was warm. Service was good. View was amazing

21/09/2025: I've had lunch twice at this restaurant with its enchanting view. I was on vacation with friends and would have returned several times given the quality of the food and the tranquility of the place, but we were mocked for tactical menu changes like,
"Oh! We don't have this seafood appetizer (20 euros) today, but if you want, I'll bring you octopus and marinated anchovies."
They didn't specify that they become two separate dishes, and you pay 20 euros for two tentacles and 20 euros for 8 anchovies.
So your seafood appetizer becomes a starred appetizer for 40 euros.
The receipt never arrived.
We were wrong not to ask for anything at the time, but we were on a happy, carefree vacation and only later realized we'd been a bit ripped off.

07/07/2025: A me non piace scrivere e dare le recensioni, quindi dico solo questo: il personale ha portato l'acqua al nostro cagnolino in una ciotola senza che noi avessimo chiesto nulla. Mi sembra scontato dire che il cibo è di una bontà stratosferica, viste anche le altre recensioni. Fantastici.
04/07/2025: La partecipazione a 4 ristoranti ci ha sicuramente incuriositi, ma abbiamo apprezzato la cena soprattutto per la freschezza della materia prima e la sapienza con cui viene trattata. L'antipasto refresh erano 9 assaggi a base di pesce, sfiziosi e saporiti (assolutamente eccezionale lo sformato di cavolo viola e la polpetta), accompagnati da un crudo di prima qualità; gustosi i bigoli alla tartare di gambero e tartufo nero (a scaglie, e non macinato o in salsa come spesso capita), delicatissimo il rotolino di spada. Gentile il personale di sala, disponibile e attento a scusarsi per un piccolo ritardo nel servizio. A nostro personale avviso, il vincitore del programma di Borghese.

Excellent restaurant!
The place is truly delicious! The staff is super hospitable, friendly, and always smiling. They warmly welcome people from all over the world and make you feel right at home.
The food is fantastic—everything is prepared with care and flavor. My favorite dish was the "Spaghetti alla Carbonara," truly exceptional! But the other dishes are also delicious, beautiful
to look at and delicious to eat.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. It truly deserves 5 stars!

19/07/2025: da cece , ristorante posizionato in una zona suggestiva di Tropea vicina al belvedere. Si mangia bene ; il proprietario gentile dalla dizione apolide, abbiamo mangiato bene le tante paste proposte preparate per bene il cerruzzo buono , un po’ costoso. Caponata di spada buona. Sufficiente la scelta dei vini. L’ombrellone protettivo dei tavoli limita la fantasia dei commensali e riduce la suggestione del posto. Il servizio lento . Nel complesso i proprietari ospitali , si può fare di più
19/07/2025: Ottimo cibo preparato con cura e dedizione valorizzando le materie prime di prima scelta. Gli spaghetti ai moscardini sono il punto di forza. La caponata di spada una delizia. Il cerruzzo è uno sfizio prelibato. Non c'è abbastanza tempo per descrivere tutto il resto. La cantina da ampia scelta per tutti i palati. Ma la vera forza è lo staff di sala e cucina. Fortemente raccomandato. Bravi tutti

11/07/2025: Dalla terrazza sul mare di questo locale si gode una vista splendida sul mare e su Stromboli. Siamo stati accolti da personale molto gentile e ben consigliati.
Abbiamo cenato benissimo con uno spaghetto alle veraci e uno al nero di seppia accompagnati da una gradevole bollicina locale. Senza fretta ci siamo goduti lo splendido tramonto. Consigliabilissimo.

15/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in questo posto per il pranzo di ferragosto… i camerieri gentili e disponibili,
ma il mangiare pessimo, antipasto con un insalata di mare confezionata, 4 bruschette, 2 frittelle di zucchina,i primi pasta scotta e riso con gamberetti che dovevi cercarli e infine misera frittura e grigliata, nessun contorno, né frutta né dolce…
Un tavolo per 3 persone molto piccolo che abbiamo fatto fatica pure a mangiare, poi in mezzo alla sala, nessun contorno e nessun menù da poter visionare e inoltre quando ho parlato al telefono per prenotare mi è stato detto tutt’altro menù !quando ho fatto presente alla proprietaria, queste incongruenze sono stata presa per scema, e in modo maleducato mi ha detto “visto che è la prima volta che viene lei non sa come funziona qui! Il menù è fisso ed è quello”
Pesce cosa oscura e anche l’educazione della proprietaria. NON LO CONSIGLIO!
